अ॒दो यद॑व॒धाव॑त्यव॒त्कमधि॒ पर्व॑तात् । तत्ते॑ कृणोमि भेष॒जं सुभे॑षजं॒ यथास॑सि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मुंजवान पर्वत से उतर कर जो मूंज धरती पर वर्तमान है, हे मूंज! तेरे उस अग्रभाग से मैं ओषधि बनाता हूं, क्योंकि तू उत्तम जड़ीबूटी है. (१)
EN English Translation
Coming down from Mount Munjwan, the moonj that is present on the earth, O Moonj! From that forearm of yours I make medicine, for you are the best herb. (1)
आद॒ङ्गा कु॒विद॒ङ्गा श॒तं या भे॑ष॒जानि॑ ते । तेषा॑मसि॒ त्वमु॑त्त॒मम॑नास्रा॒वमरो॑गणम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ओषधि! प्रयोग के तुरंत बाद रोग समाप्त करो एवं बहुत से रोगों का विनाश करो. तुम से संबंधित अनगिनत जड़ीबूटियां हैं, उन में तुम उत्तम हो. तुम अतिसार आदि रोग दूर करने वाली एवं इन के मूल कारणों का विनाश करने वाली हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O medicine! Eliminate the disease immediately after the experiment and destroy many diseases. There are countless herbs related to you, in them you are the best. You are the remover of diseases like diarrhea and destroy the root causes of them. (2)
नी॒चैः ख॑न॒न्त्यसु॑रा अरु॒स्राण॑मि॒दं म॒हत् । तदा॑स्रा॒वस्य॑ भेष॒जं तदु॒ रोग॑मनीनशत् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्राणों का अपहरण करने वाले राक्षस एवं शरीर को निर्बल बनाने वाले रोग विशाल घाव के पकने के स्थान को नीचे से विदीर्ण करते हैं, यह महती ओषधि उस का समूल विनाश करती है तथा अतिसार आदि रोगों को जड़ से मिटा देती है. (३)
EN English Translation
The demons that hijack the life and the diseases that weaken the body pierce the place of ripening of the huge wound from below, this great medicine completely destroys it and eliminates diseases like diarrhea etc. from the root. (3)
उ॑प॒जीका॒ उद्भ॑रन्ति समु॒द्रादधि॑ भेष॒जम् । तदा॑स्रा॒वस्य॑ भेष॒जं तदु॒ रोग॑मशीशमत् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बांमी बनाने वाली दीमक पृथ्वी के नीचे स्थित जलराशि से रोग निवारक जड़ीबूटी को उखाड़ती है. वह अतिसार आदि रोगों की ओषधि है और उन्हें शांत करने वाली है. (४)
EN English Translation
The termite that makes the banamy uproots the disease preventive herb from the water body located under the earth. She is a medicine for diseases like diarrhea etc. and is going to calm them down. (4)
अ॑रु॒स्राण॑मि॒दं म॒हत्पृ॑थि॒व्या अध्युद्भृ॑तम् । तदा॑स्रा॒वस्य॑ भेष॒जं तदु॒ रोग॑मनीनशत् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
घाव को पकाने वाली यह जड़ीबूटी अर्थात् मिट्टी खेत से खोद कर लाई गई है. यह अतिसार रोगों की ओषधि है और उन्हें शांत करती है. (५)
EN English Translation
This wound-cooking herb i.e. soil has been dug from the field. It is a medicine for diarrheal diseases and calms them down. (5)
शं नो॑ भवन्त्वा॒प ओष॑धयः शि॒वाः । इन्द्र॑स्य॒ वज्रो॒ अप॑ हन्तु र॒क्षस॑ आ॒राद्विसृ॑ष्टा॒ इष॑वः पतन्तु र॒क्षसा॑म् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ओषशधियों के रूप में प्रयोग किए जाते हुए जल एवं ओषधियां हमारे रोगों को शांत करने वाले हैं. इंद्र का वज्र रोग उत्पन्न करने वाले राक्षसों का विनाश करे. मनुष्यों को पीड़ा पहुंचाने के निमित्त प्रयुक्त राक्षसों के रोग रूपी बाण हम से दूर गिरें अर्थात् रोग हम से दूर रहें. (६)
EN English Translation
Water and medicines used as medicines are going to calm our diseases. May Indra's thunderbolt destroy the demons who cause disease. Let the disease-like arrows of demons used to hurt humans fall away from us, that is, diseases should stay away from us. (6)
