अ॑भि॒भूर्य॒ज्ञो अ॑भि॒भूर॒ग्निर॑भि॒भूः सोमो॑ अभि॒भूरिन्द्रः॑ । अ॒भ्यहं वि॑श्वाः॒ पृत॑ना॒ यथासा॑न्ये॒वा वि॑धेमा॒ग्निहो॑त्रा इ॒दं ह॒विः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विजय की कामना करने वाले हम लोगों के द्वारा किया हुआ यज्ञ शत्रुओं का पराभव करने वाला हो. यज्ञों को पूर्ण करने वाले अग्नि एवं यज्ञ के साधन सोम शत्रुओं को पराजित करें. इंद्र एवं सभी शत्रु सेनाओं को पराजित करने के इच्छुक हम शत्रु की सभी सेनाओं को जिस कार पराजित करें, उसी के निमित्त संग्राम में विजय के इच्छुक हम हवि का हवन करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The yajna performed by us who wish for victory should be the defeat of the enemies. The means of agni and yajna, who complete the yajnas, defeat the enemies. We perform havan of Havi, who want to win in the battle for the sake of defeating Indra and all the enemy armies, which we want to defeat all the enemy armies. (1)
स्व॒धास्तु॑ मित्रावरुणा विपश्चिता प्र॒जाव॑त्क्ष॒त्रं मधु॑ने॒ह पि॑न्वतम् । बाधे॑थां दू॒रं निरृ॑तिं परा॒चैः कृ॒तं चि॒देनः॒ प्र मु॑मुक्तम॒स्मत् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मेधावी मित्र और वरुण! तुम्हारे लिए दिया गया वह हवि रूप अन्न तुम्हे तृप्ति दे. तुम इस राजा पर प्रजाओं से युक्त बल एवं मधुर रस सींचो. तुम पराजय करने वाली पाप देवी निर््ऋृति को हम से विमुख कर के दूर देश में ले जाओ. तुम हमारे शत्रुओं के द्वारा किया हुआ पाप हम से दूर ले जाओ. (२)
EN English Translation
O meritorious friend and Varun! May that havi form food given for you give you satisfaction. You sprinkle force and sweet juices on this king with people. You should take nirrriti, the sin goddess who defeated, away from us and take her to a distant land. Take away from us the sins committed by our enemies. (2)
इ॒मं वी॒रमनु॑ हर्षध्वमु॒ग्रमिन्द्रं॑ सखायो॒ अनु॒ सं र॑भध्वम् । ग्रा॑म॒जितं॑ गो॒जितं॒ वज्र॑बाहुं॒ जय॑न्त॒मज्म॑ प्रमृ॒णन्त॒मोज॑सा ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सैनिको! अधिक बलशाली एवं परम ऐश्वर्य युक्त इस वीर राजा की वीरता से प्रसन्न बनो एवं इस के लिए युद्ध हेतु तत्पर रहो. हे मरुतो! गांवों को एवं शत्रुओं की गायों को जीतने वाले तथा हाथ में वज्र धारण करने वाले इंद्र की वीरता से प्रसन्न बनो. इंद्र शत्रुओं को जीतने वाले, जयशील एवं अपने बल से शत्रुओं की हिंसा करने वाले हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O soldiers! Be happy with the bravery of this brave king with more strength and ultimate opulence and be ready to fight for it. O Maruto! Be pleased with the bravery of Indra, who conquers the villages and the cows of the enemies and holds a thunderbolt in his hand. Indra is the conqueror of enemies, jaisheel and the one who commits violence against enemies with his own strength. (3)
