हे अग्नि! आप हविवाहक, प्रकाशमान, ज्ञानवान हैं. जैसे रथ निर्धारित जगह ले जाता है, वैसे ही आप जिनजिन देवताओं के लिए जोजो वस्तु समर्पित की जाती है, उसे उनउन देवताओं तक पहुंचाते हैं. आप सर्वज्ञाता हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! You are a married, enlightening, knowledgeable person. Just as the chariot takes the designated place, so you convey the thing that is dedicated to the jindevas to those gods. You are omniscient. (1)

हे अग्नि! आप हमारे समीप हैं. आप रक्षक, कल्याणकारी, संरक्षक व उपासना के योग्य हैं. (२)

O agni! You are close to us. You are protector, benefactor, protector and worthy of worship. (2)

हे अग्नि! आप महान व रत्न धारण करते हैं. आप सूर्य जैसे हैं और यजमानों को सौभाग्यवान बनाते हैं. (३)

इंद्र और अन्य सभी देवों की मदद से ऋषिगण इस भुवन को अपने अनुशासन (वश) में रखते हैं. इस से संसार में सुख बना रहता है. (६)

With the help of Indra and all other gods, the sages keep this Bhuvan in their discipline (subdued). This keeps happiness in the world. (6)

हे इंद्र! जैसे छोटे पथ राजपथ से मिल जाते हैं, वैसे ही आप की कृपा से सभी को धन की राह मिलती है. (७)

O Indra! Just as small paths meet Rajpath, so by your grace, everyone gets the path of wealth. (7)

हमें देवहित प्राप्त हों. हमें अन्न व बल प्राप्त हो. हम शतायु हों. हम प्रसन्न रहें. हमें सुवीर (श्रेष्ठ वीर) संतान मिले. (८)

Let us get god's interest. We get food and strength. We are centenarians. May we be happy. We got suvir (superior heroic) children. (8)
ऊर्जा मित्रो वरुणः पिन्वतेडाः पीवरीमिषं कृणुही न इन्द्र ॥ (९)
