इ॒मा यास्ति॒स्रः पृ॑थि॒वीस्तासां॑ ह॒ भूमि॑रुत्त॒मा । तासा॒मधि॑ त्व॒चो अ॒हं भे॑ष॒जं समु॑ जग्रभम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ये जो पृथ्वी आदि तीन लोक हैं, उन में यह पृथ्वी उत्तम है, जिस पर हम स्थित हैं. पृथ्वी की त्वचा के समान ऊपर वर्तमान जो भूमि है, मैं उस पर उत्पन्न ओषधियों का संग्रह करता हूं. (१)
EN English Translation
This earth is the best among the three worlds on which we are located. Like the skin of the earth, I collect the medicines produced on the present land above. (1)
श्रेष्ठ॑मसि भेष॒जानां॒ वसि॑ष्ठं॒ वीरु॑धानाम् । सोमो॒ भग॑ इव॒ यामे॑षु दे॒वेषु॒ वरु॑णो॒ यथा॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे हरिद्रा! तू अमोघ शक्ति के कारण अन्य भेषजों में उसी प्रकार प्रशंसनीय है तथा वीरुधों में मुख्य है, जैसे रात्रि और दिन के काल विभाग के कारण चंद्रमा एवं सूर्य मुख्य हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O Haridra! You are praiseworthy in other disguises because of the unfailing power and are the main of the viruddhas, just as the moon and the sun are the main due to the time division of night and day. (2)
रेव॑ती॒रना॑धृषः सिषा॒सवः॑ सिषासथ । उ॒त स्थ के॑श॒दृंह॑णी॒रथो॑ ह केश॒वर्ध॑नीः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे धनवती ओषधियो! तुम किसी के द्वारा हिंसित नहीं हो. तुम आरोग्य देने के लिए इच्छुक हो, इसलिए मुझे आरोग्य प्रदान करो. तुम केशों को दृढ़ बनाने वाली हो, इसलिए मेरे केशों को दृढ़ करो. (३)
EN English Translation
O rich men! You are not hidden by anyone. You are willing to give health, so give me health. You are going to make my hair strong, so strengthen my hair. (3)
