कङ्क॑तो॒ न कङ्क॒तोऽथो॑ सती॒नक॑ङ्कतः । द्वाविति॒ प्लुषी॒ इति॒ न्य१॒॑दृष्टा॑ अलिप्सत ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अल्पविष, महाविष, जलचारी अरूपविष, दो प्रकार के जलचर एवं थलचर प्राणी, दाहक एवं अदृश्य प्राणी मुझे घेरे हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Me is surrounded by me insatiable, short-term, super-toxin, watery, and terrestrial beings, burning and invisible beings. (1)
अ॒दृष्टा॑न्हन्त्याय॒त्यथो॑ हन्ति पराय॒ती । अथो॑ अवघ्न॒ती ह॒न्त्यथो॑ पिनष्टि पिंष॒ती ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
विषधर जीवों से काटे हुए के पास आकर ओषधि विष का प्रभाव नष्ट करती है एवं दूर जाती हुई भी नष्ट करती है. उसे जब उखाड़ते हैं एवं पीसते हैं, तब भी वह विष का प्रभाव नष्ट करती है. (२)
EN English Translation
Coming to the cut off from venomous organisms, the drug destroys the effect of the poison and also destroys it while going away. Even when it is uprooted and grinded, it destroys the effect of the poison. (2)
श॒रासः॒ कुश॑रासो द॒र्भासः॑ सै॒र्या उ॒त । मौ॒ञ्जा अ॒दृष्टा॑ वैरि॒णाः सर्वे॑ सा॒कं न्य॑लिप्सत ॥ (३)

शर, कुश, दर्भ, सैर्य, मुंज एवं वीरण नामक घासों में छिपे हुए विषधर मुझसे एक साथ लिपट जाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
The poisons hidden in the grasses called Shar, Kush, Darbha, Sairaya, Munj and Veeran cling to me together. (3)
नि गावो॑ गो॒ष्ठे अ॑सद॒न्नि मृ॒गासो॑ अविक्षत । नि के॒तवो॒ जना॑नां॒ न्य१॒॑दृष्टा॑ अलिप्सत ॥ (४)

जब गाएं गोशाला में बैठती हैं, हरिण निवासस्थान में बैठते हैं एवं मनुष्य निद्रा के कारण ज्ञानशून्य होते हैं, उस समय अदृष्ट विषधर आकर मुझसे लिपट जाते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
When cows sit in the goshala, deer sit in abodes and human beings are ignorant because of sleep, at that time the invisible, the unseen, the blind, the voracious ones come and cling to me. (4)
ए॒त उ॒ त्ये प्रत्य॑दृश्रन्प्रदो॒षं तस्क॑रा इव । अदृ॑ष्टा॒ विश्व॑दृष्टाः॒ प्रति॑बुद्धा अभूतन ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे चोरों के समान रात में देखे जाते हैं. वे किसी को दिखाई नहीं देते, पर सारे संसार को देखते रहते हैं. सब लोग उनसे सावधान रहें. (५)
EN English Translation
They are seen at night like thieves. They don't see anyone, but they see the whole world. Everyone should beware of them. (5)
द्यौर्वः॑ पि॒ता पृ॑थि॒वी मा॒ता सोमो॒ भ्रातादि॑तिः॒ स्वसा॑ । अदृ॑ष्टा॒ विश्व॑दृष्टा॒स्तिष्ठ॑ते॒लय॑ता॒ सु क॑म् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सर्पो! आकाश तुम्हारा पिता, धरती माता, सोम भ्राता और अदिति तुम्हारी बहिन है. तुम्हें कोई नहीं देख पाता, पर तुम सबको देखते हो. तुम अपने स्थान में रहो एवं सुखपूर्वक गमन करो. (६)
EN English Translation
O serpent! Akash is your father, Mother Earth, Som Bharata and Aditi is your sister. No one can see you, but you see everyone. Stay in your place and move happily. (6)
ये अंस्या॒ ये अङ्ग्याः॑ सू॒चीका॒ ये प्र॑कङ्क॒ताः । अदृ॑ष्टाः॒ किं च॒नेह वः॒ सर्वे॑ सा॒कं नि ज॑स्यत ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो जंतु स्कंध वाले, अंग वाले, सूची वाले एवं अत्यंत विषधारी हैं, ऐसे अदृष्ट विषधरों का यहां कोई काम नहीं है. तुम सब यहाँ से एक साथ चले जाओ. (७)
EN English Translation
The animals which are winged, limbed, listed and highly toxic, such invisible poisonous have no work here. You all get out of here together. (7)
उत्पु॒रस्ता॒त्सूर्य॑ एति वि॒श्वदृ॑ष्टो अदृष्ट॒हा । अ॒दृष्टा॒न्सर्वा॑ञ्ज॒म्भय॒न्सर्वा॑श्च यातुधा॒न्यः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सारे संसार को देखने वाले एवं अदृष्ट विषधरों को नष्ट करने वाले सूर्य पूर्व दिशा में निकलते हैं. वे सभी अदृष्ट विषधारियों एवं राक्षसों को भयभीत करके भगा देते हैं. (८)
EN English Translation
The suns that see the whole world and destroy the invisible toxins come out in the east direction. They frighten and drive away all the invisible poisons and demons. (8)
उद॑पप्तद॒सौ सूर्यः॑ पु॒रु विश्वा॑नि॒ जूर्व॑न् । आ॒दि॒त्यः पर्व॑तेभ्यो वि॒श्वदृ॑ष्टो अदृष्ट॒हा ॥ (९)

सारे संसार को देखने वाले एवं अदृष्ट विषधारियों को नष्ट करने वाले सूर्य विषैले जंतुओं को अत्यंत दुर्बल बनाते हुए उदयगिरि से निकलते हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
The suns that see the whole world and destroy the invisible toxins come out of Udaygiri, making the poisonous animals very weak. (9)
सूर्ये॑ वि॒षमा स॑जामि॒ दृतिं॒ सुरा॑वतो गृ॒हे । सो चि॒न्नु न म॑राति॒ नो व॒यं म॑रामा॒रे अ॑स्य॒ योज॑नं हरि॒ष्ठा मधु॑ त्वा मधु॒ला च॑कार ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सुरा बनाने वाला जिस प्रकार चमङ़े के पात्र में शराब डालता है, उसी प्रकार मैं विष सूर्य मंडल की ओर फेंकता हूं. जिस प्रकार सूर्य नहीं मरते, उसी प्रकार हम भी न मरें. घोड़ों द्वारा लाए गए सूर्य दूरवर्ती विष को नष्ट कर देते हैं. हे विष! सूर्य की मधुविद्या तुम्हें अमृत बना देती है. (१०)
EN English Translation
Just as the sura maker puts alcohol in the leather vessel, so I throw the poison towards the solar system. Just as the sun does not die, so also we must not die. The sun brought by horses destroys distant toxins. Oh poison! The bees of the sun make you nectar. (10)
इ॒य॒त्ति॒का श॑कुन्ति॒का स॒का ज॑घास ते वि॒षम् । सो चि॒न्नु न म॑राति॒ नो व॒यं म॑रामा॒रे अ॑स्य॒ योज॑नं हरि॒ष्ठा मधु॑ त्वा मधु॒ला च॑कार ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
छोटी सी चिड़िया ने तुम्हारा विष खा लिया और नहीं मरी. उसी प्रकार हम भी नहीं मरेंगे. हे विष! घोड़ों द्वारा गमन करने वाले सूर्य दूर से ही विष को नष्ट कर देते हैं. उनकी मधुविद्या तुम्हें अमृत बना देती है. (११)
EN English Translation
The little bird ate your poison and did not die. In the same way, we will not die either. Oh poison! The sun that is moved by horses destroys the poison from a distance. Their honeybeing makes you nectar. (11)
त्रिः स॒प्त वि॑ष्पुलिङ्ग॒का वि॒षस्य॒ पुष्य॑मक्षन् । ताश्चि॒न्नु न म॑रन्ति॒ नो व॒यं म॑रामा॒रे अ॑स्य॒ योज॑नं हरि॒ष्ठा मधु॑ त्वा मधु॒ला च॑कार ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अग्नि की सातों जिह्लाओं में सफेद, लाल और काले इस प्रकार मिलकर इक्कीस वर्ण पक्षी के रूप में विष का नाश करते हैं. जब वे नहीं मरते तो हम भी नहीं मरेंगे. अपने घोड़ों द्वारा गमनशील सूर्य दूर रखे विष का नाश करते हैं. हे विष! सूर्य की मधुविद्या तुझे अमृत बना देती है. (१२)
EN English Translation
In the seven tongues of fire, white, red and black thus together the twenty-one characters destroy the poison in the form of birds. When they don't die, we won't die either. The sun moving by your horses destroy the poison kept away. Oh poison! The honey of the sun makes you nectar. (12)
न॒वा॒नां न॑वती॒नां वि॒षस्य॒ रोपु॑षीणाम् । सर्वा॑सामग्रभं॒ नामा॒रे अ॑स्य॒ योज॑नं हरि॒ष्ठा मधु॑ त्वा मधु॒ला च॑कार ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
निन्यानवे नदियां विष नष्ट करने वाली हैं. मैं सबका नाम पुकारता हूं. घोड़ों द्वारा चलने वाले सूर्य दूर रखे विष को भी नष्ट कर देते हैं. हे विष! मधु-विद्या तुझे अमृत बना देगी. (१३)
EN English Translation
Ninety-nine rivers are going to destroy the poison. I call everyone's name. The suns that are run by horses also destroy the poison kept away. Oh poison! Honey-learning will make you nectar. (13)
त्रिः स॒प्त म॑यू॒र्यः॑ स॒प्त स्वसा॑रो अ॒ग्रुवः॑ । तास्ते॑ वि॒षं वि ज॑भ्रिर उद॒कं कु॒म्भिनी॑रिव ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शरीर! जिस प्रकार नारियां घड़ों में जल भरकर ले जाती हैं, उसी प्रकार इक्कीस मयूरियां एवं सात नदियां तुम्हारा विष दूर करें. (१४)
EN English Translation
O body! Just as women carry water in pitchers, so may the twenty-one peacocks and the seven rivers remove your poison. (14)
इ॒य॒त्त॒कः कु॑षुम्भ॒कस्त॒कं भि॑न॒द्म्यश्म॑ना । ततो॑ वि॒षं प्र वा॑वृते॒ परा॑ची॒रनु॑ सं॒वतः॑ ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शरीर! छोटा सा नकुल यदि तुम्हारा विष समाप्त नहीं करेगा तो मैं उसे पत्थर से मार डालूंगा. इस प्रकार विष मेरे शरीर से निकलकर दूर दिशाओं में चला जाए. (१५)
EN English Translation
O body! If the little nakul does not finish your poison, I will stone him to death. Thus the poison comes out of my body and goes in distant directions. (15)
कु॒षु॒म्भ॒कस्तद॑ब्रवीद्गि॒रेः प्र॑वर्तमान॒कः । वृश्चि॑कस्यार॒सं वि॒षम॑र॒सं वृ॑श्चिक ते वि॒षम् ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पर्वत से आने वाले नकुल ने कहा-“बिच्छू का विष बेकार है.” हे बिच्छू! तुम्हारा विष प्रभावहीन है. (१६)
EN English Translation
Nakul, who came from the mountain, said, "The poison of the scorpion is useless." O scorpion! Your poison is ineffective. (16)
