यस्ते॒ स्तनः॑ शश॒युर्यो म॑यो॒भूर्यः सु॑म्न॒युः सु॒हवो॒ यः सु॒दत्रः॑ । येन॒ विश्वा॒ पुष्य॑सि॒ वार्या॑णि॒ सर॑स्वति॒ तमि॒ह धात॑वे कः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वाणी की देवी सरस्वती! तेरा जो स्तन शिशु का पोषण करता है, सुख प्रदाता है, दूसरों को सुख देता है, जो सब के द्वारा आह्वान किया जाता है, जो कल्याण के साधन देता है और जिस के द्वारा समस्त धनों का पोषण होता है, अपने इस प्रकार के स्तन को इस जन्मगृहीत करने वाले बालक के पीने योग्य बनाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O Goddess Saraswati of speech! Your breast which nourishes the baby, gives happiness to others, which is called upon by all, who gives the means of welfare and through which all wealth is nourished, make this type of breast potable for this birth-taking child. (1)
