अग्ने॒ हंसि॒ न्य१॒॑त्रिणं॒ दीद्य॒न्मर्त्ये॒ष्वा । स्वे क्षये॑ शुचिव्रत ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पवित्र व्रत वाले अग्नि! तुम मनुष्यों के मध्य अपने स्थान पर प्रज्वलित होकर शत्रुओं का नाश करो. (१)
EN English Translation
O divine pledge agni! You must destroy the enemies by igniting in your place among men. (1)
उत्ति॑ष्ठसि॒ स्वा॑हुतो घृ॒तानि॒ प्रति॑ मोदसे । यत्त्वा॒ स्रुचः॑ स॒मस्थि॑रन् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शोभन आहुति वाले अग्नि! तुम उठते हो और घी पाकर प्रसन्न होते हो. तुम्हारे लिए खुच उठाए जाते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O agni with glory! You get up and are happy to get ghee. Scratches are raised for you. (2)
स आहु॑तो॒ वि रो॑चते॒ऽग्निरी॒ळेन्यो॑ गि॒रा । स्रु॒चा प्रती॑कमज्यते ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बुलाए गए एवं स्तुतियों द्वारा प्रशंसा योग्य अग्नि प्रज्वलित होते हो. एवं सभी देवों से पहले घी के द्वारा सींचे जाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
A agni of praise is ignited by the called and praised. And before all the gods are irrigated by ghee. (3)
घृ॒तेना॒ग्निः सम॑ज्यते॒ मधु॑प्रतीक॒ आहु॑तः । रोच॑मानो वि॒भाव॑सुः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
घृतयुक्त अवयव वाले अग्नि घृतरूपी हव्य से सिंचते हैं. वे स्तुतियों द्वारा रोचमान एवं दीप्ति वाले हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
The agnis with a disgusting component are irrigated with a disgusting air. They are rochman and radiant by praises. (4)
जर॑माणः॒ समि॑ध्यसे दे॒वेभ्यो॑ हव्यवाहन । तं त्वा॑ हवन्त॒ मर्त्याः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवों का हव्य वहन करने वाले अग्नि! तुम स्तोताओं द्वारा प्रशंसित होकर प्रज्वलित होते हो, मनुष्य तुम्हें बुलाते हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O agni that carries the hand of the gods! You are admired and ignited by the psalms, man calls you. (5)
तं म॑र्ता॒ अम॑र्त्यं घृ॒तेना॒ग्निं स॑पर्यत । अदा॑भ्यं गृ॒हप॑तिम् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मनुष्यो! घृत द्वारा मरणरहित, अपराजेय एवं गृहपति अग्नि की सेवा करो. (६)
EN English Translation
O men! Serve the agni without death, unbeatable and homemaker by the abomination. (6)
अदा॑भ्येन शो॒चिषाग्ने॒ रक्ष॒स्त्वं द॑ह । गो॒पा ऋ॒तस्य॑ दीदिहि ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! अपने अपराजेय तेज के द्वारा तुम राक्षसों को जलाओ एवं धन के रक्षक बनकर दीप्तिधारक बनो. (७)
EN English Translation
O agni! Burn the demons through your unbeatable swiftness and become the protectors of wealth and become the brightholders. (7)
स त्वम॑ग्ने॒ प्रती॑केन॒ प्रत्यो॑ष यातुधा॒न्यः॑ । उ॒रु॒क्षये॑षु॒ दीद्य॑त् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! तुम अपने अद्वितीय तेज द्वारा राक्षसों को समाप्त करो. तुम अपने सभी स्थानों में दीप्तिशाली बनो. (८)
EN English Translation
O agni! You eliminate the monsters by your unique sharpness. Be radiant in all your places. (8)
तं त्वा॑ गी॒र्भिरु॑रु॒क्षया॑ हव्य॒वाहं॒ समी॑धिरे । यजि॑ष्ठं॒ मानु॑षे॒ जने॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अनेक यजमानों वाले हव्यवहनकर्त्ता एवं मानव समूह में सबसे अधिक यज्ञकर्ता अग्नि को स्तुति के साथ प्रज्वलित किया जाता है. (९)
EN English Translation
The most sacrificial agni in the human group and the most sacrificial one in the human group of many hosts is ignited with praise. (9)
