ये बा॒हवो॒ या इष॑वो॒ धन्व॑नां वी॒र्याणि च । अ॒सीन्प॑र॒शूनायु॑धं चित्ताकू॒तं च॒ यद्धृ॒दि । सर्वं॒ तद॑र्बुदे॒ त्वम॒मित्रे॑भ्यो दृ॒शे कु॑रूदा॒रांश्च॒ प्र द॑र्शय ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारे योद्धाओं के जो बाण, जो भुजाएं और बल है, तलवारें और फरसारूपी आयुध, चित्त में संकल्पित शत्रुओं को मारना कार्य है, हे अर्बुद ऋषि के पुरुषार्थ! तुम यह सब हमारे शत्रुओं को दिखलाओ. शत्रुओं को डसने के लिए हमें अंतरिक्ष में विचरण करने वाले राक्षसों और पिशाचों को दिखाओ. (१)

The arrows of our warriors, which are arms and force, swords and arms in the form of fur, are the work of killing the enemies resolved in the mind, O effort of The Sage Arbud! Show all this to our enemies. Show us the monsters and vampires roaming in space to bite the enemies. (1)
उत्ति॑ष्ठत॒ सं न॑ह्यध्वं॒ मित्रा॒ देव॑जना यू॒यम् । संदृ॑ष्टा गु॒प्ता वः॑ सन्तु॒ या नो॑ मि॒त्राण्य॑र्बुदे ॥ (२)

हे मित्रो अर्थात् हमारी विजय के प्रदानशील देवगणो! तुम सेना की इस छावनी से विजय प्राप्ति के लिए प्रार्थना करो. आप के द्वारा दिए हुए हमारे योद्धा आप के द्वारा रक्षित हैं. हे अर्बुद सर्प! हमारे जो मित्र हैं जो हमारे शत्रुओं के साथ युद्ध करने के लिए आए हैं, उन के तुम अंग बनो. (२)
EN English Translation
O friends, that is, the giving gods of our victory! Pray for the victory of the army from this cantonment. Our warriors given by you are protected by you. O arbud serpent! Be a part of our friends who have come to fight with our enemies. (2)
उत्ति॑ष्ठत॒मा र॑भेथामादानसंदा॒नाभ्या॑म् । अ॒मित्रा॑णां॒ सेना॑ अ॒भि ध॑त्तमर्बुदे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अर्बुदि सर्प! तुम और निर्बुद इस स्थान से चले जाओ. तुम यहां से दूर जाओ. तथा युद्ध करो. तुम आदान और संदान नाम की रस्सियों से शत्रुओं की सेना को बांधो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Arbudi serpent! You and Nirbud leave this place. You get away from here. And fight. You tie the army of enemies with ropes named Input and Sandan. (3)
अर्बु॑दि॒र्नाम॒ यो दे॒व ईशा॑नश्च॒ न्यर्बुदिः । याभ्या॑म॒न्तरि॑क्ष॒मावृ॑तमि॒यं च॑ पृथि॒वी म॒ही । ताभ्या॒मिन्द्र॑मेदिभ्याम॒हं जि॒तमन्वे॑मि॒ सेन॑या ॥ (४)

अर्बुदि, ईशान और न्यर्बुदि नाम के जो देव है, उन के द्वारा आकाश और विशाल पृथ्वी को ढक लिया है. स्वर्ग और धरती को व्याप्त कर के स्थित एवं इंद्र के मित्र अर्बुदि और न्यर्बुदि के द्वारा जीती हुई सेना का मैं अनुगमन करूं. (४)
EN English Translation
The gods named Arbudi, Ishan and Nyarbudi have covered the sky and the vast earth. Let me follow the army conquered by Indra's friends Arbudi and Nyarbudi, who are situated by spreading heaven and earth. (4)
उत्ति॑ष्ठ॒ त्वं दे॑वज॒नार्बु॑दे॒ सेन॑या स॒ह । भ॒ञ्जन्न॒मित्रा॑णां॒ सेनां॑ भो॒गेभिः॒ परि॑ वारय ॥ (५)

हे देव जाति से संबंधित अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम अपनी सेना के साथ उठो. इस के बाद तुम शत्रुओं की सेनाओं का वध करते हुए अपने सर्प शरीरों के द्वारा उन की आंखें बंद कर लो. (५)
EN English Translation
O serpent named Arbudi belonging to the jati of God! You get up with your army. After this, while killing the armies of enemies, close their eyes with your serpent bodies. (5)
स॒प्त जा॒तान्न्यर्बुद उदा॒राणां॑ समी॒क्षय॑न् । तेभि॒ष्ट्वमाज्ये॑ हु॒ते सर्वै॒रुत्ति॑ष्ठ॒ सेन॑या ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे न्यर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! पहले बताए हुए आंखों को बंद करने वाले सब शरीरों के शुत्रओं को दिखाते हुए तुम घृत एवं आज्य के होने पर उन सब के द्वारा जाते हुए शत्रुओं को उन सब को दिखाओ जो उन की आंखों को बंद कर देते हैं. तुम उन सब के साथ हमारी सेना के संग उठो. (६)
EN English Translation
O serpent named Nyarbudi! Showing the sources of all the bodies that close the eyes mentioned earlier, you should go through all those who close their eyes to the enemies when you are angry and aajya. You get up with all of them with our army. (6)
प्र॑तिघ्ना॒नाश्रु॑मु॒खी कृ॑धुक॒र्णी च॑ क्रोशतु । वि॑के॒शी पुरु॑षे ह॒ते र॑दि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (७)

हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम्हारे द्वारा काटे जाने पर हमारे शत्रु पुरुष के मर जाने पर उस की पत्नी छाती पीटती हुई, आंसू बहाती हुई, गहनों से शून्य कानां वाली, बाल बिखराए हुए रोए. (७)

O serpent named Arbudi! When our enemy man died when you cut him, his wife cried, beating his chest, shedding tears, with no hair cut from jewelry, hair scattered. (7)
सं॒कर्ष॑न्ती क॒रूक॑रं॒ मन॑सा पु॒त्रमि॒च्छन्ती॑ । पतिं॒ भ्रात॑र॒मात्स्वान्र॑दि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (८)

हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! काटने के कारण शरीर में विष फैल जाने पर शत्रु की पत्नी हाथ मलती हुई विष के नाश के लिए अपने पुत्र की इच्छा करती हुई, इस के बाद पति की भी इच्छा करती हुई तथा विष दूर करने के लिए अपने संबंधियों की इच्छा करें. (८)

O serpent named Arbudi! When the poison spreads in the body due to the bite, the enemy's wife wishes her son to destroy the poison, after this, the husband also wishes and wishes his relatives to remove the poison. (8)
अ॒लिक्ल॑वा जाष्कम॒दा गृध्राः॑ श्ये॒नाः प॑त॒त्त्रिणः॑ । ध्वाङ्क्षाः॑ श॒कुन॑यस्तृप्यन्त्व॒मित्रे॑षु समी॒क्षय॑न्रदि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (९)

हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम्हारे द्वारा हमारे शत्रुओं को काटे जाने पर धृष्ट पक्षी, शरीर को कष्ट देने वाले पक्षी, गिद्ध, बाज तथा अन्य मांस खाने वाले पक्षी और कौवे, जो हमारे शत्रुओं का मांस खाने की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं, वे तृप्त हों. (९)

O serpent named Arbudi! May the audacious birds, the birds that hurt the body, vultures, hawks and other meat-eating birds and crows, who are waiting to eat the flesh of our enemies, be satisfied when you cut our enemies. (9)
अथो॒ सर्वं॒ श्वाप॑दं॒ मक्षि॑का तृप्यतु॒ क्रिमिः॑ । पौरु॑षे॒येऽधि॒ कुण॑पे रदि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (१०)

हे अर्बुदि! तुम्हारे द्वारा काटे जाने पर हमारे शत्रुओं के शरीर में जो घाव हो जाते हैं, उन के शरीर को खा कर मांसभक्षी पशु, मक्खियां और कीड़े तृप्त हों. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Arbudi! Meat-eating animals, flies and insects should be satisfied by eating the bodies of the wounds that are incurred in the bodies of our enemies when you bite them. (10)
आ गृ॑ह्णीतं॒ सं बृ॑हतं प्राणापा॒नान्न्य॑र्बुदे । नि॑वा॒शा घोषाः॒ सं य॑न्त्व॒मित्रे॑षु समी॒क्षय॑न्रदि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (११)

हे न्यर्बुदि तथा अर्बुदि नाम के सर्पो! तुम हमारे शत्रुओं के प्राण और अपान को ग्रहण करो. तुम्हारे द्वारा हमारे शत्रुओं को काटे जाने पर उन्हें देखने वालों के द्वारा दुःख भरे स्वर उच्चारण किए जाएं. (११)

O serpents named Nyarbudi and Arbudi! You take the life and soul of our enemies. When you cut off our enemies, sad tones should be uttered by those who see them. (11)
उद्वे॑पय॒ सं वि॑जन्तां भिया॒मित्रा॒न्त्सं सृ॑ज । उ॑रुग्रा॒हैर्बा॑ह्व॒ङ्कैर्विध्या॑मित्रान्न्यर्बुदे ॥ (१२)

हे न्यर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम हमारे शत्रुओं को कंपित करो. तुम्हारे भय के कारण वे अपने स्थान से भाग जाएं. इस के बाद तुम हमारे शत्रुओं के पैरों और हाथों को बांध कर मारो. (१२)
EN English Translation
O serpent named Nyarbudi! You stagger our enemies. They may run away from their place because of your fear. After this, you tie the feet and hands of our enemies and kill them. (12)
मुह्य॑न्त्वेषां बा॒हव॑श्चित्ताकू॒तं च॒ यद्धृ॒दि । मैषा॒मुच्छे॑षि॒ किं च॒न र॑दि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम्हारे खाए जाने पर उन शत्रुओं की भुजाएं निष्क्रिय हो जाएं. उन के मन में जो भी भावनाएं हैं, वे भी मोहित हो जाएं. हमारे शत्रुओं की जो रथ, घोड़ा हाथी आदि सेना है, वह भी शेष न बचे. (१३)

O serpent named Arbudi! When you eat, the arms of those enemies become inactive. Whatever feelings they have in their mind, they should also be fascinated. The chariot, horse, elephant, etc. army of our enemies are also not left. (13)
प्र॑तिघ्ना॒नाः सं धा॑व॒न्तूरः॑ पटू॒रावा॑घ्ना॒नाः । अ॑घा॒रिणी॑र्विके॒श्यो रुद॒त्यः पुरु॑षे ह॒ते र॑दि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अर्बुदि! तुम्हारे द्वारा जिन के पतियों को काटा गया है. हमारे उन शत्रुओं की पत्नियां अपने हाथों से अपने मुख और सीने को पीटती हुई, केश बिखेरे हुए उन मृत पुरुषों के समीप शीघ्र जाएं. (१४)

O Arbudi! Those whose husbands have been cut off by you. The wives of those enemies of ours should soon go to those dead men, beating their mouths and chests with their hands, spreading their hair. (14)
श्वन्वतीरप्स॒रसो॑ रूपका उ॒तार्बु॑दे । अ॑न्तःपा॒त्रे रेरि॑हतीं रि॒शां दु॑र्णिहितै॒षिणी॑म् । सर्वा॒स्ता अ॑र्बुदे॒ त्वम॒मित्रे॑भ्यो दृ॒शे कु॑रूदा॒रांश्च॒ प्र द॑र्शय ॥ (१५)

हे अर्बुदि! तुम हमारे शत्रुओं की माया के द्वारा निर्मित ऐसी अप्सराओं को दिखाओ, जिन के साथ शिकारी कुत्ते हों. तुम उन्हें ऐसी गायों को दिखाओ जो पात्र को बारबार चाट रही हों. तुम उन्हें उल्कापात आदि अदभुत अपशकुन दिखाओ. (१५)

O Arbudi! Show us such nymphs created by the Maya of our enemies, with whom there are hunting dogs. You show them cows that are licking the vessel again and again. You show them amazing omens like meteor etc. (15)
ख॒डूरे॑ऽधिचङ्क्र॒मां खर्वि॑कां खर्ववा॒सिनी॑म् । य उ॑दा॒रा अ॒न्तर्हि॑ता गन्धर्वाप्स॒रस॑श्च॒ ये स॒र्पा इ॑तरज॒ना रक्षां॑सि ॥ (१६)

हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम हमारे शत्रुओं को माया के द्वारा निर्मित ऐसे छोटे प्राणियों को दिखाओ. जो आकाश में चलफिर रहे हौँ और धीमी आवाज कर रहे हों. (१६)

O serpent named Arbudi! Show our enemies such little creatures created by Maya. Those who are walking in the sky and making a low sound. (16)
चतु॑र्दंष्ट्राञ्छ्या॒वद॑तः कु॒म्भमु॑ष्काँ॒ असृ॑ङ्मुखान् । स्व॑भ्य॒सा ये चो॑द्भ्य॒साः ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो यक्ष, राक्षस आदि अपनी माया से छिपे रहते हैं, उन काले रंग वालों और चार दांतों वालों को हमारे शत्रुओं को दिखाओ. जो राक्षस अनेक रूपों के कारण भयानक हैं, उन्हें भी तुम हमारे शत्रुओं को दिखाओ. (१७)

Show our enemies those who are hidden from their maya, those black colored and four-toothed. Show the demons which are terrible due to many forms, you also show them to our enemies. (17)
उद्वे॑पय॒ त्वम॑र्बुदे॒ऽमित्रा॑णाम॒मूः सिचः॑ । जयां॑श्च जि॒ष्णुश्चा॒मित्राँ॒ जय॑ता॒मिन्द्र॑मेदिनौ ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! विष की अधिकता के कारण हमारे शत्रुओं की जो सेनाएं दुखी हैं, उन्हें कंपित करो. हे विजय प्राप्त करने वाले अर्बुदि और न्यर्बुदि नाम के सर्पो! तुम हमारे शत्रुओं को पराजित करते हुए विजयी बनो एवं इंद्र के साथ मिल कर हमें विजयी बनाओ. (१८)

O serpent named Arbudi! Shake the armies of our enemies who are unhappy due to the excess of poison. O serpents named Arbudi and Nyarbudi who conquered! You defeat our enemies and become victorious and together with Indra make us victorious. (18)
प्रब्ली॑नो मृदि॒तः श॑यां ह॒तोऽमित्रो॑ न्यर्बुदे । अ॑ग्निजि॒ह्वा धू॑मशि॒खा जय॑न्तीर्यन्तु॒ सेन॑या ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे न्यर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! हमारे शत्रु तुम्हारे द्वारा काटे जाने पर प्राण हीन हो कर सोऐं. तुम्हारे द्वारा माया के बल से उत्पन्न की गई अग्नि की ज्वालाएं और धुएं की शिखाएं हमारे शन्रुओं की सेना को पराजित करती हुई हमारे साथ चलें. (१९)

O serpent named Nyarbudi! Let our enemies sleep lifeless when they are bitten by you. Let the flames of agni and the crests of smoke created by you by the force of Maya go with us, defeating the army of our shanrus. (19)
तया॑र्बुदे॒ प्रणु॑त्ताना॒मिन्द्रो॑ हन्तु॒ वरं॑वरम् । अ॒मित्रा॑णां॒ शची॒पति॒र्मामीषां॑ मोचि॒ कश्च॒न ॥ (२०)

हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम्हारे द्वारा युद्ध भूमि से भगाए गए हमारे जो शत्रु हैं, उन में जो श्रेष्ठ हैं, उन्हें शची के पति इंद्र मारें. वे हमारे किसी शत्रु को न छोड़ें. (२०)
EN English Translation
O serpent named Arbudi! May Shachi's husband Indra kill those who are superior among our enemies who have been driven away from the battlefield by you. They should not spare any of our enemies. (20)
उत्क॑सन्तु॒ हृद॑यान्यू॒र्ध्वः प्रा॒ण उदी॑षतु । शौ॑ष्का॒स्यमनु॑ वर्तताम॒मित्रा॒न्मोत मि॒त्रिणः॑ ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारे शत्रुओं के हृदय उन के शरीर से निकल जाएं. उन की प्राण वायु भी उन के शरीर से निकल जाए. मुख सूख जाने से हमारे शत्रु मर जाएं. हमारे मित्रों का मुख न सूखे. (२१)

Let the hearts of our enemies go out of their bodies. Their life and air should also come out of their body. Our enemies die due to dry mouth. Our friends' faces should not be dry. (21)
ये च॒ धीरा॒ ये चाधी॑राः॒ परा॑ञ्चो बधि॒राश्च॒ ये । त॑म॒सा ये च॑ तूप॒रा अथो॑ बस्ताभिवा॒सिनः॑ । सर्वां॒स्ताँ अ॑र्बुदे॒ त्वम॒मित्रे॑भ्यो दृ॒शे कु॑रूदा॒रांश्च॒ प्र द॑र्शय ॥ (२२)

हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! हमारे शत्रुओं में जो वीर कायर, युद्ध से भागने वाले, भय के कारण कुछ न सुनने वाले, बिना सींग के पशुओं के समान हानि न पहुंचाने वाले और भेड़ों के समान शब्द करने वाले हैं, उन सब को अपनी माया से पराजित होने वाला बनाओ. हे सर्प! तुम हमारे शन्रुओं को अपनी माया के द्वारा उल्कापात आदि अपशकुन दिखाओ. (२२)

O serpent named Arbudi! Make all of our enemies who are brave cowards, who run away from war, hear nothing out of fear, do not harm like animals without horns and say words like sheep, make them all defeated by your maya. O serpent! Show our shanrus a bad omens like meteorites through your maya. (22)
अर्बु॑दिश्च॒ त्रिष॑न्धिश्चा॒मित्रा॑न्नो॒ वि वि॑ध्यताम् । यथै॑षामिन्द्र वृत्रह॒न्हना॑म शचीपते॒ऽमित्रा॑णां सहस्र॒शः ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विषंधि अर्थात् सेना को मोहित करने वाला देव और अर्बुदि नाम का सर्प हमारे शत्रुओं को अनेक प्रकार से चोट पहुंचाए. हे शचीपति इंद्र! हम जिस प्रकार उन शन्रुओं से संबंधित लोगों को हजारों की संख्याओं में मारे, हमें ऐसी शक्ति दो. (२३)

Vishandhi means the god who fascinates the army and the snake named Arbudi hurt our enemies in many ways. This is Shakhipati Indra! Give us such power the way we kill people belonging to those saints in thousands. (23)
वन॒स्पती॑न्वानस्प॒त्यानोष॑धीरु॒त वी॒रुधः॑ । ग॑न्धर्वाप्स॒रसः॑ स॒र्पान्दे॒वान्पु॑ण्यज॒नान्पि॒तॄन् । सर्वां॒स्ताँ अ॑र्बुदे॒ त्वम॒मित्रे॑भ्यो दृ॒शे कु॑रूदा॒रांश्च॒ प्र द॑र्शय ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम हमारे शत्रुओं को अपनी माया से वृक्षों, वृक्षों के विकारों, गेहूं, जौ आदि फसलों, वन के वृक्षों गंधर्वो और अप्सराओं को दिखाओ. तुम उन्हें उल्कापात आदि अद्भुत अपशकुन दिखाओ. (२४)

O serpent named Arbudi! Show our enemies with your love to trees, diseases of trees, wheat, barley, crops, forest trees, gandharvas and nymphs. You show them amazing awestrucks etc. (24)
ई॒शां वो॑ म॒रुतो॑ दे॒व आ॑दि॒त्यो ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पतिः॑ । ई॒शां व॒ इन्द्र॑श्चा॒ग्निश्च॑ धा॒ता मि॒त्रः प्र॒जाप॑तिः । ई॒शां व॒ ऋष॑यश्चक्रुर॒मित्रे॑षु समी॒क्षय॑न्रदि॒ते अ॑र्बुदे॒ तव॑ ॥ (२५)

हे शत्रुओ! मरुत देव और ब्रह्मणस्पति तुम्हारे शिक्षक हों. इंद्र, अग्नि, धाता, मित्र और प्रजापति तुम्हारा नियंत्रण करने वाले हों. हे अर्बुदि नाम के सर्प! तुम्हारे द्वारा हमारे शत्रुओं को काटे जाने पर ऋषिगण उन्हें देखते हुए उन के शिक्षक बनें. (२५)

O enemies! May Marut Dev and Brahmanspati be your teachers. Indra, Agni, Dhata, Mitra and Prajapati should be your control. O serpent named Arbudi! When your enemies are cut off, the sages should look at them and become their teachers. (25)
तेषां॒ सर्वे॑षा॒मीशा॑ना॒ उत्ति॑ष्ठत॒ सं न॑ह्यध्वं॒ मित्रा॒ देव॑जना यू॒यम् । इ॒मं सं॑ग्रा॒मं सं॒जित्य॑ यथालो॒कं वि ति॑ष्ठध्वम् ॥ (२६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारे मित्र देवगण उन सभी शत्रुओं के शिक्षक होते हुए उठें. ये सभी उन की शिक्षा के लिए तैयार हो जाएं. हे शत्रुओ! देवगण इस संग्राम को जीत कर शत्रुओं का विनाश कर के अपने स्थान को जाएं. (२६)

Our friend Devgan should rise up as a teacher of all those enemies. All of them should be ready for their education. O enemies! Devgan won this battle and destroyed the enemies and went to his place. (26)
