प्र ब्रह्मै॑तु॒ सद॑नादृ॒तस्य॒ वि र॒श्मिभिः॑ ससृजे॒ सूर्यो॒ गाः । वि सानु॑ना पृथि॒वी स॑स्र उ॒र्वी पृ॒थु प्रती॑क॒मध्येधे॑ अ॒ग्निः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारा स्तोत्र यज्ञशाला से सूर्य आदि देवों के पास भली प्रकार जावें. सूर्य ने अपनी किरणों से वर्षा का जल बनाया है. पृथिवी अपने पर्वतों की चोटियों द्वारा विस्तृतरूप में फैली है. धरती के विस्तृत अंगों के ऊपर अग्नि प्रज्वलित होते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Let our hymn go well from the yajnashala to the sun etc. devas. The sun has made rain water from its rays. The Earth is extended by the peaks of its mountains. Fires are ignited over the wide limbs of the earth. (1)
इ॒मां वां॑ मित्रावरुणा सुवृ॒क्तिमिषं॒ न कृ॑ण्वे असुरा॒ नवी॑यः । इ॒नो वा॑म॒न्यः प॑द॒वीरद॑ब्धो॒ जनं॑ च मि॒त्रो य॑तति ब्रुवा॒णः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शक्तिशाली मित्र एवं वरुण! मैं हव्यरूप अन्न के समान नवीन स्तुति तुम्हें सुनाता हू. तुम में एक वरुण सबके स्वामी, शत्रुओं द्वारा अपराजित एवं धर्माधर्म के निर्णायक हैं एवं दूसरे मित्र हमारी स्तुति सुनकर प्राणियों को अपने काम में लगाते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
O powerful friend and Varuna! I tell you a new praise like food. One of you, Varuna, is the master of all, undefeated by enemies and decisive of Dharmadharma and other friends listen to our praise and put the creatures in their work. (2)
आ वात॑स्य॒ ध्रज॑तो रन्त इ॒त्या अपी॑पयन्त धे॒नवो॒ न सूदाः॑ । म॒हो दि॒वः सद॑ने॒ जाय॑मा॒नोऽचि॑क्रदद्वृष॒भः सस्मि॒न्नूध॑न् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वायु की गतियां सब ओर शोभा पाती हैं. दूध देने वाली गायों की वृद्धि होती है. महान् एवं सूर्य के स्थान अंतरिक्ष में उत्पन्न वर्षाकारक मेघ अंतरिक्ष में गरजता है. (३)
EN English Translation
The motions of the wind are adorned everywhere. Milking cows grow. The rain-bearing cloud generated in space in place of the great sun and the sun thunders in space. (3)
गि॒रा य ए॒ता यु॒नज॒द्धरी॑ त॒ इन्द्र॑ प्रि॒या सु॒रथा॑ शूर धा॒यू । प्र यो म॒न्युं रिरि॑क्षतो मि॒नात्या सु॒क्रतु॑मर्य॒मणं॑ ववृत्याम् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शूर इंद्र! जो व्यक्ति तुम्हारे प्यारे, शोभनगति एवं भारवाहक हरि नामक घोड़ों को स्तुति करता हुआ रथ में जोड़ता है, तुम उसके यज्ञ में आओ. मैं उन शोभनकर्म वाले अर्यमा को स्तुति के द्वारा बुलाता हूं, जो हिंसा करने वाले मेरे शत्रु का क्रोध नष्ट करते हैं. (४)
EN English Translation
O Shur Indra! Come to the yagna of the one who adds to the chariot praising your beloved, the horse bearer, the adornant and the load bearer Hari. I call through praise the virtuous Aryama who do violence, who destroy the wrath of my enemy who commits violence. (4)
यज॑न्ते अस्य स॒ख्यं वय॑श्च नम॒स्विनः॒ स्व ऋ॒तस्य॒ धाम॑न् । वि पृक्षो॑ बाबधे॒ नृभिः॒ स्तवा॑न इ॒दं नमो॑ रु॒द्राय॒ प्रेष्ठ॑म् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
अन्न वाले यजमान अपने यज्ञ में स्थित रहकर कर्म करते हुए रुद्र की मित्रता चाहते हैं. रुद्र नेताओं को स्तुति सुनकर अन्न देते हैं. मैं रद्र को नमस्कार करता हूं. (५)
EN English Translation
The food hosts want rudra's friendship while doing karma by staying in their yajna. Rudra gives food to the leaders by listening to the praise. I salute The Lord. (5)
आ यत्सा॒कं य॒शसो॑ वावशा॒नाः सर॑स्वती स॒प्तथी॒ सिन्धु॑माता । याः सु॒ष्वय॑न्त सु॒दुघाः॑ सुधा॒रा अ॒भि स्वेन॒ पय॑सा॒ पीप्या॑नाः ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिन नदियों में सिंधु जलों की माता है, सरस्वती जिन में सातवीं हैं, वे अभिलाषा पूर्ण करने में समर्थ एवं शोभनधाराओं वाली सरिताएं प्रवाहित होती हैं. अपने जल से भरी हुई अन्न वाली एवं कामना करती हुई नदियां एक साथ आवें. (६)
EN English Translation
The rivers in which the Indus is the mother of the waters, the Saraswati, in which the seventh is, are able to satisfy the desire and flow the streams with adornments. Let the rivers with their water-filled food and desire come together. (6)
उ॒त त्ये नो॑ म॒रुतो॑ मन्दसा॒ना धियं॑ तो॒कं च॑ वा॒जिनो॑ऽवन्तु । मा नः॒ परि॑ ख्य॒दक्ष॑रा॒ चर॒न्त्यवी॑वृध॒न्युज्यं॒ ते र॒यिं नः॑ ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
प्रसन्न एवं वेगशाली मरुद्गण हमारे यज्ञ और पुत्र की रक्षा करें, व्याप्त एवं संचरण करने वाली वाग्देवी सरस्वती हमारे अतिरिक्त किसी को न देखें. ये दोनों मिलकर हमारे धन को बढ़ावें. (७)
EN English Translation
May the happy and fast-paced deserts protect our yajna and son, the pervading and transmitting Vagdevi Saraswati, do not see anyone but us. Let's both of them increase our wealth together. (7)
प्र वो॑ म॒हीम॒रम॑तिं कृणुध्वं॒ प्र पू॒षणं॑ विद॒थ्यं१॒॑ न वी॒रम् । भगं॑ धि॒यो॑ऽवि॒तारं॑ नो अ॒स्याः सा॒तौ वाजं॑ राति॒षाचं॒ पुरं॑धिम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोताओ! तुम सोमरहित एवं विस्तृत धरती को बुलाओ. यज्ञ के योग्य एवं वीर पूषा को बुलाओ. तुम इस यज्ञ में हमारे कमो के रक्षक भग एवं दानकुशल व प्राचीन बाज को बुलाओ. (८)
EN English Translation
This stotao! You call to the earth without somp and wide. Call the worthy and heroic pusha of the yajna. You call the lord and the protector of our kamo to this yajna and the dankushala and the ancient hawk. (8)
अच्छा॒यं वो॑ मरुतः॒ श्लोक॑ ए॒त्वच्छा॒ विष्णुं॑ निषिक्त॒पामवो॑भिः । उ॒त प्र॒जायै॑ गृण॒ते वयो॑ धुर्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे मरुतो! हमारी ये स्तुतियां तुम्हारे सामने जावें. ये हमारे रक्षक एवं गर्भपालक विष्णु के पास जावें. वे स्तोता को संतान एवं अन्न दें. तुम अपने कल्याणसाधनों से हमारी सदा रक्षा करो. (९)
EN English Translation
O Maruto! May these praises of ours go before you. Let them go to our protector and guardian Vishnu. They give the son and grain to The Stota. You always protect us with your welfare means. (9)
