यो अ॑द्रि॒भित्प्र॑थम॒जा ऋ॒तावा॒ बृह॒स्पति॑राङ्गिर॒सो ह॒विष्मा॑न् । द्वि॒बर्ह॑ज्मा प्राघर्म॒सत्पि॒ता न॒ आ रोद॑सी वृष॒भो रो॑रवीति ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्रथम प्रकट होने वाले, मेघों को चीरने वाले, सत्यभाषी आंगिरस अर्थात् अंगिरा गोत्र वाले बृहस्पति हवि प्राप्त करने के अधिकारी हैं. वे पालन कर्ता, आकाश और पृथ्वी में शब्द करने वाले, दो बर्हो अर्थात् मोर के पंखों से सुशोभित, धर्म का पालन करने वाले और वर्षा करने वाले हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The first to appear, the one who cut the clouds, the satya-speaking Angiras, i.e. Jupiter with the Angira tribe, is entitled to receive havi. They are the servitors, the ones who speak in the heavens and the earth, adorned with the wings of the peacock, the follower of dharma, and the rain. (1)
जना॑य चि॒द्य ईव॑ते उ लो॒कं बृह॒स्पति॑र्दे॒वहू॑तौ च॒कार॑ । घ्नन्वृ॒त्राणि॒ वि पुरो॑ दर्दरीति॒ जयं॒ छत्रूं॑र॒मित्रा॑न्पृ॒त्सु साह॑न् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवहूति में संतान को उत्पन्न करने वाले एवं मनुष्यों को प्राप्त होने वाले बृहस्पति मेघों को खंडित करें. वे वृत्र के नगर का विनाश करते हैं. वे शत्रुओं पर विजय प्राप्त करते हुए सेनाओं का सामना करते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
In Devhuti, break the Jupiter clouds that produce children and get human beings. They destroy the city of Vritra. They face the armies while conquering the enemies. (2)
बृह॒स्पतिः॒ सम॑जय॒द्वसू॑नि म॒हो व्र॒जान्गोम॑तो दे॒व ए॒षः । अ॒पः सिषा॑स॒न्त्स्वरप्र॑तीतो॒ बृह॒स्पति॒र्हन्त्य॒मित्र॑म॒र्कैः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बृहस्पति ने गायों से भरी हुई विशाल गोशालाओं तथा धनों पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली है. वे जल देने के लिए स्वर्ग पर चढते हैं तथा मंत्रों के द्वारा शत्रुओं को नष्ट कर देते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Jupiter has conquered huge cowsheds and wealth full of cows. They ascend to heaven to give water and destroy enemies through mantras. (3)
