अ॒यं वज्र॑स्तर्पयतामृ॒तस्या॑वास्य रा॒ष्ट्रमप॑ हन्तु जीवि॒तम् । शृ॒णातु॑ ग्री॒वाः प्र शृ॑णातू॒ष्णिहा॑ वृ॒त्रस्ये॑व॒ शची॒पतिः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मेरे द्वारा धारण किया गया, यह दंड इंद्र के वज्र के समान सत्य और यज्ञ के सामर्थ्य से तृप्त हो. यह वज्र हमारे द्वेषी राजा के राष्ट्र का विनाश करे तथा उस की गले की हङ्डियां काट दे. यह गले की धमनियों को भी उसी प्रकार काट दे, जिस प्रकार शचीपति इंद्र ने वृत्र के गले की धमनियां काटी थी. (१)
EN English Translation
This dund worn by me should be satisfied with the power of truth and yajna like Indra's thunderbolt. May this thunderbolt destroy the nation of our enemy malevolent king and cut off his necks. It should also cut the arteries of the throat in the same way as Shachipati Indra cut the arteries of the vritra's throat. (1)
अध॑रोऽधर॒ उत्त॑रेभ्यो गू॒ढः पृ॑थि॒व्या मोत्सृ॑पत् । वज्रे॒णाव॑हतः शयाम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अधिक ऊंचों की अपेक्षा, अतिशय अधोगति वाला एवं धरती में छिपा हुआ धरती से बाहर न निकले, वह इस वज्र के द्वारा घायल हो कर सोता रहे. (२)
EN English Translation
Instead of higher heights, do not come out of the earth with extreme degradation and hidden in the earth, he should sleep injured by this thunderbolt. (2)
यो जि॒नाति॒ तमन्वि॑च्छ॒ यो जि॒नाति॒ तमिज्ज॑हि । जि॑न॒तो व॑ज्र॒ त्वं सी॒मन्त॑म॒न्वञ्च॒मनु॑ पातय ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वञ्र! जो शत्रु हमें हानि पहुंचाता है, उसी के समीप जा. जो हमें हानि पहुंचाता है, उसी को मार. जो शत्रु हमें हानि पहुंचाता है, तू उस के शरीर के भागों को विदीर्ण कर. (३)
EN English Translation
O vanra! Go close to the enemy who harms us. Kill the one who harms us. The enemy who harms us, you scatter the parts of his body. (3)
