पवस्व देव आयुषगिन्द्रं गच्छतु ते मदः । वायुमा रोह धर्मणा ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप का रस मददायी हो कर इंद्र तक जाए. आप का रस शक्तिमान हो कर वायु तक पहुंचने की कृपा करे. आप पवित्र हैं. आप यजमान को आयुष्मान बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. (१)
EN English Translation
O Mon! Your juice should be intoxicating and go to Indra. Please be strong and reach the air. You are holy. Please make the host Ayushmann. (1)
पवमान नि तोशसे रयिँ सोम श्रवाय्यम् । इन्दो समुद्रमा विश ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र व संतुष्टिदायक हैं. आप दुष्टों को दंड देने की कृपा कीजिए. हम आप का आह्वान करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure and gratifying. Please punish the wicked. We call upon you. (2)
अपघ्नन्पवसे मृधः क्रतुवित्सोम मत्सरः । नुदस्वादेवयुं जनम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र हैं. आप यज्ञ की क्रियाविधि जानने वाले हैं. आप ईष्यालुओं और नास्तिकों को दूर करने की कृपा कीजिए. आप का प्रभाव देवताओं जैसा (दिव्य) है. (३)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are holy. You are going to know the procedure of yajna. Please remove the gods and atheists. Your influence is like the gods (divine). (3)
अभी नो वाजसातमँ रयिमर्ष शतस्पृहम् । इन्दो सहस्रभर्णसं तुविद्युम्नं विभासहम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप तेजस्वी हैं. आप हमें सैकड़ों लोगों द्वारा चाहा गया धन प्रदान करने की कृपा कीजिए. आप द्वारा दिए गए धन से हम हजारों लोगों का भरणपोषण करने में समर्थ हो सकें. आप हमें तेजस्वी और यशस्वी बनाने की कृपा कीजिए. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are stunning. Please give us the money desired by hundreds of people. With the money you give, we can be able to sustain thousands of people. Please make us stunning and successful. (4)
वयं ते अस्य राधसो वसोर्वसो पुरुस्पृहः । नि नेदिष्ठतमा इषः स्याम सुम्ने ते आध्रिगो ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! हम आप का आश्रय चाहते हैं. आप सभी के द्वारा चाहे जाते हैं. आप हमें जो अन्नधन प्रदान करते हैं, उस से हम सुखी बनें. आप सूर्य के साथ वास करने वाले हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Mon! We want your shelter. You go by everyone. May we be happy with the food you give us. You are going to live with the sun. (5)
परि स्य स्वानो अक्षरिदिन्दुरव्ये मदच्युतः । धारा य ऊर्ध्वो अध्वरे भ्राजा न याति गव्ययुः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सोमरस श्रेष्ठ व तेजस्वी है. यज्ञ में उस की धाराओं का प्रयोग किया जाता है. चमकने वाले सोमरस की ऊर्ध्व धारा गतिमान के रूप में यज्ञ में काम आती है. सोमरस को स्वाभाविक रूप से परिशुद्ध किया जाता है. (६)
EN English Translation
Someras is superior and brilliant. Its streams are used in the yajna. The upward stream of the shining someras is used in the yagna as a dynamic. Somers is naturally purified. (6)
पवस्व सोम महान्त्समुद्रः पिता देवानां विश्वाभि धाम ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप पवित्र, रसीले व पालक हैं. देवताओं के सभी धामों को अपने दिव्य रस से परिपूर्ण करने की कृपा कीजिए. (७)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are pure, succulent and spinach. Please fill all the dhams of the gods with your divine juice. (7)
शुक्रः पवस्व देवेभ्यः सोम दिवे पृथिव्यै शं च प्रजाभ्यः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप चमकीले हैं. आप देवताओं के लिए बहिए. सोमरस स्वर्गलोक, पृथ्वीलोक और समस्त प्रजा के लिए सुखकारी होने की कृपा करें. (८)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You're bright. You flow for the gods. May Someras be happy for heaven, earth and all subjects. (8)
दिवो धर्त्तासि शुक्रः पीयूषः सत्ये विधर्मन्वाजी पवस्व ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! आप बलवान, चमकीले, अमृत के समान व स्वर्गलोक के धर्ता (धारण कर्ता) हैं. आप सत्य रूपी यज्ञ में प्रवाहित होने की कृपा कीजिए. (९)
EN English Translation
O Mon! You are strong, bright, like nectar and the dharta (possessor) of heaven. Please flow in the yajna of truth. (9)
