वर्षा आदि के द्वारा प्रजाओं का पालन करने से सूर्य प्रजापति हैं. मैं प्रजापति सूर्य के कवच से तथा कश्यप ऋषि की ज्योति और तेज से घिरा हुआ हूं, सुरक्षित हूं. मैं जीर्ण अर्थात् वृद्ध हो कर भी दृढ़ अंगों वाला हूं तथा अनेक प्रकार के भोगों को भोगता हूं. मैं दीर्घ आयु प्राप्त करता हुआ तथा लौकिक और वेदों का कार्य करता हुआ सूर्य देव की कृपा का पात्र रहूं. (२७)

Surya Prajapati is by following the subjects through rain etc. I am surrounded by the armor of Prajapati Sun and the light and glory of Sage Kashyapa, I am safe. I am old and have strong limbs and enjoy many types of enjoyments. May I be worthy of the grace of the Sun God while attaining a long life and doing the work of cosmic and Vedas. (27)
