ये त्रि॑ष॒प्ताः प॑रि॒यन्ति॒ विश्वा॑ रू॒पाणि॒ बिभ्र॑तः । वा॒चस्पति॒र्बला॒ तेषां॑ त॒न्वो॑ अ॒द्य द॑धातु मे ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो रजोगुण, तमोगुण एवं सतोगुण तीन गुण और पृथ्वी, जल, तेज, वायु, आकाश, तन्मात्रा एवं अहंकार सात पदार्थ दिव्य रूप में सर्वत्र भ्रमण करते हैं, वाणी के स्वामी ब्रह्म उन तत्त्वों और पदार्थों की दिव्य शक्ति मुझे दें. (१)
EN English Translation
The three qualities of Rajogun, Tamogun and Satogun and earth, water, tej, air, sky, tanmatra and ego, the seven substances travel everywhere in divine form, brahma, the swami of speech, give me the divine power of those elements and substances. (1)
वि॒द्मा श॒रस्य॑ पि॒तरं॑ प॒र्जन्यं॒ भूरि॑धायसम् । वि॒द्मो ष्व॑स्य मा॒तरं॑ पृथि॒वीं भूरि॑वर्पसम् ॥ (१)

जड़ चेतन सब का पोषण कर्ता एवं सब को धारण करने वाला बादल बाण का पिता है तथा सभी तत्त्वों से युक्त पृथ्वी इस बाण की माता है. तात्पर्य यह है कि बादल और पृथ्वी दोनों से बाण अर्थात् शक्ति की उत्पत्ति होती है. यह बात हम जानते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The root consciousness is the father of the cloud arrow that nourishes all and the cloud that holds all is the father of the arrow and the earth with all the elements is the mother of this arrow. This means that both the cloud and the earth produce arrows, that is, power. That's what we know. (1)
वि॒द्मा श॒रस्य॑ पि॒तरं॑ प॒र्जन्यं॑ श॒तवृ॑ष्ण्यम् । तेना॑ ते त॒न्वे॑३ शं क॑रं पृथि॒व्यां ते॑ नि॒षेच॑नं ब॒हिष्टे॑ अस्तु॒ बालिति॑ ॥ (१)

हम सैकड़ों सामर्थ्यो वाले एवं बाण के पिता पर्जन्य अर्थात् बादल को जानते हैं. हे मूत्ररोगी! मैं तेरे मूत्रादि रोगों को समाप्त करता हूं. शरीर में रखा हुआ मूत्र बाहर निकल कर पृथ्वी पर गिरे. (१)

We know Parjanya, the father of hundreds of powers and arrows, that is, the cloud. O urologist! I will put an end to your urinary diseases. The urine kept in the body came out and fell on the earth. (1)
अ॒म्बयो॑ य॒न्त्यध्व॑भिर्जा॒मयो॑ अध्वरीय॒ताम् । पृ॑ञ्च॒तीर्मधु॑ना॒ पयः॑ ॥ (१)

यज्ञ करने के इच्छुक जन अपनी माताओं और बहनों के समान जल, सोमरस, दूध एवं घृत आदि यज्ञ सामग्री ले कर आते हैं. (१)

People who want to perform yajna bring yagya material like water, someras, milk and ghee etc. like their mothers and sisters. (1)
आपो॒ हि ष्ठा म॑यो॒भुव॒स्ता न॑ ऊ॒र्जे द॑धातन । म॒हे रणा॑य॒ चक्ष॑से ॥ (१)

हे जल! आप सभी प्रकार का सुख देने वाले हैं. अन्न आदि सुखों का उपभोग करने के इच्छुक हम सब को आप उन के उपभोग की शक्ति प्रदान करें. आप हमें महान एवं रमणीय आनंद स्वरूप ब्रह्म के साक्षात्कार का सामर्थ्य दें. (१)

O water! You are going to give all kinds of happiness. May you give all of us the power to consume them to all those who want to consume food etc. May you give us the power to interview Brahma, the great and delightful form of bliss. (1)
शं नो॑ दे॒वीर॒भिष्ट॑य॒ आपो॑ भवन्तु पी॒तये॑ । शं योर॒भि स्र॑वन्तु नः ॥ (१)

दिव्यगुणों वाला जल सभी ओर से हमारा कल्याण करने वाला हो. जल हमारे चारों ओर कल्याण की वर्षा करे एवं पीने के लिए उपलब्ध हो. (१)
EN English Translation
May the water with divine qualities benefit us from all sides. May water rain welfare around us and be available for drinking. (1)
स्तु॑वा॒नम॑ग्न॒ आ व॑ह यातु॒धानं॑ किमी॒दिन॑म् । त्वं हि दे॑व वन्दि॒तो ह॒न्ता दस्यो॑र्ब॒भूवि॑थ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! हम जिन देवों की स्तुति करते हैं, उन्हें तुम हमारे समीप लाओ एवं हमें मारने की इच्छा से घूमने वाले राक्षसों को हम से दूर भगाओ. हे दिव्य गुणों वाले अग्नि! हमारे नमस्कार आदि से प्रसन्न तुम दस्युजनों की हत्या कर देते हो. (१)

O agni! Bring the gods we praise closer to us and drive away the demons who roam around with the desire to kill us. O agni with divine qualities! Pleased with our greetings etc., you kill bandits. (1)
इ॒दं ह॒विर्या॑तु॒धाना॑न्न॒दी फेन॑मि॒वा व॑हत् । य इ॒दं स्त्री पुमा॒नक॑रि॒ह स स्तु॑वतां॒ जनः॑ ॥ (१)

मेरे द्वारा अग्नि आदि देवों को दिया हुआ घृत आदि हवि दुष्ट राक्षसों को यहां से उसी प्रकार दूर हटा दे, जिस प्रकार नदी की धारा फेन को एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान तक ले जाती है. मेरे प्रति अभिचार, जादू, टोना, टोटका करने वाले स्त्रीपुरुष अपने मनोरथ में असफल हो कर यहां मेरी शरण में आएं और मेरी स्तुति करें. EN English Translation
May the disgusting adi havi given by me to the gods of agni etc. remove the evil demons away from here in the same way as the stream of the river takes the foam from one place to another. Men who do acts of affection, magic, sorcery, tricks towards me should fail in their desire and come here to my shelter and praise me. (1)
अ॒स्मिन्वसु॒ वस॑वो धारय॒न्त्विन्द्रः॑ पू॒षा वरु॑णो मि॒त्रो अ॒ग्निः । इ॒ममा॑दि॒त्या उ॒त विश्वे॑ च दे॒वा उत्त॑रस्मि॒ञ्ज्योति॑षि धारयन्तु ॥ (१)

भांतिभांति की धन संपत्ति की कामना करने वाले इस पुरुष को वसु, इंद्र, पूषा, वरुण, मित्र, अग्नि एवं विश्वे देव धन प्रदान करें तथा ये देव इसे उत्तम ज्योति संपन्न बनाएं. (१)
EN English Translation
May Vasu, Indra, Pusha, Varuna, Mitra, Agni and Vishwa Dev give wealth to this man who wishes for wealth of kindness and make it a good light. (1)
अ॒यं दे॒वाना॒मसु॑रो॒ वि रा॑जति॒ वशा॒ हि स॒त्या वरु॑णस्य॒ राज्ञः॑ । तत॒स्परि॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒ शाश॑दान उ॒ग्रस्य॑ म॒न्योरुदि॒मं न॑यामि ॥ (१)

इंद्रादि देवों में वरुण पापियों को दंड देने वाले हैं. इस प्रकार के यह वरुण सब से उत्कृष्ट हैं. सभी पदार्थ तेजस्वी वरुण देव के वश में हैं. इसलिए मैं वरुण की स्तुति संबंधी मंत्रों से शक्ति प्राप्त कर के वरुण देव के प्रचंड कोप के कारण उत्पन्न जलोदर रोग वाले इस पुरुष को रोगमुक्त करता हूं. (१)

Among the Indradi devas, Varuna is the one who punishes sinners. This type of Varun is the most outstanding. All substances are under the control of the stunning Varun Dev. Therefore, I get strength from the mantras related to varuna's praise and cure this man with ascites disease caused by the tremendous wrath of Varun Dev. (1)
वष॑ट्ते पूषन्न॒स्मिन्त्सूता॑वर्य॒मा होता॑ कृणोतु वे॒धाः । सिस्र॑तां॒ नार्यृ॒तप्र॑जाता॒ वि पर्वा॑णि जिहतां सूत॒वा उ॑ ॥ (१)

हे पूषा देव! सुख उत्पन्न करने वाले इस यज्ञ कर्म में प्राणि समूह के प्रेरक देव अर्यमा होता बन कर आप को हवि प्रदान करें. संपूर्ण जगत् के निर्माता वेधा देव आप को वषट्कार के द्वारा हवि प्रदान करें. आप की कृपा से यह गर्भिणी नारी प्रसव संबंधी कष्ट से छुटकारा पा कर जीवित संतान को जन्म दे. सुखपूर्वक प्रसव के लिए इस के संधि बंध शिथिल हो जाएं. O God of God! In this yajna karma that produces happiness, become the inspiring god of the animal group, Aryama, and give you strength. May Vedha Dev, the creator of the whole world, give you the blessings through the shatakar. By your grace, this pregnant woman should get rid of childbirth related pain and give birth to a living child. For a happy delivery, its joint bonds should be relaxed. (1)
ज॑रायु॒जः प्र॑थ॒म उ॒स्रियो॒ वृषा॑ वातभ्र॒जा स्त॒नय॑न्नेति वृ॒ष्ट्या । स नो॑ मृडाति त॒न्व॑ ऋजु॒गो रु॒जन्य एक॒मोज॑स्त्रे॒धा वि॑चक्र॒मे ॥ (१)

नक्षत्रों को पराजित कर के प्रकट होने वाले, संसार में सब से प्रथम उत्पन्न एवं वायु के समान शीधघ्रगामी सूर्य बादलों को गर्जन करने के लिए प्रेरित करते हुए वर्षा के साथ आते हैं. वे सूर्य त्रिदोष से उत्पन्न रोग आदि का विनाश करते हुए हमारी रक्षा करें. सीधे चलने वाले जो सूर्य एक हो कर भी अपने तेज को तीन प्रकार से प्रकाशित करते हैं, वे हमें सुख प्रदान करें. Those who appear by defeating the constellations, the first born in the world and like the wind, the fast-moving sun comes with rain, inducing the clouds to roar. They should protect us by destroying diseases etc. caused by surya tridosh. May the straight-moving sun, which illuminates its brightness in three ways despite being one, give us happiness. (1)
नम॑स्ते अस्तु वि॒द्युते॒ नम॑स्ते स्तनयि॒त्नवे॑ । नम॑स्ते अ॒स्त्वश्म॑ने॒ येना॑ दू॒डाशे॒ अस्य॑सि ॥ (१)

भग॑मस्या॒ वर्च॒ आदि॒ष्यधि॑ वृ॒क्षादि॑व॒ स्रज॑म् । म॒हाबु॑ध्न इव॒ पर्व॑तो॒ ज्योक्पि॒तृष्वा॑स्ताम् ॥ (१)

मनुष्य जिस प्रकार वृक्ष से माला बनाने हेतु फूल तोड़ता है, उसी प्रकार मैं इस स्त्री के भाग्य और तेज को स्वीकार करता हूं. धरती में भीतर तक धंसा हुआ पर्वत जिस प्रकार स्थिर रहता है, उसी प्रकार यह बुरे भाग्य वाली स्त्री चिरकाल तक पिता के घर रहे अर्थात् यह कभी पति का मुख न देखे. (१)
EN English Translation
Just as a man plucks flowers to make garlands from a tree, I accept the fate and glory of this woman. Just as the mountain buried deep inside the earth remains stable, in the same way, this woman with bad luck should stay in the father's house forever, that is, she should never see the face of her husband. (1)
सं सं स्र॑वन्तु॒ सिन्ध॑वः॒ सं वाताः॒ सं प॑त॒त्रिणः॑ । इ॒मं य॒ज्ञं प्र॒दिवो॑ मे जुषन्तां संस्रा॒व्ये॑ण ह॒विषा॑ जुहोमि ॥ (१)

नदियां हमारे अनुकूल बहें, पवन हमारे अनुकूल चले एवं पक्षी हमारी इच्छा के अनुसार (गति करें). पुरातन देव मेरे इस यज्ञ को स्वीकार करें, क्योंकि मैं घी, दूध आदि का संग्रह कर के यह यज्ञ कर रहा हूं. (१)

Rivers flow in our favour, the wind moves in our favour and birds move according to our wishes. The ancient God should accept this yajna of mine, because I am doing this yajna by collecting ghee, milk, etc. (1)
ये ऽमा॑वा॒स्यां॑३ रात्रि॑मु॒दस्थु॑र्व्रा॒जम॒त्त्रिणः॑ । अ॒ग्निस्तु॒रीयो॑ यातु॒हा सो अ॒स्मभ्य॒मधि॑ ब्रवत् ॥ (१)

मनुष्यों का भक्षण करने वाले जो राक्षस अमावस्या की अंधेरी रात में इधर उधर घूमते हैं. चौथे अग्नि देव उन राक्षसों एवं चोरों का संहार कर के हमारी रक्षा करें. (१)

The demons who eat humans roam around in the dark night of Amavasya. May the fourth agni god kill those demons and thieves and protect us. (1)
अ॒मूर्या यन्ति॑ यो॒षितो॑ हि॒रा लोहि॑तवाससः । अ॒भ्रात॑र इव जा॒मय॒स्तिष्ठ॑न्तु ह॒तव॑र्चसः ॥ (१)

स्त्रियों की लाल रक्त प्रवाहिनी जो नाड़ियां रोग के कारण सदा प्रवाहित होती रहती हैं, वे रोग नष्ट हो जाने के कारण इस प्रकार रुक जाएं, जिस प्रकार बिना भाइयों वाली बहनें ससुराल न जा कर अपने पिता के घर में ही रुक जाती हैं. (१)

The red blood flow of women, which always flows due to the disease, should stop due to the destruction of the disease, just as sisters without brothers do not go to their in-laws and stay in their father's house. (1)
निर्ल॒क्ष्म्यं॑ लला॒म्यं॑१ निररा॑तिं सुवामसि । अथ॒ या भ॒द्रा तानि॑ नः प्र॒जाया॒ अरा॑तिं नयामसि ॥ (१)

हम ललाट के असौभाग्य सूचक चिल्ल को शत्रु के समान अपने शरीर से दूर करते हैं. जो सौभाग्य सूचक चिल्ल हैं, वे हमारी संतान को प्राप्त हों. हम ने अपने शरीर से बुरे चिल्ल दूर किए हैं, वे हमारे शत्रुओं को प्राप्त हों. (१)

We remove the incompetent signal of the forehead from our body like an enemy. May our children get the good fortune that are indicative chillas. We have removed bad chills from our bodies, let them be received by our enemies. (1)
मा नो॑ विदन्विव्या॒धिनो॒ मो अ॑भिव्या॒धिनो॑ विदन् । आ॒राच्छ॑र॒व्या॑ अ॒स्मद्विषू॑चीरिन्द्र पातय ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अस्त्रशस्त्र आदि से ताड़ित करने वाले जो शात्ु हैं, वे हमें प्राप्त न कर सकें. सामने आ कर हिंसा करने वाले हमें न पा सकें. हे परम ऐश्वर्य संपन्न इंद्र देव! शत्रुओं द्वारा बारबार छोड़े गए अनेक प्रकार के मुखों वाले जो बाण हैं, उन्हें हम से दूर स्थान में गिराओ. (१)
EN English Translation
Those who chastise with weapons etc. cannot get us. Those who come forward and do violence cannot find us. O Supreme God of Epulence Indra! Drop the arrows with many types of faces repeatedly left by the enemies in a place far away from us. (1)
अदा॑रसृद्भवतु देव सोमा॒स्मिन्य॒ज्ञे म॑रुतो मृ॒डता॑ नः । मा नो॑ विददभि॒भा मो अश॑स्ति॒र्मा नो॑ विदद्वृजि॒ना द्वेष्या॒ या ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम देव! हमारा शत्रु अपने स्थान से भागा हुआ होने के कारण कभी भी अपनी स्त्री के पास न पहुंच सके. हे मरुत् देव! इस यज्ञ में आप हमारी रक्षा करें. सामने से आता हुआ तेजस्वी शत्रु मुझे प्राप्त न कर सके. कीर्ति और उन्नति के मार्ग में विघ्न डालने वाले पाप भी हमें न पा सकें. (१)
EN English Translation
O Som Dev! Our enemy could never reach his wife because he was running away from his place. O God of Death! Protect us in this yajna. The stunning enemy coming from the front could not get me. Even sins that hinder the path of fame and progress cannot be found by us. (1)
स्व॑स्ति॒दा वि॒शां पति॑र्वृत्र॒हा वि॑मृ॒धो व॒शी । वृषेन्द्रः॑ पु॒र ए॑तु॒ नः सो॑म॒पा अ॑भयंक॒रः ॥ (१)

विनाश रहित, क्षोभ न देने वाले, सभी प्रजाओं के पालनकर्ता, वृत्र नामक राक्षस अथवा जल के आधार मेघ को नष्ट करने वाले, शत्रुओं की विशेष रूप से हिंसा करने वाले, सभी प्राणियों को वश में रखने वाले, मनोकामनाओं की वर्षा करने वाले एवं सोमरस को पीने वाले इंद्र देव हमारे लिए अभय करने वाले बन कर संग्राम में हमारे नेता बनें. Indra Dev, who is free from destruction, does not give trouble, the sustainer of all the subjects, the demon named Vritra or destroys the cloud, who destroys the base cloud of water, who especially violences the enemies, who controls all beings, showers desires and drinks Someras, becomes our leader in the struggle. (1)
अनु॒ सूर्य॒मुद॑यतां हृद्द्यो॒तो ह॑रि॒मा च॑ ते । गो रोहि॑तस्य॒ वर्णे॑न॒ तेन॑ त्वा॒ परि॑ दध्मसि ॥ (१)

हे रोग ग्रसित पुरुष! तेरे हृदय को संताप पहुंचाने वाला हृदय रोग एवं कामला आदि रोग से उत्पन्न तेरे शरीर का पीलापन सूर्य की ओर चला जाए. हे रोगी! गाय के लाल वर्ण से पहचाने जाने वाले के रूप में मैं तुझे स्वस्थ कराता हूं. (१)

O diseased man! Let the yellowness of your body, which causes anger to your heart, go towards the sun, caused by heart disease and diseases like libido. O patient! As someone who is identified with the red color of the cow, I make you healthy. (1)
न॑क्तंजा॒तासि॑ ओषधे॒ रामे॒ कृष्णे॒ असि॑क्नि च । इ॒दं र॑जनि रजय कि॒लासं॑ पलि॒तं च॒ यत् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरिद्रा! हलदी नामक ओषधि! तू रात में उत्पन्न हुई है. इसलिए तू शरीर की सफेदी दूर करने में समर्थ है. हे भृंगराज (भागरा) नामक ओषधि! रंग काला कर देने वाली इंद्रावारुणि नामक ओषधि! एवं असित वर्ण करने वाली नील नामक ओषधि! तुम कुष्ठ रोग के कारण विकृत रंग वाले इस अंग को अपने रंग में रंग दो. वृद्धावस्था के कारण जो बाल श्वेत हो गए हैं, उन्हें भी अपने रंग में रंग दो. O Haridra! A medicine called turmeric! You were born at night. That is why you are able to remove the whiteness of the body. O medicine called Bhringraj (Bhagara)! A medicine called Indravaruni that turns the color black! And a medicine called Indigo that describes asit! You paint this organ with distorted color due to leprosy in its own color. Color the hair that has become white due to old age in its color. (1)
सु॑प॒र्णो जा॒तः प्र॑थ॒मस्तस्य॒ त्वं पि॒त्तमा॑सिथ । तदा॑सु॒री यु॒धा जि॒ता रू॒पं च॑क्रे॒ वन॒स्पती॑न् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ओषधि! सब से पहले गरुड़ उत्पन्न हुए. तू उन के शरीर में पित्त दोष के रूप में थी. आसुरी माया ने गरुड़ से युद्ध कर के पित्त को जीत लिया एवं विजय के कारण प्राप्त उस पित्त को ओषधि का रूप दे दिया. (१)

Oh my god! Garuda was the first to arise. You were in the form of pitta dosha in their body. Asuri Maya fought against Garuda and conquered the pitta and gave the form of medicine to the bile obtained due to victory. (1)
यद॒ग्निरापो॒ अद॑हत्प्र॒विश्य॒ यत्राकृ॑ण्वन्धर्म॒धृतो॒ नमां॑सि । तत्र॑ त आहुः पर॒मं ज॒नित्रं॒ स नः॑ संवि॒द्वान्परि॑ वृङ्ग्धि तक्मन् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जीवन को कष्ट पूर्ण बनाने वाले ज्वर! जिस अनिने ने प्रवेश कर के जलों को जलाया अर्थात् गरम किया, यश, दान आदि धार्मिक कृत्य करने वालों ने जिस अग्नि में होम किया है, उसी उत्तम अनिने में से तेरा जन्म बताया गया है. यह सब जानता हुआ तू गरम जल से स्नान करने वाले हमारे शरीर को त्याग कर अन्ने में प्रवेश कर. O fever that makes life painful! The one who entered and burnt the waters, that is, heated, the agni in which those who do religious acts like fame, charity, etc., have done home, your birth is said to be from the same good anina. Knowing all this, you leave our body bathing with hot water and enter the anna. (1)
आ॒रे॑३ ऽसा॑व॒स्मद॑स्तु हे॒तिर्दे॑वासो असत् । आ॒रे अश्मा॒ यमस्य॑थ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! आप की कृपा से शत्रु द्वारा प्रयुक्त खड्ग आदि आयुध हमारे शरीर से दूर हो जाएं. हे शत्रुओ! तुम यंत्र आदि के द्वारा जो पत्थर फेंकते हो, वे भी हम से दूर रहें. (१)

O God! By your grace, the weapons used by the enemy should be removed from our body. O enemies! The stones that you throw through instruments etc. should also stay away from us. (1)
अ॒मूः पा॒रे पृ॑दा॒क्व॑स्त्रिष॒प्ता निर्ज॑रायवः । तासा॑म्ज॒रायु॑भिर्व॒यम॒क्ष्या॒वपि॑ व्ययामस्यघा॒योः प॑रिप॒न्थिनः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सांपों की ये इक्कीस जातियां देवों के समान बुढ़ापे से रहित हैं एवं नागलोक में निवास करती हैं. इन सांपों की केंचुली जरायु के समान उन से लिपटी रहती है. सांपों की उस केंचुली के द्वारा हम दूसरों का अहित सोचने वाले शत्रुओं की आंखों को ढकते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
These twenty-one species of snakes are devoid of old age like gods and live in Naglok. The earthworms of these snakes are wrapped around them like a newborn. Through that earthworm of snakes, we cover the eyes of enemies who think others are harmed. (1)
उप॒ प्रागा॑द्दे॒वो अ॒ग्नी र॑क्षो॒हामी॑व॒चात॑नः । दह॒न्नप॑ द्वया॒विनो॑ यातु॒धाना॑न्किमी॒दिनः॑ ॥ (१)

राक्षसों के विनाशक और रोगों को दूर करने वाले अग्नि देव उन्हें नष्ट करने के लिए उन के समीप चलें. अग्नि देव मायामय, सौम्य, हिंसक एवं भयावह रूप धारण करने वाले, दूसरों के दोष खोजने वाले, पीड़ादायक एवं परेशान करने वाले राक्षसों को भस्म करते हुए इस पुरुष के समीप आ रहे हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Agni Dev, the destroyer of demons and removes diseases, should walk near them to destroy them. Agni Dev is approaching this man, devouring demons who are elusive, gentle, violent and frightening, seeking faults of others, suffering and disturbing demons. (1)
अ॑भीव॒र्तेन॑ म॒णिना॒ येनेन्द्रो॑ अभिवावृ॒धे । तेना॒स्मान्ब्र॑ह्मणस्पते॒ ऽभि रा॒ष्ट्राय॑ वर्धय ॥ (१)

हे ब्रह्मणस्पति! समृद्धि एवं शक्ति प्रदान करने वाली जिस मणि को धारण कर के इंद्र उन्मत्त हुए हैं, उसी मणि के द्वारा शत्रुओं से पीड़ित हमारे राष्ट्र की संपन्नता बढ़ाओ. आप की कृपा से हम संपन्न जनों द्वारा सुरक्षित राष्ट्र में शत्रुओं के भय से रहित हों. (१)
EN English Translation
O Brahmanaspati! Increase the prosperity of our nation suffering from enemies through the same gem that Indra has become frantic by wearing the gem that gives prosperity and strength. By your grace, let us be free from the fear of enemies in a nation protected by the affluent. (1)
विश्वे॑ देवा॒ वस॑वो॒ रक्ष॑ते॒ममु॒तादि॒त्या जा॑गृ॒त यू॒यम॒स्मिन् । मेमं सना॑भिरु॒त वान्यना॑भि॒र्मेमं प्राप॒त्पौरु॑षेयो व॒धो यः ॥ (१)

हे विश्वै देव! वसु एवं आदित्य देवो! दीर्घ आयु की कामना करने वाले इस पुरुष की रक्षा करो एवं दीर्घ आयु की कामना करने वाले इस पुरुष के विषय में सावधान रहो. इस का सजातीय अथवा विजातीय शत्रु इस के पास तक न आ सके. कोई भी इस की हिंसा करने में समर्थ न हो. (१)

O God of the universe! Vasu and Aditya Devo! Protect this man who desires long life and be careful about this man who wishes for long life. Its homogeneous or heterogeneous enemies could not even come to it. No one should be able to do this violence. (1)
