मा प्र गा॑म प॒थो व॒यं मा य॒ज्ञादि॑न्द्र सो॒मिनः॑ । मान्तः स्थु॑र्नो॒ अरा॑तयः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हम सुपथ से विचलित न हों तथा सोमरस वाले यजमान के यज्ञ से दूर न रहें. शत्रु हमारे बीच में न आवें. (१)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Let us not deviate from the path and do not stay away from the yajna of the host of Somras. Let the enemy not come among us. (1)
यो य॒ज्ञस्य॑ प्र॒साध॑न॒स्तन्तु॑र्दे॒वेष्वात॑तः । तमाहु॑तं नशीमहि ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो अग्नि यज्ञ का विशेष साधन है एवं आहवनीय आदि रूप से देवों के समीप तक विस्तृत है, उस सब ओर से बुलाए गए अग्नि को हम प्राप्त करें. (२)
EN English Translation
Let us get the agni which is a special means of yajna and extends to the close of the gods in the form of the inaudible, and the agni called from all sides. (2)
मनो॒ न्वा हु॑वामहे नाराशं॒सेन॒ सोमे॑न । पि॒तॄ॒णां च॒ मन्म॑भिः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
पितरों के चमस में स्थित सोम के द्वारा हम मन को शीघ्र बुलाते हैं. हम पितरों के स्तोत्र द्वारा मन को बुलाते हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
By the som located in the chamas of the fathers, we call the mind quickly. We call the mind by the hymns of the fathers. (3)
आ त॑ एतु॒ मनः॒ पुनः॒ क्रत्वे॒ दक्षा॑य जी॒वसे॑ । ज्योक्च॒ सूर्यं॑ दृ॒शे ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सुबंधु! तुम्हारा मन अभिचरणकर्ता के समीप से पुनः आवे. यह यज्ञकार्यं करने एवं बल प्रदर्शित करने के लिए आवे. तुम्हारा मन जीवित रहने एवं सूर्य के शीघ्र दर्शन करने हेतु आवे. (४)
EN English Translation
O brother! Come your mind back from the face of the agent. Come to perform this yajna work and to show strength. Let your mind come to live and see the sun quickly. (4)
पुन॑र्नः पितरो॒ मनो॒ ददा॑तु॒ दैव्यो॒ जनः॑ । जी॒वं व्रातं॑ सचेमहि ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारे पितरों का समूह एवं देवगण सभी इंद्रियों को वापस कर दें. हम उन्हे प्राप्त करें. (५)
EN English Translation
May our group of ancestors and devas return all senses. Let's get them. (5)
व॒यं सो॑म व्र॒ते तव॒ मन॑स्त॒नूषु॒ बिभ्र॑तः । प्र॒जाव॑न्तः सचेमहि ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोमदेव! हम तुम्हारे कर्म एवं शरीर में मन लगावें एवं संतानयुक्त होकर तुम्हारे काम में लगें. (६)
EN English Translation
O Somdev! Let us put our mind into your work and body and be children and engage in your work. (6)
