वायो॑ शु॒क्रो अ॑यामि ते॒ मध्वो॒ अग्रं॒ दिवि॑ष्टिषु । आ या॑हि॒ सोम॑पीतये स्पा॒र्हो दे॑व नि॒युत्व॑ता ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! मैं व्रतचर्यादि द्वारा पवित्र होकर सबसे पहले तुम्हारे निमित्त मधुर सोमरस लाता हूं, क्योंकि मैं स्वर्ग में जाना चाहता हूं. हे अभिषवणीय देव! तुम अपने अश्चों द्वारा सोमपान के लिए यहां आओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O air! I am the first to bring you sweet somras, sanctified by vratcharyadi, because I want to go to heaven. O god of worship! You come here to Sompan by your aschas. (1)
इन्द्र॑श्च वायवेषां॒ सोमा॑नां पी॒तिम॑र्हथः । यु॒वां हि यन्तीन्द॑वो नि॒म्नमापो॒ न स॒ध्र्य॑क् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! तुम और इंद्र इन सोमों को पीने की योग्यता रखते हो. इस तरह सोम तुम दोनों के पास जाते हैं, जैसे जल नीचे स्थान की ओर चलता है. (२)
EN English Translation
O air! You and Indra have the ability to drink these mons. This way the mon goes to both of you, as the water moves towards the place below. (2)
वाय॒विन्द्र॑श्च शु॒ष्मिणा॑ स॒रथं॑ शवसस्पती । नि॒युत्व॑न्ता न ऊ॒तय॒ आ या॑तं॒ सोम॑पीतये ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वायु! तुम और इंद्र बल के स्वामी हो एवं घोड़ों से युक्त एक ही रथ पर चढ़ते हो. हम लोगों की रक्षा एवं सोमपान करने के लिए यहां आओ. (३)
EN English Translation
O air! You and Indra are the masters of force and climb on the same chariot with horses. We come here to protect the people and do sompan. (3)
या वां॒ सन्ति॑ पुरु॒स्पृहो॑ नि॒युतो॑ दा॒शुषे॑ नरा । अ॒स्मे ता य॑ज्ञवाह॒सेन्द्र॑वायू॒ नि य॑च्छतम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेता एवं यज्ञपूर्णकर्ता इंद्र व वायु! तुम्हारे पास बहुतों द्वारा अभिलषित अश्च हैं, उन्हें हम हव्यदाताओं को दे दो. (४)
EN English Translation
O leader and sacrificial lord Indra and Vayu! You have assents expressed by many, give them to us give to the givers. (4)
