Kanda 20 • Sukta 98
त्वामिद्धि हवा॑महे सा॒ता वाज॑स्य का॒रवः॑ । त्वां वृ॒त्रेष्वि॑न्द्र॒ सत्प॑तिं॒ नर॑स्त्वां॒ काष्ठा॒स्वर्व॑तः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! स्तुति करने वाले हम अन्न प्राप्ति से संबंधित यज्ञ में तुम्हें ही बुलाते हैं. तुम सज्जनो के रक्षक और जलों को प्रेरित करने वाले हो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Those who praise you call you in the yajna related to the attainment of food. You are the protector of gentlemen and the one who inspires the waters. (1)
स त्वं न॑श्चित्र वज्रहस्त धृष्णु॒या म॒ह स्त॑वा॒नो अ॑द्रिवः । गामश्वं॑ र॒थ्यमिन्द्र॒ सं कि॑र स॒त्रा वाजं॒ न जि॒ग्युषे॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम हमारे द्वारा पूजित हो कर विजय की इच्छा करने वाले नरेश के अश्व, रथ, गाय आदि प्रदान करो. हे इंद्र! तुम अपने हाथों में वज्र धारण करने वाले हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You should be worshiped by us and give horses, chariots, cows etc. of the king who wishes for victory. O Indra! You are going to wear a thunderbolt in your hands. (2)
