यु॒ञ्जन्ति॑ ब्र॒ध्नम॑रु॒षं चर॑न्तं॒ परि॑ त॒स्थुषः॑ । रोच॑न्ते रोच॒ना दि॒वि ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो इंद्र तेजस्वी सूर्य के रूप में, अहिंसक अग्नि के रूप में तथा सर्वत्र गतिशील वायु के रूप में स्थित हैं, सब लोकों में निवास करने वाले प्राणी उन्हीं इंद्र से संबंध रखते हैं. उन्हीं इंद्र की मूर्ति आकाश में नक्षत्रों के रूप में चमकती है. (१)
EN English Translation
The Indra is located as the bright sun, as non-violent agni and as the moving air everywhere, the beings who live in all the realms belong to the same Indra. The same Idol of Indra shines as constellations in the sky. (1)
यु॒ञ्जन्त्य॑स्य॒ काम्या॒ हरी॒ विप॑क्षसा॒ रथे॑ । शोणा॑ धृ॒ष्णू नृ॒वाह॑सा ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सारथि उन इंद्र के रथ में हरि नाम के सुंदर, रथ के दोनों ओर जोड़ने योग्य, लाल रंग के और शक्तिशाली दो घोड़ों को जोड़ते हैं. वे घोड़े इंद्र एवं उनके सारथि को ढोने में समर्थ हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The charioteer connect two beautiful red coloured and powerful horses, on either side of the chariot, named Hari in the chariot of Indra. Those horses are capable of carrying Indra and his charioteer. (2)
के॒तुं कृ॒ण्वन्न॑के॒तवे॒ पेशो॑ मर्या अपे॒शसे॑ । समु॒षद्भि॑रजायथाः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मनुष्यो! यह आश्चर्य देखो कि यह इंद्र रात को बेहोश प्राणियों को प्रातः होश में लाते हुए और रात में अंधकार के कारण रूपहीन पदार्थों को प्रातः रूप प्रदान करते हुए सूर्य रूप में किरणें बिखेरते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
O men! It is surprising to see that this Indra scatters rays in the form of the sun by bringing the unconscious beings to the senses in the morning, and giving form to the substances in the morning which have became formless due to darkness in the night. (3)
आदह॑ स्व॒धामनु॒ पुन॑र्गर्भ॒त्वमे॑रि॒रे । दधा॑ना॒ नाम॑ य॒ज्ञिय॑म् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इसके पश्चात् मरुद्गण ने यज्ञ के योग्य नाम धारण करके अपने प्रतिवर्ष के नियम के अनुसार बादलों में जलरूपी गर्भ को प्रेरित किया है. (४)
EN English Translation
After this, the host of the yagna has inspired the water-like womb in the clouds according to his every yearly rule by wearing the worthy name of the yajna. (4)
वी॒ळु चि॑दारुज॒त्नुभि॒र्गुहा॑ चिदिन्द्र॒ वह्नि॑भिः । अवि॑न्द उ॒स्रिया॒ अनु॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुमने मरुद्गण के साथ मिलकर गुफा में छिपाई हुई गायों को खोजकर वहां से निकाला. वे मरुद्गण दृढ़ स्थान को भी भेदन करने एवं एक स्थान की वस्तु को दूसरी जगह में ले जाने में समर्थ हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You, along with the host of yagna, found the cows hidden in the cave and got them out of there. The host of yagna are also able to penetrate firm place and move the object of one place to another. (5)
दे॒व॒यन्तो॒ यथा॑ म॒तिमच्छा॑ वि॒दद्व॑सुं॒ गिरः॑ । म॒हाम॑नूषत श्रु॒तम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
स्तुति करने वाले लोग स्वयं देवभाव प्राप्त करने की इच्छा से धन के स्वामी, शक्तिशाली एवं विख्यात मरुद्गण को लक्ष्य करके उसी प्रकार स्तुति कर रहे हैं, जिस प्रकार वे इंद्र की स्तुति करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The people who praise with the desire to attain divinity themselves, are targeting towards the wealthy, powerful and famous host of yagna, and praising him in the same way as they praise Indra. (6)
इन्द्रे॑ण॒ सं हि दृक्ष॑से संजग्मा॒नो अबि॑भ्युषा । म॒न्दू स॑मा॒नव॑र्चसा ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरुद्गण! भयरहित इंद्र के साथ तुम्हारी बहुत घनिष्ठता देखी जाती है. तुम दोनों नित्य प्रसन्न और समान तेज वाले हो. (७)
EN English Translation
O host of yagna! You are seen to have a lot of intimacy with the fearless Indra. You are both constantly happy and equally glorious. (7)
अ॒न॒व॒द्यैर॒भिद्यु॑भिर्म॒खः सह॑स्वदर्चति । ग॒णैरिन्द्र॑स्य॒ काम्यैः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
यह यज्ञ दोषरहित, देवलोक में निवास करने वाले तथा फल देने के कारण कामना करने योग्य मरुद्गण के साथ होने के कारण इंद्र को बलवान् समझकर पूजा-अर्चना करता है. (८)
EN English Translation
This yajna is flawless, the host of yagna, inhabitant of the devloka and who wish for the sake of getting results, worships Indra as a force. (8)
अतः॑ परिज्म॒न्ना ग॑हि दि॒वो वा॑ रोच॒नादधि॑ । सम॑स्मिन्नृञ्जते॒ गिरः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे चारों ओर व्यापक मरुद्गण! तुम झुलोक, आकाश या दीप्त सूर्य मंडल से इस यज्ञ में आओ. पुरोहित-समूह इस यज्ञ में तुम्हारी भली प्रकार स्तुति कर रहा है. (९)
EN English Translation
O vast host of yagna! You come to this yagna from Jhuloka, Akash or the Bright Sun Circle. The priestly group is praising you well in this yajna. (9)
इ॒तो वा॑ सा॒तिमीम॑हे दि॒वो वा॒ पार्थि॑वा॒दधि॑ । इन्द्रं॑ म॒हो वा॒ रज॑सः ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम इंद्र देव की प्रार्थना इसीलिए करते हैं कि वे पृथ्वीलोक, आकाश या वायुलोक से हमें धन प्रदान करते हैं. (१०)
EN English Translation
We pray to Indra Dev because he gives us wealth from earth, sky or air. (10)
