हे इंद्र! तुझ बलशाली के अनुग्रह से अभिमानपूर्ण किरणें नित्य प्रति उषाकाल होने पर प्राणियों को जगा देती हैं. हे कामवर्षी, उग्र, शत्रुओं को हराने वाले बल के दाता एवं पुरातन इंद्र! तुम परम बलशाली मरुतों के साथ मिलकर हमें अन्न दो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! With the grace of your mighty, proud rays awaken beings when they are in constant harmony. O Celestial, the furious, the giver of force to defeat enemies and the ancient Indra! You, together with the most mighty maruts, give us food. (5)
