मा नो॑ देवा॒ अहि॑र्वधी॒त्सतो॑कान्त्स॒हपू॑रुषान् । संय॑तं॒ न वि ष्प॑र॒द्व्यात्तं॒ न सं य॑म॒न्नमो॑ देवज॒नेभ्यः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे विष को शांत करने वाले देवो! सांप हमें और हमारे पुत्र, पौत्र आदि की एवं सेवकों की हिंसा न करे. हमें काटने के लिए सांप का मुंह न खुले. उस का खुला हुआ मुख मंत्र शक्ति के कारण बंद न हो. सर्प विष शांत करने में समर्थ देवों को नमस्कार है. (१)
EN English Translation
O God who calms the poison! Snakes should not do violence to us and our sons, grandsons etc. and servants. Don't open the snake's mouth to bite us. His open mouth should not be closed due to mantra power. Salutations to the gods capable of calming the snake poison. (1)
नमो॑ऽस्त्वसि॒ताय॒ नम॒स्तिर॑श्चिराजये । स्व॒जाय॑ ब॒भ्रवे॒ नमो॒ नमो॑ देवज॒नेभ्यः॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
असित, तिरश्चिराजी, बबेरू और स्वज नामक सर्पो को नमस्कार है. सर्प के विष को शमन करने में समर्थ देवों को नमस्कार है. (२)
EN English Translation
Salutations to serpents named Asit, Tirshchiraji, Baberu and Swaj. Salutations to the gods capable of quenching the poison of the snake. (2)
सं ते॑ हन्मि द॒ता द॒तः समु॑ ते॒ हन्वा॒ हनू॑ । सं ते॑ जि॒ह्वया॑ जि॒ह्वां सम्वा॒स्नाह॑ आ॒स्यम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सांप! मैं तेरे ऊपर वाले और नीचे वाले दांतों को मिलाता हूं. मैं तेरी कोड़ी के ऊपर और नीचे वाले भागों को भी मिलाता हूं. मैं तेरी एक जीभ से दूसरी जीभ को मिलाता हूं. मैं तेरे मुख के ऊपर और नीचे वाले भागों को भी मिलाता हूं. (३)
EN English Translation
O snake! I mix your upper and lower teeth. I also mix the top and bottom parts of your kodi. I mix one of your tongues with the other. I also mix the upper and lower parts of your mouth. (3)
