यद्दे॑वा देव॒हेड॑नं॒ देवा॑सश्चकृमा व॒यम् । आदि॑त्या॒स्तस्मा॑न्नो यू॒यमृ॒तस्य॒र्तेन॑ मुञ्चत ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि आदि देवो! इंद्रियों के वशीभूत हो कर हम ने जो पाप किया है, हे अदिति पुत्र देवो! तुम यज्ञ संबंधी सत्य के द्वारा उस पाप से हमें बचाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O God of agni! The sin we have committed by being subjugated by the senses, O Aditi son Devo! You save us from that sin through the truth of yajna. (1)
ऋ॒तस्य॒र्तेना॑दित्या॒ यज॑त्रा मु॒ञ्चते॒ह नः॑ । य॒ज्ञं यद्य॑ज्ञवाहसः शिक्षन्तो॒ नोप॑शेकि॒म ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अदिति पुत्र देवो! तुम यज्ञ के द्वारा प्रसन्न करने योग्य हो. तुम यज्ञ संबंधी सत्य के द्वारा इस यज्ञ कार्य द्वारा हमें सभी पापों से मुक्त करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Aditi putra devo! You are worthy of being pleased through yajna. May you free us from all sins through this yajna work through the truth related to yajna. (2)
मेद॑स्वता॒ यज॑मानाः स्रु॒चाज्या॑नि॒ जुह्व॑तः । अ॑का॒मा वि॑श्वे वो देवाः॒ शिक्ष॑न्तो॒ नोप॑ शेकिम ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
चरबी वाले पशु से यज्ञ पूर्ण करते हुए यजमान स्रुच (चमस) के द्वारा यज्ञ में आज्य डालते हैं. हे विश्वे देव! हम कामना रहित हो कर और पाप से डरते हुए पाप के वश में न हों. (३)
EN English Translation
While completing the yajna with a fat animal, the host adds ajya to the yajna through a srucha (chamas). O God of the universe! We should not be possessed by sin without desire and fear of sin. (3)
