वरु॑णं वो रि॒शाद॑समृ॒चा मि॒त्रं ह॑वामहे । परि॑ व्र॒जेव॑ बा॒ह्वोर्ज॑ग॒न्वांसा॒ स्व॑र्णरम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम इस मंत्र द्वारा शत्रुनाशक, स्वर्ग के नेता एवं बाहुबल से गोसमूह के समान आगे बढ़ने वाले मित्र एवं वरुण का आह्वान करते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Through this mantra, we invoke the enemies, the leader of heaven and the leader of the muscle power and the friend and Varuna who move forward like a go-group. (1)
ता बा॒हवा॑ सुचे॒तुना॒ प्र य॑न्तमस्मा॒ अर्च॑ते । शेवं॒ हि जा॒र्यं॑ वां॒ विश्वा॑सु॒ क्षासु॒ जोगु॑वे ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र एवं वरुण! तुम दोनों अपनी अतिशय बुद्धि द्वारा मनोयोग के साथ स्तुति करने वाले मुझ स्तोता को वांछित सुख दो. तुम्हारे द्वारा दिया हुआ प्रशंसनीय सुख सारी धरती पर गमन करता है. (२)
EN English Translation
Oh my friend and Varun! Give the desired pleasure to me to the hymn who both praise me with passion by your extreme wisdom. The admirable happiness you have given passes all over the earth. (2)
यन्नू॒नम॒श्यां गतिं॑ मि॒त्रस्य॑ यायां प॒था । अस्य॑ प्रि॒यस्य॒ शर्म॒ण्यहिं॑सानस्य सश्चिरे ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जब हमें निश्चित रूप से गति प्राप्त हो, तब हम मित्र द्वारा दिखाए मार्ग से चलें एवं प्रिय मित्र का सुख हमें अपने घर में मिले. (३)
EN English Translation
When we are sure to gain momentum, let us follow the path shown by the friend and find the happiness of the dear friend in our home. (3)
यु॒वाभ्यां॑ मित्रावरुणोप॒मं धे॑यामृ॒चा । यद्ध॒ क्षये॑ म॒घोनां॑ स्तोतॄ॒णां च॑ स्पू॒र्धसे॑ ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र एवं वरुण! तुम दोनों की स्तुति द्वारा हम ऐसा धन प्राप्त करेंगे, जिसके कारण धनस्वामियों एवं स्तोताओं के घरों में स्पर्धा होने लगे. (४)
EN English Translation
Oh my friend and Varun! By praising both of you, we will receive such wealth, due to which competitions take place in the houses of wealthy and stothas. (4)
आ नो॑ मित्र सुदी॒तिभि॒र्वरु॑णश्च स॒धस्थ॒ आ । स्वे क्षये॑ म॒घोनां॒ सखी॑नां च वृ॒धसे॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र एवं वरुण! तुम शोभन दीप्ति से युक्त होकर हमारे यज्ञ में आओ, हम धनस्वामी, हव्य देने वाले एवं तुम्हारे मित्र हैं. तुम हमारे घरों को संपन्न बनाओ. (५)
EN English Translation
Oh my friend and Varun! You come to our yagna with shobhan deepti, we are wealthy, the giver of the havya and your friends. You make our homes thriving. (5)
यु॒वं नो॒ येषु॑ वरुण क्ष॒त्रं बृ॒हच्च॑ बिभृ॒थः । उ॒रु णो॒ वाज॑सातये कृ॒तं रा॒ये स्व॒स्तये॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मित्र एवं वरुण! तुम अपनी स्तुतियों के कारण हमारे लिए शक्ति एवं पर्याप्त अन्न धारण करते हो. तुम हमारे लिए अन्न, धन एवं कल्याण प्रदान करो. (६)
EN English Translation
Oh my friend and Varun! You hold on to us strength and enough food because of your praises. You provide us with food, wealth and welfare. (6)
उ॒च्छन्त्यां॑ मे यज॒ता दे॒वक्ष॑त्रे॒ रुश॑द्गवि । सु॒तं सोमं॒ न ह॒स्तिभि॒रा प॒ड्भिर्धा॑वतं नरा॒ बिभ्र॑तावर्च॒नान॑सम् ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे नेता मित्र व वरुण! उषाकाल की सुंदर किरणों वाले प्रातः सवन में एवं देवयज्ञ में निचोड़े गए सोमरस के कारण प्रसन्न होकर तुम अपने घोड़ों की सहायता से मुझ अर्चनाना के पास आओ. (७)
EN English Translation
O leader, friend and Varun! Pleased with the somras squeezed in the morning and in the devyagna with the beautiful rays of ushakaal, you come to me archana with the help of your horses. (7)
