इम इन्द्राय सुन्विरे सोमासो दध्याशिरः । ताँ आ मदाय वज्रहस्त पीतये हरिभ्यां याह्योक आ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप वज्र धारण करने वाले हैं. आप दही मिला कर तैयार किए गए इस सोमरस को पीने के लिए अपने घोड़ों से यज्ञ मंडप में पधारिए. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to wear thunderbolts. You come to the Yagya Mandap with your horses to drink this someras prepared by mixing curd. (1)
इम इन्द्र मदाय ते सोमाश्चिकित्र उकिथनः । मधोः पपान उप नो गिरः शृणु रास्व स्तोत्राय गिर्वणः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप की प्रसन्नता के लिए खास तौर से साफ कर के मधुर सोमरस को तैयार किया है. आप हमारी प्रार्थना की वाणी को सुनिए. आप हमें मनचाहे फल दीजिए. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! For your happiness, you have specially prepared the sweet somersa by cleaning it. Listen to the voice of our prayer. You give us the results you want. (2)
आ त्वा३द्य सबर्दुघाँ हुवे गायत्रवेपसम् । इन्द्रं धेनुँ सुदुघामन्यामिषमुरुधारामरङ्कृतम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप उस गाय के समान शोभा पा रहे हैं जो बहुत दूध देने वाली है, जिस की चाल प्रशंसा करने योग्य है, जो आसानी से दुहने योग्य है, जो विशेष लक्षणों वाली है, जिस के स्तनों से दूध की कई धाराएं बहती हैं. आप शीघ्र पधारिए. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are adorned like a cow that is very milking, whose gait is praiseworthy, which is easily milkable, which has special symptoms, from whose breasts many streams of milk flow. You come soon. (3)
न त्वा बृहन्तो अद्रयो वरन्त इन्द्र वीडवः । यच्छिक्षसि स्तुवते मावते वसु न किष्टदा मिनाति ते ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! बड़ेबड़े पर्वत भी आप को नहीं डिगा सकते. आप हम पूजकों को जो धन देते हैं, उस धन को कोई नहीं रोक सकता है. (४)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Even big mountains can't deter you. No one can stop the money you give to us worshippers. (4)
क ईं वेद सुते सचा पिबन्तं कद्वयो दधे । अयं यः पुरो विभिनत्योजसा मन्दानः शिप्र्यन्धसः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सोम यज्ञ में एक ही जगह सोमरस पीने वाले आप को कौन (नहीं) जानता है. आप कितना अन्न धारण करने वाले हैं, यह भी कौन जानता है? सोमरस पी कर प्रसन्न होने वाले इंद्र अपने बल से शत्रुओं के नगरों को नष्ट कर देते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Who (does not) know you who drinks Someras at the same place in Som Yagya. Who also knows how much food you are going to wear? Indra, who is pleased to drink Someras, destroys the cities of enemies with his strength. (5)
यदिन्द्र शासो अव्रतं च्यावया सदसस्परि । अस्माकमँशुं मघवन्पुरुस्पृहं वसव्ये अधि बर्हय ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप यज्ञ में विघ्न डालने वालों को दंड देते हैं. आप दुष्टों को दंड दीजिए. आप धनवान हैं. आप हमारे घरों में सोमरस बढ़ाइए. (६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You punish those who obstruct the yajna. You punish the wicked. You are rich. You increase somers in our homes. (6)
त्वष्टा नो दैव्यं वचः पर्जन्यो ब्रह्मणस्पतिः । पुत्रैर्भ्रातृभिरदितिर्नु पातु नो दुष्टरं त्रामणं वचः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
त्वष्टा देवताओं के शिल्पी (कारीगर) हैं. पर्जन्य देव बरसात के स्वामी हैं. ब्रह्मणस्पति देवता अपने बेटों और भाइयों के साथ हमारी रक्षा करें. देवताओं की माता अदिति हमारी रक्षा करें. अदिति दुःख दूर करने वाली और रक्षा करने वाली हमारी स्तुतियों से हम पर कृपा करें. (७)
EN English Translation
Tvashta is the shilpi (artisan) of the gods. Parjanya Dev is the swami of rain. May the Brahmanaspati deity protect us along with his sons and brothers. May Aditi, the mother of gods, protect us. Aditi, may be kind to us with our praises that remove sorrow and protect us. (7)
कदा च न स्तरीरसि नेन्द्र सश्चसि दाशुषे । उपोपेन्नु मघवन्भूय इन्नु ते दानं देवस्य पृच्यते ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप अहिंसक हैं. आप हवि देने वाले यजमान पर कृपा रखते हैं. आप प्रकाशमान हैं. आप की कृपा हमें प्राप्त होती है. (८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are non-violent. You are kind to the host who gives havi. You are shining. We get your grace. (8)
युङ्क्ष्वा हि वृत्रहन्तम हरी इन्द्र परावतः । अर्वाचीनो मघवन्त्सोमपीतय उग्र ऋष्वेभिरा गहि ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप वृत्रासुर का नाश करने वाले हैं. आप अपने हरि नामक घोड़े को रथ में जोतिए. आप धनवान व बलवान हैं. आप सुंदर मरुद्गणों के साथ स्वर्गलोक से यहां पधारिए. (९)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to destroy Vritrasura. You plough your horse named Hari in the chariot. You are rich and strong. You come here from heaven with beautiful deserts. (9)
त्वामिदा ह्यो नरोऽपीप्यन्वज्रिन्भूर्णयः । स इन्द्र स्तोमवाहस इह श्रुध्युप स्वसरमा गहि ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! आप वज्र धारण करने वाले हैं. यज्ञ करने वाले यजमानों ने आप को आज भी और पहले भी सोमरस भेंट किया है. आप यज्ञ मंडप में पधारिए. स्तोत्र पढ़ने वाले यजमानों के स्तोत्र सुनिए. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are going to wear thunderbolts. The hosts who performed the yajna have presented you with Someras even today and before. You come to the Yagya Mandap. Listen to the psalms of the hosts who read the psalms. (10)
