आ या॑हि सुषु॒मा हि त॒ इन्द्र॒ सोमं॒ पिबा॑ इ॒मम् । एदं ब॒र्हिः स॑दो॒ मम॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम ने सोमरस तैयार कर लिया है. तुम यहां हमारे यज्ञ में आओ तथा इन बिछी हुई कुशाओं पर बैठ कर सोमरस को पियो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We have prepared some of them. Come here to our yajna and sit on these scattered cushions and drink Somras. (1)
आ त्वा॑ ब्रह्म॒युजा॒ हरी॒ वह॑तामिन्द्र के॒शिना॑ । उप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि नः शृणु ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम्हारे घोड़े हमारे मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ ही तुम्हारे रथ में जुड़ जाते हैं. वे तुम्हें तुम्हारे मन चाहे स्थान पर ले जाते हैं. तुम्हारे वे घोड़े तुम्हें हमारे यज्ञ में लाएं, जिस से तुम हमारे आह्वान को सुन सको. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Your horses join your chariot with our chanting of mantras. They take you to the place you want. May those horses of yours bring you into our sacrifice, so that you may hear our call. (2)
ब्र॒ह्माण॑स्त्वा व॒यं यु॒जा सो॑म॒पामि॑न्द्र सो॒मिनः॑ । सु॒ताव॑न्तो हवामहे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमारे पास तैयार किया हुआ सोमरस है. हम तुम्हारे सेवक हैं और सोमयाग कर चुके हैं. तुम सोमरस पीते हो, इसलिए हम तुम्हारा आह्वान कर रहे हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We have a prepared somers. We are your servants and have done somayag. You drink somers, so we are invoking you. (3)
इन्द्र॒मिद्गा॒थिनो॑ बृ॒हदिन्द्र॑म॒र्केभि॑र॒र्किणः॑ । इन्द्रं॒ वाणी॑रनूषत ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पूजा संबंधी मंत्रों से इंद्र का पूजन किया जाता है. सामवेद के मंत्रों के गान में भी इंद्र की ही स्तुति है. हमारी वाणी भी इंद्र की ही स्तुति करती है. (४)
EN English Translation
Indra is worshiped with worship-related mantras. Indra is also praised in the singing of the mantras of Samaveda. Our speech also praises Indra. (4)
इन्द्र॒ इद्धर्योः॒ सचा॒ संमि॑श्ल॒ आ व॑चो॒युजा॑ । इन्द्रो॑ व॒ज्री हि॑र॒ण्ययः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वज्र धारण करने वाले इंद्र उपासकों का हित चाहते हैं. इंद्र के घोड़े उन के साथ रहते हैं. हमारे मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ ही वे घोड़े रथ में जोड़े जाते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
Indra, who wears vajra, wants the interest of worshippers. Indra's horses live with them. With our chanting of mantras, those horses are added to the chariot. (5)
इन्द्रो॑ दी॒र्घाय॒ चक्ष॑स॒ आ सूर्यं॑ रोहयद्दि॒वि । वि गोभि॒रद्रि॑मैरयत् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र ने दीर्घ काल तक प्रकाश देने के लिए सूर्य को आकाश में स्थापित किया. सूर्य रूपी इंद्र ने ही अपनी किरणों से मेघों का भेदन किया है. (६)
EN English Translation
Indra installed the sun in the sky to give light for a long time. Indra, the sun-like, has penetrated the clouds with his rays. (6)
