श॒र्य॒णाव॑ति॒ सोम॒मिन्द्रः॑ पिबतु वृत्र॒हा । बलं॒ दधा॑न आ॒त्मनि॑ करि॒ष्यन्वी॒र्यं॑ म॒हदिन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (१)

शत्रुनाशक इंद्र शर्यणावत नामक तालाब में सोम को पिएं एवं आत्मविश्वासी व महान् शक्तिशाली बनें. हे सोम! तुम इंद्र के लिए रस टपकाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
Drink Som in a pond called the enemy destroyer Indra Sharyanavat and become confident and great powerful. Hey Mon! You drip juice to Indra. (1)
आ प॑वस्व दिशां पत आर्जी॒कात्सो॑म मीढ्वः । ऋ॒त॒वा॒केन॑ स॒त्येन॑ श्र॒द्धया॒ तप॑सा सु॒त इन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दिशाओं के स्वामी एवं अभिलाषापूरक सोम! तुम ऋजीक देश से आकर रस बरसाओ. तुम्हें शुद्ध एवं सच्चे स्तुतिवचनों व श्रद्धा तथा तप के द्वारा निचोड़ा जाता है. हे सोम! तुम इंद्र के लिए रस बरसाओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O Lord of the directions and the desireful Mon! You come from the rich country and shower the juice. You are squeezed by pure and true praises and by faith and penance. Hey Mon! You shower juice for Indra. (2)
प॒र्जन्य॑वृद्धं महि॒षं तं सूर्य॑स्य दुहि॒ताभ॑रत् । तं ग॑न्ध॒र्वाः प्रत्य॑गृभ्ण॒न्तं सोमे॒ रस॒माद॑धु॒रिन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
श्रद्धा नामक सूर्यपुत्री मेघ के समान समृद्ध और महान् सोम को स्वर्ग से लाई थी. गंधर्वो ने उस सोम को पकड़कर उस में रस डाला. हे सोम! तुम इंद्र के लिए रस टपकाओ. (३)
EN English Translation
The Suryaputri named Shraddha brought the great som from heaven as rich and great as the cloud. Gandharvo grabbed that mon and poured juice into it. Hey Mon! You drip juice to Indra. (3)
ऋ॒तं वद॑न्नृतद्युम्न स॒त्यं वद॑न्सत्यकर्मन् । श्र॒द्धां वद॑न्सोम राजन्धा॒त्रा सो॑म॒ परि॑ष्कृत॒ इन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सच्चे यश वाले, यथार्थ कर्म करने वाले, निचुड़ते हुए व सबके स्वामी सोम! तुम यज्ञ, सत्य और श्रद्धा का उच्चारण करते हुए देवपोषक यजमान के द्वारा अलंकृत होकर इंद्र के लिए रस नीचे गिराते हो. (४)
EN English Translation
O you who have true success, do real deeds, are the ones who are discouraging and the lord of all, Mon! You utter yajna, truth and reverence and pour down the juice for Indra, embellished by the devposhak host. (4)
स॒त्यमु॑ग्रस्य बृह॒तः सं स्र॑वन्ति संस्र॒वाः । सं य॑न्ति र॒सिनो॒ रसाः॑ पुना॒नो ब्रह्म॑णा हर॒ इन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वास्तविक उग्र और महान् सोम की नीचे गिरने वाली धारा बह रही है. रस वाले सोम का यह रस बह रहा है. हे हरे रंग के सोम! तुम ब्राह्मण द्वारा शुद्ध होते हुए इंद्र के लिए रस नीचे गिराओ. (५)
EN English Translation
The real furious and the stream that falls down of the great mon is flowing. This juice of the juiced mon is flowing. O mon of green! You drop the juice down to Indra while being purified by the Brahmin. (5)
यत्र॑ ब्र॒ह्मा प॑वमान छन्द॒स्यां॒३॒॑ वाचं॒ वद॑न् । ग्राव्णा॒ सोमे॑ मही॒यते॒ सोमे॑नान॒न्दं ज॒नय॒न्निन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शुद्ध होते हुए सोम! तुम्हारे निमित्त सात छंदों के द्वारा बनाई हुई स्तुति को बोलने वाले, पत्थर की सहायता से तुम्हारा रस निचोड़ते हुए तथा तुम्हारे द्वारा देवों में आनंद उत्पन्न करने वाले ब्राह्मण की जहां पूजा होती है, तुम वहां इंद्र के लिए रस नीचे गिराओ. (६)
EN English Translation
O you are pure, Mon! You drop the juice for Indra where the Brahmin, who speaks praise made for you through seven verses, squeezes your juice with the help of a stone and you worship the Brahmin who creates joy in the gods. (6)
यत्र॒ ज्योति॒रज॑स्रं॒ यस्मि॑ँल्लो॒के स्व॑र्हि॒तम् । तस्मि॒न्मां धे॑हि पवमाना॒मृते॑ लो॒के अक्षि॑त॒ इन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! जिस लोक में नित्य ज्योति है, स्वर्ग छिपा हुआ है, उसी अमर एवं क्षयरहित लोक में मुझे ले चलो. तुम इंद्र के लिए रस बरसाओ. (७)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! In the people in which there is a constant light, heaven is hidden, take me to the same immortal and unimpressed realm. You shower juice for Indra. (7)
यत्र॒ राजा॑ वैवस्व॒तो यत्रा॑व॒रोध॑नं दि॒वः । यत्रा॒मूर्य॒ह्वती॒राप॒स्तत्र॒ माम॒मृतं॑ कृ॒धीन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! जिस लोक में विवस्वान् के पुत्र राजा हैं, जहां स्वर्ग का द्वार है एवं जहां गंगा आदि विशाल नदियां स्थित हैं, मुझे उसी मरणरहित लोक में ले चलो एवं इंद्र के लिए अपना रस नीचे गिराओ. (८)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! In the loka in which the sons of Vivasvan are the king, where there is a gate to heaven and where the great rivers of the Ganges are located, take me to the same godless realm and throw down your juice for Indra. (8)
यत्रा॑नुका॒मं चर॑णं त्रिना॒के त्रि॑दि॒वे दि॒वः । लो॒का यत्र॒ ज्योति॑ष्मन्त॒स्तत्र॒ माम॒मृतं॑ कृ॒धीन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! स्वर्ग के जिस तीसरे लोक में सूर्य कि किरणें उनकी इच्छा के अनुकूल हैं ओर जहां ज्योति वाले लोग रहते हैं, उस लोक में पहुंचाकर मुझे अमर बनाओ तथा इंद्र के लिए अपना रस नीचे गिराओ. (९)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! In the third loka of heaven in which the rays of the sun conform to their will and where the people of light live, make me immortal by bringing it to that loka and drop your juice for Indra. (9)
यत्र॒ कामा॑ निका॒माश्च॒ यत्र॑ ब्र॒ध्नस्य॑ वि॒ष्टप॑म् । स्व॒धा च॒ यत्र॒ तृप्ति॑श्च॒ तत्र॒ माम॒मृतं॑ कृ॒धीन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! जिस लोक में अभिलषित एवं प्रार्थनीय इंद्रादि देव रहते हैं, जहां सबके ज्ञापक सूर्य का स्थान है और जहां स्वधा शब्द के साथ दिया गया अन्न एवं तृप्ति है, वहां मुझे अमर बनाओ तथा इंद्र के लिए अपना रस नीचे गिराओ. (१०)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! In the loka in which the recognized and prayable Indradi Dev lives, where the knower of all is the place of the sun and where there is food and fulfillment given with the word 'Swadha', make me immortal and drop your juice down for Indra. (10)
यत्रा॑न॒न्दाश्च॒ मोदा॑श्च॒ मुदः॑ प्र॒मुद॒ आस॑ते । काम॑स्य॒ यत्रा॒प्ताः कामा॒स्तत्र॒ माम॒मृतं॑ कृ॒धीन्द्रा॑येन्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! जिस लोक में आनंद, मोह और सुख रहते हैं व जहां सब अभिलाषाएं पूरी हो जाती हैं, वहां मुझे मरणरहित बनाओ एवं इंद्र के लिए अपना रस नीचे गिराओ. (११)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! In the people in which there is joy, infatuation and happiness and where all the desires are fulfilled, make me deathless and drop your juice down for Indra. (11)
