वि॒षाणा॒ पाशा॒न्वि ष्याध्य॒स्मद्य उ॑त्त॒मा अ॑ध॒मा वा॑रु॒णा ये । दु॒ष्वप्न्यं॑ दुरि॒तं निःष्वा॒स्मदथ॑ गच्छेम सुकृ॒तस्य॑ लो॒कम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बंधन की देवी निर्त्ऋति! हमारे शरीर के मार्गो को बांधने वाले फंदे की रस्सियों को हम से छुड़ाती हुई हमें मुक्त करो. जो पाश उत्तम, अधम और वरुण से संबंधित हैं, उन्हें हम से अलग करो. बुरे स्वप्न से उत्पन्न पाप के फंदों को भी हम से अलग करो. इन फंदों से छूट कर हम पुण्य के फल के रूप में मिलने वाले लोकों को प्राप्त करें. (१)
EN English Translation
O Goddess of bondage! Free us by removing the ropes of the noose that bind the paths of our body from us. Separate the loops that belong to Uttam, Adham and Varuna from us. Separate the noose of sin created by bad dreams from us. By getting rid of these traps, we should get the worlds that are found as the fruit of virtue. (1)
यद्दारु॑णि ब॒ध्यसे॒ यच्च॒ रज्ज्वां॒ यद्भूम्यां॑ ब॒ध्यसे॒ यच्च॑ वा॒चा । अ॒यं तस्मा॒द्गार्ह॑पत्यो नो अ॒ग्निरुदिन्न॑याति सुकृ॒तस्य॑ लो॒कम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पुरुष! तुम काठ के बंधन में, रस्सी में अथवा धरती के गड्ढे में राजा की आज्ञा से बांधे गए हो. यह गार्हपत्य अग्नि तुम्हें उन बंधनों से छुड़ा कर वह लोक प्राप्त कराएं, जो उत्तम कर्म करने के फल के रूप में मिलता है. (२)
EN English Translation
O man! You are tied in a wooden bond, in a rope or in a pit of the earth by the command of the king. May this agni free you from those bonds and attain the world that comes as the fruit of doing good deeds. (2)
उद॑गातां॒ भग॑वती वि॒चृतौ॒ नाम॒ तार॑के । प्रेहामृत॑स्य यच्छतां॒ प्रैतु॑ बद्धक॒मोच॑नम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विचृत अर्थात् मूल नक्षत्र में उदय या उत्पन्न होने वाली विचृत नाम की तारिकाएं इस बंधे हुए पुरुष को मरने से बचाएं तथा साथ ही बंधन से मुक्त करें. (३)
EN English Translation
The stars of the name Vichrit, which rise or arise in the original nakshatra, save this tied man from dying and at the same time free him from bondage. (3)
वि जि॑हीष्व लो॒कं कृ॑णु ब॒न्धान्मु॑ञ्चासि॒ बद्ध॑कम् । योन्या॑ इव॒ प्रच्यु॑तो॒ गर्भः॑ प॒थः सर्वाँ॒ अनु॑ क्षिय ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बंधन से संबंधित देवता! तुम अनेक प्रकार से आओ और इस स्थान पर बंधे हुए पुरुष को उसके बंधन से छुड़ाओ. हे पुरुष! जिस प्रकार माता के गर्भ से बच्चा बाहर निकल आता है, उसी प्रकार तू बंधन से छूट कर स्वच्छंद रूप से सभी मार्गो पर चल. (४)
EN English Translation
O god related to bondage! You come in many ways and rescue the man bound in this place from his bondage. O man! Just as the child comes out of the mother's womb, in the same way, you should get rid of the bondage and walk freely on all the paths. (4)
