अ॒ग्निर्होता॑ पु॒रोहि॑तोऽध्व॒रस्य॒ विच॑र्षणिः । स वे॑द य॒ज्ञमा॑नु॒षक् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवों का आह्वान करने वाले, पुरोहित एवं यज्ञ के विशेष द्रष्टा अग्नि क्रमिक रूप से यज्ञ जानते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Those who invoke the gods, the priests and the special seers of the yajna, the agni, know the yajna sequentially. (1)
स ह॑व्य॒वाळम॑र्त्य उ॒शिग्दू॒तश्चनो॑हितः । अ॒ग्निर्धि॒या समृ॑ण्वति ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हव्यवहन करने वाले, मरणरहित, द्रव्य के इच्छुक देवों के दूत एवं अन्नप्रिय अग्नि बुद्धि से युक्त होते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
The human beings, the deathless, the messengers of the gods desirous of matter and the anaemonths are full of agni intelligence. (2)
अ॒ग्निर्धि॒या स चे॑तति के॒तुर्य॒ज्ञस्य॑ पू॒र्व्यः । अर्थं॒ ह्य॑स्य त॒रणि॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ध्वज के समान यज्ञ के ज्ञापक एवं प्राचीन अग्नि अपनी बुद्धि से सब कुछ जानते हैं. अग्नि का तेज अंधकार को नष्ट करता है. (३)
EN English Translation
Like a flag, the invigilators of the yajna and the ancient agni know everything by their wisdom. The brightness of agni destroys the darkness. (3)
अ॒ग्निं सू॒नुं सन॑श्रुतं॒ सह॑सो जा॒तवे॑दसम् । वह्निं॑ दे॒वा अ॑कृण्वत ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
बल के पुत्र, सनातन रूप से प्रसिद्ध तथा जातवेद अग्नि को देवों ने हव्य ढोने वाला बनाया है. (४)
EN English Translation
Son of the force, eternally famous and Jatveda Agni has been made a bearer of havya by the devas. (4)
अदा॑भ्यः पुरए॒ता वि॒शाम॒ग्निर्मानु॑षीणाम् । तूर्णी॒ रथः॒ सदा॒ नवः॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मानवी प्रजाओं के अग्रगामी, शीघ्रता करने वाले, रथ के समान द्रव्य ढोने वाले एवं नित्य नवीन अग्नि का कोई तिरस्कार नहीं कर सकता. (५)
EN English Translation
No one can despise the advancing, the quick-doers, the chariot-like, the constant new agni of the human beings. (5)
सा॒ह्वान्विश्वा॑ अभि॒युजः॒ क्रतु॑र्दे॒वाना॒ममृ॑क्तः । अ॒ग्निस्तु॒विश्र॑वस्तमः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
समस्त शत्रुसेना को पराजित करने वाले, शत्रुओं द्वारा अवध्य एवं देवों के पोषक अग्नि अनेक प्रकार के अन्नों से युक्त हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The agnis that defeat all the enemies, the enemies, the enemies, and the nourishing agni of the gods, are rich in many kinds of food grains. (6)
अ॒भि प्रयां॑सि॒ वाह॑सा दा॒श्वाँ अ॑श्नोति॒ मर्त्यः॑ । क्षयं॑ पाव॒कशो॑चिषः ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हव्य देने वाला मनुष्य हव्यवहन करने वाले अग्नि की कृपा से समस्त अन्नों को प्राप्त करता है एवं पवित्र प्रकाश वाले अग्नि से घर पाता है. (७)
EN English Translation
The man who gives the havan receives all the food by the grace of the agni that gives the havan and finds the house by the agni of the holy light. (7)
परि॒ विश्वा॑नि॒ सुधि॑ता॒ग्नेर॑श्याम॒ मन्म॑भिः । विप्रा॑सो जा॒तवे॑दसः ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम प्रजासंपन्न एवं ज्ञानवान् होता आदि तुझ अग्ने के स्तोत्रों द्वारा समस्त हितकारक धन प्राप्त करें. (८)
EN English Translation
May we get all the beneficial wealth through the hymns of your agne, such as the people and the enlightened, etc. (8)
अग्ने॒ विश्वा॑नि॒ वार्या॒ वाजे॑षु सनिषामहे । त्वे दे॒वास॒ एरि॑रे ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! समस्त देव तुम्हीं में प्रविष्ट हैं, इसलिए हम यज्ञों में तुमसे समस्त उत्तम धन प्राप्त करें. (९)
EN English Translation
O agni! All gods are in you, so let us receive all the best wealth from you in the yagnas. (9)
