निर्ह॑स्तः॒ शत्रु॑रभि॒दास॑न्नस्तु॒ ये सेना॑भि॒र्युध॑मा॒यन्त्य॒स्मान् । सम॑र्पयेन्द्र मह॒ता व॒धेन॒ द्रात्वे॑षामघहा॒रो विवि॑द्धः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमें पीड़ित करने वाला शत्रु हाथों की शक्ति से हीन हो जाए. हे इंद्र! जो शत्रु अपनी सेनाओं की सहायता से हमें युद्ध के लिए ललकारते हैं, उन्हें अपने हनन साधन विशाल वज्र से संयुक्त करो. इन शूरों में जो मुझे मृत्यु रूपी दुःख पहुंचाने वाला है, वह अधिक घायल हो कर बुरी दशा को प्राप्त हो. (१)
EN English Translation
The enemy who afflicts us should become inferior to the power of the hands. O Indra! The enemies who challenge us for war with the help of their armies, unite them with your weapons, the huge thunderbolt. In these brave hearts, the one who is going to hurt me in the form of death, he should be more injured and get a bad condition. (1)
आ॑तन्वा॒ना आ॒यच्छ॒न्तोऽस्य॑न्तो॒ ये च॒ धाव॑थ । निर्ह॑स्ताः शत्रवः स्थ॒नेन्द्रो॑ वो॒ऽद्य परा॑शरीत् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शन्रुओ! तुम धनुष पर डोरी चढ़ाते हुए, धनुष को खींचते हुए और बाण फेंकते हुए हमारे सामने आ रहे हो. तुम सब अशक्त हाथों वाले बन जाओ. आज इंद्र तुम्हें आहत करें (२)
EN English Translation
O shanruo! You are coming in front of us, putting a string on the bow, pulling the bow and throwing arrows. You all become weak-handed. May Indra hurt you today (2)
निर्ह॑स्ताः सन्तु॒ शत्र॒वोऽङ्गै॑षां म्लापयामसि । अथै॑षामिन्द्र॒ वेदां॑सि शत॒शो वि भ॑जामहै ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारे शत्रु हाथों की शक्ति से हीन हों. हम उन के अंगों को हर्ष रहित करेंगे. हे इंद्र! इस के पश्चात हम तुम्हारी कृपा से उन शत्रुओं के धनों को विभाजित कर के प्राप्त करें. (३)
EN English Translation
Our enemies should be inferior to the power of hands. We will make their organs joyless. O Indra! After this, we should divide the wealth of those enemies by your grace and get it. (3)
