आ॒शुः शिशा॑नो वृष॒भो न भी॒मो घ॑नाघ॒नः क्षोभ॑णश्चर्षणी॒नाम् । सं॒क्रन्द॑नोऽनिमि॒ष ए॑कवी॒रः श॒तं सेना॑ अजयत्सा॒कमिन्द्रः॑ ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र व्यापक शत्रुनाशक बैल के समान भयानक शत्रुघातक एवं मानवों को क्षुब्ध करने वाले हैं. वे शत्रुओं को रुलाने वाले व निमेषरहित चक्षु वाले हैं. उन्होंने अकेले ही सैकड़ों सेनाओं को जीता है. (१)
EN English Translation
Indra is like a fierce bull, who is a enemy killer and perturb men. He make the enemies cry without blinking his eyes. He alone has won hundreds of armies. (1)
सं॒क्रन्द॑नेनानिमि॒षेण॑ जि॒ष्णुना॑ युत्का॒रेण॑ दुश्च्यव॒नेन॑ धृ॒ष्णुना॑ । तदिन्द्रे॑ण जयत॒ तत्स॑हध्वं॒ युधो॑ नर॒ इषु॑हस्तेन॒ वृष्णा॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे योद्धा लोगो! शत्रुओं को रुलाने वाले, निमेषरहित युद्ध में जय पाने वाले युद्धकर्ता, अन्यों द्वारा विचलित न होने वाले, पराभवकारी, हाथ में बाण रखने वाले एवं जलवर्षक इंद्र की सहायता पाकर विजय पाओ एवं शत्रुओं के साथ युद्ध करो. (२)
EN English Translation
O warrior people! those who makes the enemies cry, the warriors who conquers the enemies, the ones who are victorious, those who do not get distracted by others, the loss-givers, the ones who have an arrow in their hands, fight the enemies with the help of Indra. (2)
स इषु॑हस्तैः॒ स नि॑ष॒ङ्गिभि॑र्व॒शी संस्र॑ष्टा॒ स युध॒ इन्द्रो॑ ग॒णेन॑ । सं॒सृ॒ष्ट॒जित्सो॑म॒पा बा॑हुश॒र्ध्यु१॒॑ग्रध॑न्वा॒ प्रति॑हिताभि॒रस्ता॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सबको वश में करने वाले इंद्र हाथ में बाण धारण करने वाले तथा तूणीरधारी लोगों से युक्त होकर युद्ध करते हैं एवं शन्रुसमूह से भिड़ जाते हैं. युद्ध में भिड़ने वालों को जीतने वाले, सोमपानकर्तता, भुजबल युक्त एवं उद्यत धनुष वाले इंद्र अपने बाणों से शत्रुओं का नाश करते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Indra, who subdues all, fights with the people holding arrows in his hand and bearing a trumpet and confronts the Shanru group. Indra, who conquers those who fight in battle, with sompankarta, bhujbal and with a bow, destroys the enemies with his arrows. (3)
बृह॑स्पते॒ परि॑ दीया॒ रथे॑न रक्षो॒हामित्रा॑ँ अप॒बाध॑मानः । प्र॒भ॒ञ्जन्सेनाः॑ प्रमृ॒णो यु॒धा जय॑न्न॒स्माक॑मेध्यवि॒ता रथा॑नाम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे राक्षसहंता बृहस्पति! तुम शत्रुओं को जीतते हुए रथ पर बैठकर हमारे पास आओ. तुम शत्रुसेनाओं का नाश करो, विपक्षी योद्धाओं को मारो एवं हमारे रथों की रक्षा करके वृद्धि पाओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O demons, Jupiter! Come to us sitting on the chariot, conquering your enemies. You destroy the enemy armies, kill the opposition warriors and protect our chariots and get growth. (4)
ब॒ल॒वि॒ज्ञा॒यः स्थवि॑रः॒ प्रवी॑रः॒ सह॑स्वान्वा॒जी सह॑मान उ॒ग्रः । अ॒भिवी॑रो अ॒भिस॑त्वा सहो॒जा जैत्र॑मिन्द्र॒ रथ॒मा ति॑ष्ठ गो॒वित् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सब प्राणियों का बल जानने वाले, महान् उत्तम वीर, सामर्थ्यशाली, शीघ्र गति वाले, शत्रुपराभवकारी, उग्र, शक्तिशाली वीर पुत्रों वाले, बल प्राप्तकर्ता एवं शक्ति से उत्पन्न गायों को प्राप्त करने वाले इंद्र! तुम विजय प्राप्त करने वाले रथ पर चढ़ो. (५)
EN English Translation
O Indra, who knows the strength of all beings, the great heroes, the mighty, the fast-paced, the enemy-losers, the fierce, the mighty, the mighty, the brave sons, the recipient of strength, and the receiving of the cows born of power! You climb the conquering chariot. (5)
गो॒त्र॒भिदं॑ गो॒विदं॒ वज्र॑बाहुं॒ जय॑न्त॒मज्म॑ प्रमृ॒णन्त॒मोज॑सा । इ॒मं स॑जाता॒ अनु॑ वीरयध्व॒मिन्द्रं॑ सखायो॒ अनु॒ सं र॑भध्वम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे एक साथ उत्पन्न योद्धाओं एवं मित्रो! तुम मेघभेदनकारी, जल प्राप्त करने वाले, हाथ में वज्रधारणकर्ता, जयशील व गतिशील शत्रुसेना को शक्ति से पराजित करने वाले इंद्र को आगे करके युद्ध करो एवं प्रसन्नता प्राप्त करो. (६)
EN English Translation
O warriors and friends created together! You fight ahead of Indra, the one who receives water, the one who receives water, the vajradharman in your hand, the conqueror and the dynamic enemy army with power and defeats indra with power and attain happiness. (6)
अ॒भि गो॒त्राणि॒ सह॑सा॒ गाह॑मानोऽद॒यो वी॒रः श॒तम॑न्यु॒रिन्द्रः॑ । दु॒श्च्य॒व॒नः पृ॑तना॒षाळ॑यु॒ध्यो॒३॒॑ऽस्माकं॒ सेना॑ अवतु॒ प्र यु॒त्सु ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दयाहीन वीर अनेक यज्ञों के स्वामी, अन्यों द्वारा विचलित न होने वाले शत्रुसेना को हराने वाले दूसरों द्वारा प्रहार न करने योग्य एवं शक्ति द्वारा मेघों में प्रवेश करने वाले इंदर युद्धों में हमारी सेनाओं की रक्षा करें. (७)
EN English Translation
May the merciful heroes protect our armies in the inder wars that are masters of many yagnas, those who are not attacked by others who defeat the enemy army that is not distracted by others, and enter the clouds with power. (7)
इन्द्र॑ आसां ने॒ता बृह॒स्पति॒र्दक्षि॑णा य॒ज्ञः पु॒र ए॑तु॒ सोमः॑ । दे॒व॒से॒नाना॑मभिभञ्जती॒नां जय॑न्तीनां म॒रुतो॑ य॒न्त्वग्र॑म् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
इंद्र इन सेनाओं के स्वामी हैं. बृहस्पति इनके दक्षिण भाग में एवं यज्ञोपयोगी सोम इनके आगे रहें. मरुद्गण शत्रुनाशक एवं जयशील देवसेनाओं के आगे-आगे चलें. (८)
EN English Translation
Indra is the master of these armies. Jupiter is in the south part of them and the yajnapayogi som is ahead of them. Let the deserters go before the enemies and the jaisheel devasenas. (8)
इन्द्र॑स्य॒ वृष्णो॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ राज्ञ॑ आदि॒त्यानां॑ म॒रुतां॒ शर्ध॑ उ॒ग्रम् । म॒हाम॑नसां भुवनच्य॒वानां॒ घोषो॑ दे॒वानां॒ जय॑ता॒मुद॑स्थात् ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जलवर्षक इंद्र, राजा वरुण, आदित्यों एवं मरुद्गणों का बल भयानक है. महामनस्वी, भुवन को कंपित करने वाले एवं विजयी देवों का जयजयकार उत्पन्न हुआ. (९)
EN English Translation
The force of the water-yearn Indra, King Varuna, Adityas and Marudganas is terrible. Mahamanasvi, the one who shook Bhuvan and the victorious gods cheered. (9)
उद्ध॑र्षय मघव॒न्नायु॑धा॒न्युत्सत्व॑नां माम॒कानां॒ मनां॑सि । उद्वृ॑त्रहन्वा॒जिनां॒ वाजि॑ना॒न्युद्रथा॑नां॒ जय॑तां यन्तु॒ घोषाः॑ ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमारे आयुधों को तेज एवं हमारे सैनिकों का मन प्रसन्न करो. हमारे घोड़ों की शक्ति तथा हमारे विजयी रथ का शब्द बढ़े. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Speed up our weapons and please the minds of our soldiers. The power of our horses and the words of our victorious chariot increased. (10)
अ॒स्माक॒मिन्द्रः॒ समृ॑तेषु ध्व॒जेष्व॒स्माकं॒ या इष॑व॒स्ता ज॑यन्तु । अ॒स्माकं॑ वी॒रा उत्त॑रे भवन्त्व॒स्माँ उ॑ देवा अवता॒ हवे॑षु ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारी ध्वजाओं के फहराए जाने के समय इंद्र रक्षा करें. हमारे बाण विजय प्राप्त करें. हमारे वीर उत्तम हों. हे देवो! युद्धों में हमारी रक्षा करो. (११)
EN English Translation
Indra Protect us at the time of hoisting of our flags. Our arrows achieve victory. Let our heroes be the best. Oh, Devas! Protect us in wars. (11)
अ॒मीषां॑ चि॒त्तं प्र॑तिलो॒भय॑न्ती गृहा॒णाङ्गा॑न्यप्वे॒ परे॑हि । अ॒भि प्रेहि॒ निर्द॑ह हृ॒त्सु शोकै॑र॒न्धेना॒मित्रा॒स्तम॑सा सचन्ताम् ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अप्वा नामक पाप-देवता! तुम हमारे शत्रुओं का मन लुभाते हुए उनके अंगों को स्वीकार करो. उनके समीप जाओ और शोकों द्वारा उनके हृदयों को जलाओ. हमारे शत्रु अंधे तम से युक्त हों. (१२)
EN English Translation
O god of sin, named Apva! You accept our enemies' organs while enticing their hearts. Go near to them and burn their hearts with sorrows. May our enemies be blind. (12)
प्रेता॒ जय॑ता नर॒ इन्द्रो॑ वः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतु । उ॒ग्रा वः॑ सन्तु बा॒हवो॑ऽनाधृ॒ष्या यथास॑थ ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मानवो! आगे बढ़ो और विजयी बनो. इंद्र तुम्हें कल्याण प्रदान करें. तुम लोग जैसे अधृष्य हो, वैसी ही शक्तिशालिनी तुम्हारी भुजाएं हों. (१३)
EN English Translation
Oh, humans! Go ahead and be victorious. Indra grant you welfare. Just as you are inferior, so are your arms of power. (13)
