प्र धारा॑ अस्य शु॒ष्मिणो॒ वृथा॑ प॒वित्रे॑ अक्षरन् । पु॒ना॒नो वाच॑मिष्यति ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इन शक्तिशाली सोम की धाराएं बिना श्रम के ही दशापवित्र पर गिर रही हैं, सोम निचुड़ते समय ध्वनि करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The currents of these powerful Mons are falling on the dashapavitra without labour, the soms make a sound while they are lying. (1)
इन्दु॑र्हिया॒नः सो॒तृभि॑र्मृ॒ज्यमा॑नः॒ कनि॑क्रदत् । इय॑र्ति व॒ग्नुमि॑न्द्रि॒यम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ऋत्विजों द्वारा दशापवित्र पर शुद्ध किए जाते हुए दीप्तिशाली सोम शब्द करते हैं तथा इंद्रसंबंधी ध्वनि करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The radiant som words are made pure on the dashapavittra by the ritvijas and make the indrarshi sound. (2)
आ नः॒ शुष्मं॑ नृ॒षाह्यं॑ वी॒रव॑न्तं पुरु॒स्पृह॑म् । पव॑स्व सोम॒ धार॑या ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम अपनी धाराओं से हमारे विरोधी लोगों को हराने वाला, संतानयुक्त व बहुतों द्वारा चाहने योग्य बल क्षरित करो. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You must defeat our opponents with your currents, the offspring and the force that many desire. (3)
प्र सोमो॒ अति॒ धार॑या॒ पव॑मानो असिष्यदत् । अ॒भि द्रोणा॑न्या॒सद॑म् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
निचोड़े जाते हुए सोम द्रोणकलश में जाने के लिए दशापवित्र को पार करके टपकते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
While being squeezed, som crosses the dashapavitra and drips to go to dronakalash. (4)
अ॒प्सु त्वा॒ मधु॑मत्तमं॒ हरिं॑ हिन्व॒न्त्यद्रि॑भिः । इन्द॒विन्द्रा॑य पी॒तये॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरे रंग के एवं अत्यंत नशीले सोम! तुम जल में रहते हो. लोग इंद्र को पिलाने के लिए तुम्हें पत्थरों से कूटते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O green and extremely intoxicating Mon! You live in the water. People beat you with stones to make Indra drink. (5)
सु॒नोता॒ मधु॑मत्तमं॒ सोम॒मिन्द्रा॑य व॒ज्रिणे॑ । चारुं॒ शर्धा॑य मत्स॒रम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! तुम मधुर रस वाले सुंदर व नशीले सोम को इंद्र के लिए निचोड़ो. इसे पीकर इंद्र हमें बल देंगे. (६)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! You squeeze the beautiful and intoxicating mon with sweet juices to Indra. By drinking it Indra will give us strength. (6)
