ऋ॒भुर्विभ्वा॒ वाज॒ इन्द्रो॑ नो॒ अच्छे॒मं य॒ज्ञं र॑त्न॒धेयोप॑ यात । इ॒दा हि वो॑ धि॒षणा॑ दे॒व्यह्ना॒मधा॑त्पी॒तिं सं मदा॑ अग्मता वः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋभु, विभु, वाज एवं इंद्र! तुम लोग हमें रत्न प्रदान करने के लिए इस यज्ञ में आओ. इस समय वाणी-रूपी देवी ने तुम्हारे लिए सोमपान की प्रसन्नता धारण की है. सोमरस पीने से उत्पन्न प्रसन्नता तुम्हें प्राप्त हो. (१)
EN English Translation
O Ribhu, Vibhu, Vaj and Indra! You people come to this yagna to give us gems. At this time, the goddess of speech has possessed the happiness of Sompan for you. May you get the happiness arising from drinking somras. (1)
वि॒दा॒नासो॒ जन्म॑नो वाजरत्ना उ॒त ऋ॒तुभि॑रृभवो मादयध्वम् । सं वो॒ मदा॒ अग्म॑त॒ सं पुरं॑धिः सु॒वीरा॑म॒स्मे र॒यिमेर॑यध्वम् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोमरूपी अन्न से सुशोभित ऋभुओ! तुम देवश्रेणी में अपना जन्म जानकर देवों के साथ आनंदित बनो. सोमपान से उत्पन्न मद एवं स्तुति तुम्हें प्राप्त हुई है. तुम हमें पुत्र एवं पौत्रों से युक्त धन दो. (२)
EN English Translation
O somaroopi beautify with food! Be happy with the gods knowing your birth in the devasrangi. You have received the item and praise generated from Sompan. Give us money with sons and grandsons. (2)
अ॒यं वो॑ य॒ज्ञ ऋ॑भवोऽकारि॒ यमा म॑नु॒ष्वत्प्र॒दिवो॑ दधि॒ध्वे । प्र वोऽच्छा॑ जुजुषा॒णासो॑ अस्थु॒रभू॑त॒ विश्वे॑ अग्रि॒योत वा॑जाः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋभुओ! यह यज्ञ तुम लोगों के उद्देश्य से किया गया है. तुम दीप्तिसंपन्न होकर मनुष्यों के समान उसे अपने उदर में धारण करो. तुम्हारी सेवा करने वाला सोमरस तुम्हारे समीप रहता है. हे ऋभुओ! तुम सब अग्रश्रेणी में गिने जाते हो. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey, Lord! This yajna has been aimed at you. Be radiant and hold it in your stomach like men. Somers who serve you lives near you. Hey, Lord! You are all counted in the forefront. (3)
अभू॑दु वो विध॒ते र॑त्न॒धेय॑मि॒दा न॑रो दा॒शुषे॒ मर्त्या॑य । पिब॑त वाजा ऋभवो द॒दे वो॒ महि॑ तृ॒तीयं॒ सव॑नं॒ मदा॑य ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेता ऋभुओ! तुम्हारी कृपा से स्तुति द्वारा सेवा करने वाले एवं हव्य देने वाले यजमान को तृतीय सवन में रत्नरूपी दक्षिणा देना संभव हो. हे वाजगण एवं ऋभुओ! तीसरे सवन में हम तुम्हारी प्रसन्नता के लिए पर्याप्त मात्रा में सोमरस देते हैं. तुम उसे पिओ. (४)
EN English Translation
O leader, Lord! By your grace, it may be possible to give ratna-like dakshina in the third sustenance to the host who serves and gives a havan by praise. O Vajgan and Rybhuo! In the third suvn we give a sufficient amount of somras for your happiness. You drink it. (4)
आ वा॑जा या॒तोप॑ न ऋभुक्षा म॒हो न॑रो॒ द्रवि॑णसो गृणा॒नाः । आ वः॑ पी॒तयो॑ऽभिपि॒त्वे अह्ना॑मि॒मा अस्तं॑ नव॒स्व॑ इव ग्मन् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेतारूप वाजगण एवं ऋभुगण! तुम लोग महान् धन की स्तुति करते हुए हमारे समीप आओ. दिन के अंत अर्थात् तीसरे सवन के समय पानयोग्य सोमरस उसी प्रकार तुम्हारे निकट आता है, जिस प्रकार बछड़ों वाली गाएं अपने घर की ओर आती हैं. (५)
EN English Translation
O leader vajgan and ribhugan! Come to us praising the great riches. At the end of the day i.e. the third evening, the panable somras comes close to you in the same way that the cows with calves come towards their house. (5)
आ न॑पातः शवसो यात॒नोपे॒मं य॒ज्ञं नम॑सा हू॒यमा॑नाः । स॒जोष॑सः सूरयो॒ यस्य॑ च॒ स्थ मध्वः॑ पात रत्न॒धा इन्द्र॑वन्तः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बल के पुत्र ऋभुओ! हमारी स्तुतियों से बुलाए हुए तुम यज्ञ के समीप आओ. इंद्र के संबंधी होने के कारण तुम उन्हीं के साथ प्रसन्न रहते हो एवं मेधावी हो. तुम इंद्र के साथ आकर मधुर सोम पिओ एवं रत्नदान करो. (६)
EN English Translation
O son of strength, Lord! You come near to the yajna, called by Our praises. Being a relative of Indra, you are happy with them and are brilliant. You come with Indra and drink sweet som and do ratnadan. (6)
स॒जोषा॑ इन्द्र॒ वरु॑णेन॒ सोमं॑ स॒जोषाः॑ पाहि गिर्वणो म॒रुद्भिः॑ । अ॒ग्रे॒पाभि॑रृतु॒पाभिः॑ स॒जोषा॒ ग्नास्पत्नी॑भी रत्न॒धाभिः॑ स॒जोषाः॑ ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम वरुण के साथ प्रसन्न होकर सोम पिओ. हे स्तुतियोग्य इंद्र तुम मरुतों के साथ प्रसन्न होकर सोम पिओ. सबसे पहले सोमरस पीने वाले ऋतुपालक देवों, देवपत्नियों एवं रत्न देने वाले देवों के साथ तुम सोम पिओ. (७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You drink mon by being pleased with Varun. O praiseworthy Indra, you are pleased with the Maruts and drink the mon. First of all, you drink som with the ritupalak devas who drink somras, the devas wives and the gems-giving gods. (7)
स॒जोष॑स आदि॒त्यैर्मा॑दयध्वं स॒जोष॑स ऋभवः॒ पर्व॑तेभिः । स॒जोष॑सो॒ दैव्ये॑ना सवि॒त्रा स॒जोष॑सः॒ सिन्धु॑भी रत्न॒धेभिः॑ ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋभुओ! तुम आदित्यों, पर्व के समय पूजे जाने वाले देवों एवं रत्नदान करने वाली नदियों के साथ मिलकर प्रसन्न बनो. (८)
EN English Translation
Hey, Lord! Be happy to join the Adityas, the gods worshipped at the time of the festival and the rivers that give gems. (8)
ये अ॒श्विना॒ ये पि॒तरा॒ य ऊ॒ती धे॒नुं त॑त॒क्षुरृ॒भवो॒ ये अश्वा॑ । ये अंस॑त्रा॒ य ऋध॒ग्रोद॑सी॒ ये विभ्वो॒ नरः॑ स्वप॒त्यानि॑ च॒क्रुः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिन ऋभुओं ने रथनिर्माणरूपी सेवा से अश्चिनीकुमारों को प्रसन्न किया, माता-पिता को बुढ़ापे की जीर्णता से युवा बनाकर प्रसन्न किया, जिन्होंने धेनु और घोड़े को बनाया, देवों के लिए कवच का निर्माण किया, धरती व आकाश को अलग-अलग किया, वे व्यापक, नेता एवं शोभन संतान प्राप्ति के लिए कार्य करने वाले हैं. (९)
EN English Translation
The sages who have pleased the Ashchinikumars with the service of chariot-building, who have made the parents young with the dilapidation of old age, who made dhenu and the horse, made armor for the gods, separated the earth and the sky, are the broad, the leaders and the ones who work for the attainment of a glorious child. (9)
ये गोम॑न्तं॒ वाज॑वन्तं सु॒वीरं॑ र॒यिं ध॒त्थ वसु॑मन्तं पुरु॒क्षुम् । ते अ॑ग्रे॒पा ऋ॑भवो मन्दसा॒ना अ॒स्मे ध॑त्त॒ ये च॑ रा॒तिं गृ॒णन्ति॑ ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो ऋभुगण गायों, अन्न, पुत्र-पौत्र, निवासस्थान युक्त तथा अधिक अन्न वाले धन के स्वामी हैं, वे सबसे पहले सोमरस पीने वाले, प्रसन्न एवं दान की प्रशंसा करने वाले हैं. वे हमें धन दें. (१०)
EN English Translation
Those who are the owners of wealth with cows, food, sons and grandsons, residence and more food, they are the first to drink someras, please and praise charity. They give us money. (10)
नापा॑भूत॒ न वो॑ऽतीतृषा॒मानिः॑शस्ता ऋभवो य॒ज्ञे अ॒स्मिन् । समिन्द्रे॑ण॒ मद॑थ॒ सं म॒रुद्भिः॒ सं राज॑भी रत्न॒धेया॑य देवाः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋभुओ! तुम यहां से चले मत जाना. हम तुम्हें अधिक प्यासा नहीं रखेंगे. हे देवरूप ऋभुओ! तुम अनिंदित रूप में धन देने के लिए इंद्र, मरुद्गण एवं दीप्तिशाली देवों के साथ प्रसन्न बनो. (११)
EN English Translation
Hey, Lord! Don't you go away from here. We won't keep you thirsty more. O God, Rich! Be pleased with Indra, the Deserts and the radiant gods to give money in the unadorned form. (11)
