हे शोभन कर्म वाले अग्नि! यज्ञ में संलग्न यजमान के लिए विश्व को तृप्त करने वाली और यथेष्ट दूध देने वाली गाय से यज्ञफल को दुहो. तुम घृत की आहुति पाकर तीनों लोकों को प्रकाशित करते हुए यज्ञशाला में सर्वत्र वर्तमान हो, गतिशील हो एवं शोभन यज्ञ के समान आचरण करते हो. (६)

O agni of good deeds! For the host engaged in the yajna, milk the yajnaphal from the cow that satisfies the world and gives the desired milk. You are present everywhere in the yajnashala, dynamic and behave like shobhan yajna, illuminating the three lokas by receiving the sacrifice of the gharit. (6)
