आ या॑हि सुषु॒मा हि त॒ इन्द्र॒ सोमं॒ पिबा॑ इ॒मम् । एदं ब॒र्हिः स॑दो॒ मम॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आओ तुम्हारे लिए हम सोमरस निचोड़ते हैं. तुम इस सोम को पिओ एवं हमारे द्वारा बिछाए गए इन कुशों पर बैठो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Come for you let us squeeze the somras. You drink this mon and sit on these kushas laid down by us. (1)
आ त्वा॑ ब्रह्म॒युजा॒ हरी॒ वह॑तामिन्द्र के॒शिना॑ । उप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि नः शृणु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! मंत्र के कारण रथ में जुड़ने वाले एवं केशों से युक्त घोड़े तुम्हें यहां लावें. इस यज्ञ में आकर तुम हमारी स्तुतियां सुनो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Because of the mantra, the horses that join the chariot and have hair should bring you here. Come to this yajna and listen to our praises. (2)
ब्र॒ह्माण॑स्त्वा व॒यं यु॒जा सो॑म॒पामि॑न्द्र सो॒मिनः॑ । सु॒ताव॑न्तो हवामहे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सोमरस से युक्त व सोमरस निचोड़ने वाले हम स्तोता योग्य स्लुतियों द्वारा तुम सोमपान करने वाले को बुलाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We, consisting of somras and squeezing somras, call you the one who does sompan by stota worthy sluties. (3)
आ नो॑ याहि सु॒ताव॑तो॒ऽस्माकं॑ सुष्टु॒तीरुप॑ । पिबा॒ सु शि॑प्रि॒न्नन्ध॑सः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सोमरस निचोड़ने वाले हम लोगों के सामने आओ एवं हमारी स्तुतियां सुनो. हे शोभन शिरस्त्राण वाले इंद्र! सोमरूप हव्य का भोग करो. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Come before us who squeeze somras and listen to our praises. O Indra with shobhan shirasran! Enjoy the somrup havya. (4)
आ ते॑ सिञ्चामि कु॒क्ष्योरनु॒ गात्रा॒ वि धा॑वतु । गृ॒भा॒य जि॒ह्वया॒ मधु॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारी दोनों कोखों को मैं सोमरस से पूर्ण करता हूं. सोमरस तुम्हारे शरीर के सभी भोगों को व्याप्त करे. तुम जीभ द्वारा मधुर सोमरस स्वीकार करो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! I complete both your wombs with somras. May the somras permeate all the indulgences of your body. You accept the sweet somras by tongue. (5)
स्वा॒दुष्टे॑ अस्तु सं॒सुदे॒ मधु॑मान्त॒न्वे॒३॒॑ तव॑ । सोमः॒ शम॑स्तु ते हृ॒दे ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! यह माधुर्यपूर्ण सोम तुम्हारे शोभनदान वाले शरीर के लिए अत्यंत स्वाद वाला हो. यह सोम तुम्हारे हृदय के लिए सुखकारक हो. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! This melody mon is extremely flavored for your adornment body. This mon be pleasing to your heart. (6)
अ॒यमु॑ त्वा विचर्षणे॒ जनी॑रिवा॒भि संवृ॑तः । प्र सोम॑ इन्द्र सर्पतु ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विशेष द्रष्टा इंद्र! यह सोम स्त्री के समान ढका हुआ बनकर तुम्हारे समीप जाए. (७)
EN English Translation
O special seer Indra! Let this mon be covered like a woman and go near you. (7)
तु॒वि॒ग्रीवो॑ व॒पोद॑रः सुबा॒हुरन्ध॑सो॒ मदे॑ । इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ जिघ्नते ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विस्तीर्ण ग्रीवा वाले, बड़े पेट वाले एवं शोभन भुजाओं से युक्त इंद्र सोमरूप हव्य से प्रमत्त होकर शन्रुओं का नाश करते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
Indra Somrup, with a wide neck, with a large stomach and with a dry arms, is blessed with havya and destroys the shanrus. (8)
इन्द्र॒ प्रेहि॑ पु॒रस्त्वं विश्व॒स्येशा॑न॒ ओज॑सा । वृ॒त्राणि॑ वृत्रहञ्जहि ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम अपने बल से सारे जगत् के स्वामी बनकर हमारे सामने आओ. हे वृत्रनाशक इंद्र! तुम शत्रुओं को मारो. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Come before us by your own strength as masters of all the worlds. O the conqueror Indra! You kill the enemies. (9)
दी॒र्घस्ते॑ अस्त्वङ्कु॒शो येना॒ वसु॑ प्र॒यच्छ॑सि । यज॑मानाय सुन्व॒ते ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारा वह अंकुश बड़ा हो, जिससे तुम सोमरस निचोड़ने वाले यजमान को धन हो. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Your curb is big, so that you have wealth to the host who squeezes the somras. (10)
अ॒यं त॑ इन्द्र॒ सोमो॒ निपू॑तो॒ अधि॑ ब॒र्हिषि॑ । एही॑म॒स्य द्रवा॒ पिब॑ ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! यह सोम तुम्हारे लिए वेदी पर बिछे हुए कुशों पर विशेषरूप से शुद्ध किया गया है. तुम यहां आओ एवं इसे शीघ्र पिओ. (११)
EN English Translation
O Indra! This mon has been especially purified for you on the kushas laid on the altar. You come here and drink it quickly. (11)
शाचि॑गो॒ शाचि॑पूजना॒यं रणा॑य ते सु॒तः । आख॑ण्डल॒ प्र हू॑यसे ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शक्तिशाली, गायों के स्वामी एवं प्रसिद्ध पूजन वाले इंद्र! तुम्हारी प्रसन्नता के लिए यह सोमरस निचोड़ा गया है. हे शत्रुनाशक इंद्र! तुम स्तुतियों द्वारा बुलाए जाते हो. (१२)
EN English Translation
O mighty, lord of cows and the famous worshiper Indra! This sommerus has been squeezed for your delight. O enemies Indra! You are called by praises. (12)
यस्ते॑ शृङ्गवृषो नपा॒त्प्रण॑पात्कुण्ड॒पाय्यः॑ । न्य॑स्मिन्दध्र॒ आ मनः॑ ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शृंगवृष ऋषि के पुत्र इंद्र! कुण्डपाट्य नामक यज्ञ तुम्हारा स्थापक है. ऋषियों ने उस यज्ञ में मन लगाया है. (१३)
EN English Translation
O Son of Sage Shringavrush, Indra! The yajna named Kundapatya is your founder. The sages have put their mind into that yagna. (13)
वास्तो॑ष्पते ध्रु॒वा स्थूणांस॑त्रं सो॒म्याना॑म् । द्र॒प्सो भे॒त्ता पु॒रां शश्व॑तीना॒मिन्द्रो॒ मुनी॑नां॒ सखा॑ ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे गृह के स्वामी इंद्र! घर की छत रोकने वाले लकड़ी के खंभे स्थिर हों. हम सोमरस निचोड़ने वालों के शरीर में रक्षायोग्य बल दो. तरल सोम वाले एवं शत्रु नगरियों का नाश करने वाले इंद्र ऋषियों के सखा हों. (१४)
EN English Translation
O Lord of the House Indra! The wooden pillars that block the roof of the house should be fixed. We give the protective force in the body of the somras squeezers. Let the devotees of the liquid somas and those who destroy the enemy cities be the servants of the sages. (14)
पृदा॑कुसानुर्यज॒तो ग॒वेष॑ण॒ एकः॒ सन्न॒भि भूय॑सः । भूर्णि॒मश्वं॑ नयत्तु॒जा पु॒रो गृ॒भेन्द्रं॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑ ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सांप के समान ऊंचे सिर वाले, यज्ञ के पात्र एवं गायों को देने वाले इंद्र अकेले होने पर भी बहुत से शत्रुओं को पराजित करते हैं. स्तोता भरण करने वाले एवं व्यापक इंद्र को सोमरस पीने के लिए हमारे सामने लाते हैं. (१५)
EN English Translation
Indra, who has a snake-like high head, the vessel of yajna and the giver to the cows, defeats many enemies even when he is alone. The psalms bring the filler and the sweeping Indra before us to drink the somras. (15)
