ऊपर की ओर गति करने वाले अग्नि मुझ स्तोता की शोभनस्तुति को सुनें. सब लोगों को बूढ़ा बनाने वाली एवं पूर्व की ओर मुंह करने वाली उषा यज्ञ में जाती है. श्रद्धायुक्त यजमान एवं उसकी पत्नी रथस्वामियों के समान यज्ञमार्ग पर आते हैं. हमारे द्वारा भेजा हुआ स्तोता यज्ञ करता है. (१)

Listen to the beauty of the agni me parrot, the agni moving upwards. Usha, who makes all the people old and faces east, goes to the yagna. The revered host and his wife come on the path of yajna like the charioteers. The hymn sent by us performs the yajna. (1)
