पान्त॒मा वो॒ अन्ध॑स॒ इन्द्र॑म॒भि प्र गा॑यत । वि॒श्वा॒साहं॑ श॒तक्र॑तुं॒ मंहि॑ष्ठं चर्षणी॒नाम् ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! सोमरस पीने वाले अपने इंद्र की विशेष रूप से स्तुति करो. इंद्र सभी शत्रुओं को हराने वाले, सौ यज्ञ करने वाले एवं प्रजाओं को सर्वाधिक धन देने वाले हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! Somers drinkers especially praise their Indra. Indra is the one who defeats all the enemies, performs a hundred yagnas and gives the most money to the people. (1)
पु॒रु॒हू॒तं पु॑रुष्टु॒तं गा॑था॒न्यं१॒॑ सन॑श्रुतम् । इन्द्र॒ इति॑ ब्रवीतन ॥ (२)

हे ऋत्विजो! तुम अनेक लोगों द्वारा बुलाए हुए, बहुत से लोगों द्वारा स्तुति, यज्ञगान के योग्य एवं सनातनरूप से प्रसिद्ध देव विशेष को इंद्र कहना. (२)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! You are called by many, praised by many, worthy of yajna singing and calling indra to the famous god special in eternal form. (2)
इन्द्र॒ इन्नो॑ म॒हानां॑ दा॒ता वाजा॑नां नृ॒तुः । म॒हाँ अ॑भि॒ज्ञ्वा य॑मत् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमें महान् अन्न देने वाले, बहुसंख्यक धन देने वाले और सबको बचाने वाले इंद्र हमारे सामने आकर धन प्रदान करें. (३)
EN English Translation
May Indra, who gives us great food, give us the majority money and saves all, come before us and give us money. (3)
अपा॑दु शि॒प्र्यन्ध॑सः सु॒दक्ष॑स्य प्रहो॒षिणः॑ । इन्दो॒रिन्द्रो॒ यवा॑शिरः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शोभन नासिका वाले इंद्र ने भली प्रकार होम करने वाले सुदक्ष नामक ऋषि के दिए हुए सोमरस को पिया था, जो भुने हुए जौ से मिला तथा पात्रों में निचुड़ रहा था. (४)
EN English Translation
Indra, with shobhan nasika, had drunk the somarous given by a well-to-do sage named Sudax, who met the roasted barley and was settling in the characters. (4)
तम्व॒भि प्रार्च॒तेन्द्रं॒ सोम॑स्य पी॒तये॑ । तदिद्ध्य॑स्य॒ वर्ध॑नम् ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे ऋत्विजो! सोमरस पीने के लिए इंद्र के सामने जाकर उनकी स्तुति करो. वह सोमपान ही इंद्र को बढ़ाता है. (५)
EN English Translation
Hey Ritvijo! Go in front of Indra to drink somers and praise him. That sompan itself increases Indra. (5)
अ॒स्य पी॒त्वा मदा॑नां दे॒वो दे॒वस्यौज॑सा । विश्वा॒भि भुव॑ना भुवत् ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
दीप्तिशाली इंद्र सोम के नशीले रस को पीकर अपनी शक्ति द्वारा सारे संसार को पराजित करते हैं. (६)
EN English Translation
The bright-willed Indra defeats the whole world by drinking the intoxicating juices of Som and defeats the whole world with his power. (6)
त्यमु॑ वः सत्रा॒साहं॒ विश्वा॑सु गी॒र्ष्वाय॑तम् । आ च्या॑वयस्यू॒तये॑ ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तोता! बहुतों को पराजित करने वाले एवं सभी स्तुतिवचनों में व्याप्त इंद्र को रक्षा के लिए भली प्रकार बुलाओ. (७)
EN English Translation
This is the hymn! Call upon Indra, who defeats many and pervades all praises, to protect him. (7)
यु॒ध्मं सन्त॑मन॒र्वाणं॑ सोम॒पामन॑पच्युतम् । नर॑मवा॒र्यक्र॑तुम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शत्रुसंहारक, सत्ता वाले, अन्यों द्वारा अनाक्रांत, सोमरस पीने वाले, युद्धो में शत्रुओं द्वारा अपराजित एवं नेता इंद्र को कोई बाधा नहीं पहुंचा सकता. (८)
EN English Translation
No one can hinder the enemy destroyer, the in power, the unarmed by others, the somras the drinker, the undefeated by the enemies in wars, and the leader Indra. (8)
शिक्षा॑ ण इन्द्र रा॒य आ पु॒रु वि॒द्वाँ ऋ॑चीषम । अवा॑ नः॒ पार्ये॒ धने॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे स्तुति द्वारा संबोधन करने योग्य एवं विद्वान् इंद्र! शत्रुओं का धन लेकर हमें अनेक बार दो. (९)
EN English Translation
O you are able to address by praise and scholarly Indra! Take the money of the enemies and give it to us many times. (9)
अत॑श्चिदिन्द्र ण॒ उपा या॑हि श॒तवा॑जया । इ॒षा स॒हस्र॑वाजया ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! द्युलोक से ही सैकड़ों अन्नों एवं हजारों शक्तियों से युक्त होकर हमारे पास आओ. (१०)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Come to us with hundreds of grains and thousands of powers from Dulok itself. (10)
अया॑म॒ धीव॑तो॒ धियोऽर्व॑द्भिः शक्र गोदरे । जये॑म पृ॒त्सु व॑ज्रिवः ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे समर्थ इंद्र! यज्ञकर्मयुक्त हम युद्ध में शत्रुओं को जीतने के लिए यज्ञ करेंगे. हे पर्वतो को विदीर्ण करने वाले एवं व्रधारी इंद्र! हम युद्धो में घोड़ों के द्वारा विजयी बनेंगे. (११)
EN English Translation
O able Indra! With yajnakarma, we will perform yajna to win the enemies in the war. O Indra, who destroys the mountains and destroys them! We will be victorious in wars by horses. (11)
व॒यमु॑ त्वा शतक्रतो॒ गावो॒ न यव॑से॒ष्वा । उ॒क्थेषु॑ रणयामसि ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अनेक कमो वाले इंद्र! गोपाल गायों को जिस प्रकार जौ के खेत में विशेष रूप से प्रसन्न करता है, उसी प्रकार हम तुम्हें उकथों द्वारा प्रसन्न करेंगे. (१२)
EN English Translation
O indra with many many commen! Just as Gopal makes the cows especially happy in the barley field, so we will please you by the eagles. (12)
विश्वा॒ हि म॑र्त्यत्व॒नानु॑का॒मा श॑तक्रतो । अग॑न्म वज्रिन्ना॒शसः॑ ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सौ यज्ञों वाले इंद्र! संसार के सभी लोग इच्छाएं रखते हैं. हे वज्रधारी इंद्र! हम भी मनचाही वस्तुएं प्राप्त करें. (१३)
EN English Translation
O Indra of a hundred yagnas! All the people of the world have desires. O thunderbolt Indra! We also get the desired items. (13)
त्वे सु पु॑त्र शव॒सोऽवृ॑त्र॒न्काम॑कातयः । न त्वामि॒न्द्राति॑ रिच्यते ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बलपुत्र इंद्र! अभिलाषापूर्ण शब्द बोलने वाले लोग तुम्हारा सहारा लेते हैं. कोई भी देव तुमसे बढ़कर नहीं हो सकता. (१४)
EN English Translation
O son of strength Indra! People who speak the words of desire take your help. No god can be greater than you. (14)
स नो॑ वृष॒न्सनि॑ष्ठया॒ सं घो॒रया॑ द्रवि॒त्न्वा । धि॒यावि॑ड्ढि॒ पुरं॑ध्या ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अभिलाषापूरक इंद्र! तुम सर्वाधिक धन देने वाली, शत्रुओं को भयभीत करने वाली, शञ्रुओं को भगाने वाली एवं अनेक को धारण करने वाली यज्ञक्रिया के द्वारा हमारा पालन करो. (१५)
EN English Translation
Oh, this desireful Indra! You follow us through the yajna kriyata that gives the most money, frightens enemies, drives away the devils and holds many. (15)
यस्ते॑ नू॒नं श॑तक्रत॒विन्द्र॑ द्यु॒म्नित॑मो॒ मदः॑ । तेन॑ नू॒नं मदे॑ मदेः ॥ (१६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सौ यज्ञों वाले इंद्र! प्राचीनकाल में हमने तुम्हारे लिए जो सर्वाधिक यज्ञ वाला सोमरस निचोड़ा था, उसके द्वारा प्रमुदित होकर एवं धन देकर हमें प्रसन्न बनाओ. (१६)
EN English Translation
O Indra of a hundred yagnas! Please us by being merried and given money by the most sacrificial somras that we squeezed for you in ancient times. (16)
यस्ते॑ चि॒त्रश्र॑वस्तमो॒ य इ॑न्द्र वृत्र॒हन्त॑मः । य ओ॑जो॒दात॑मो॒ मदः॑ ॥ (१७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमने तुम्हारे निमित्त अतिशय कीर्ति वाला, पापों का सर्वाधिक नाशक एवं अतिशय बलदाता सोमरस निचोड़ा है. (१७)
EN English Translation
O Indra! We have squeezed for you someras, the most virtuous of the sins, and the most powerful. (17)
वि॒द्मा हि यस्ते॑ अद्रिव॒स्त्वाद॑त्तः सत्य सोमपाः । विश्वा॑सु दस्म कृ॒ष्टिषु॑ ॥ (१८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वज्रधारी, यथार्थ कर्म वाले, सोमरस पीने वाले एवं दर्शनीय इंद्र! सभी यजमानों के पास तुम्हारा दिया हुआ जो धन है, हम उसीको जानते हैं. (१८)
EN English Translation
O vajradhari, those with real deeds, those who drink somras and see indra! We know the wealth you have given to all hosts. (18)
इन्द्रा॑य॒ मद्व॑ने सु॒तं परि॑ ष्टोभन्तु नो॒ गिरः॑ । अ॒र्कम॑र्चन्तु का॒रवः॑ ॥ (१९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जो सोमरस नशा करने वाले इंद्र के लिए निचोड़ा गया है, उसकी स्तुति हमारे वचन करें. हम स्तुति करने वाले सोमरस की पूजा करें. (१९)
EN English Translation
Praise the Somras who have been squeezed for the intoxicating Indra, let us praise him. Let us worship the eulogising Somras. (19)
यस्मि॒न्विश्वा॒ अधि॒ श्रियो॒ रण॑न्ति स॒प्त सं॒सदः॑ । इन्द्रं॑ सु॒ते ह॑वामहे ॥ (२०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जिन इंद्र में सभी कांतियां आश्रित हैं एवं सात होताओं का समूह जिन्हें सोमरस देकर प्रसन्न होता है, उन इंद्र को मैं सोमरस निचुड़ जाने पर बुलाता हूं. (२०)
EN English Translation
I call indra in whom all the kantis are dependents and a group of seven to whom somers are pleased to give, when I go to somers nichur. (20)
त्रिक॑द्रुकेषु॒ चेत॑नं दे॒वासो॑ य॒ज्ञम॑त्नत । तमिद्व॑र्धन्तु नो॒ गिरः॑ ॥ (२१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे देवो! तुमने त्रिकद्रुक अर्थात् ज्योति, गौ और वायु पाने के लिए ज्ञानसाधन यज्ञ का विस्तार किया था. हमारी स्तुतियां उस यज्ञ को बढ़ावें. (२१)
EN English Translation
Oh, God! You extended the Gyansadhan Yajna to get trikadruk i.e. jyoti, gau and vayu. May our praises enhance that sacrifice. (21)
आ त्वा॑ विश॒न्त्विन्द॑वः समु॒द्रमि॑व॒ सिन्ध॑वः । न त्वामि॒न्द्राति॑ रिच्यते ॥ (२२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! सरिताएं जिस प्रकार सागर में गिरती हैं, उसी प्रकार सोमरस तुम में प्रवेश करे. कोई भी देव तुमसे बढ़कर नहीं है. (२२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Just as the saritas fall into the sea, so may somers enter you. There is no god greater than you. (22)
वि॒व्यक्थ॑ महि॒ना वृ॑षन्भ॒क्षं सोम॑स्य जागृवे । य इ॑न्द्र ज॒ठरे॑षु ते ॥ (२३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अभिलाषापूरक एवं जागरणशील इंद्र! तुम अपनी महिमा के द्वारा सोमरस पीने में सबसे अधिक हुए हो. हे इंद्र! सोमरस तुम्हारे उदर में प्रवेश करता है. (२३)
EN English Translation
This desireful and awakening Indra! You've been most involved in drinking somras by your glory. O Indra! The somras enters your abdomen. (23)
अरं॑ त इन्द्र कु॒क्षये॒ सोमो॑ भवतु वृत्रहन् । अरं॒ धाम॑भ्य॒ इन्द॑वः ॥ (२४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वृत्रहंता इंद्र! सोमरस तुम्हारे उदर के लिए पर्याप्त हो. निचोड़ा गया सोमरस तुम्हारे शरीरों के लिए पर्याप्त हो. (२४)
EN English Translation
O Vrithrahanta Indra! Somers are enough for your stomach. The squeezed somers are enough for your bodies. (24)
अर॒मश्वा॑य गायति श्रु॒तक॑क्षो॒ अरं॒ गवे॑ । अर॒मिन्द्र॑स्य॒ धाम्ने॑ ॥ (२५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
मैं श्रुतकक्ष ऋषि इंद्र से अश्व, गाएं एवं निवासस्थान पाने के लिए पर्याप्त स्तुति करता हुं. (२५)
EN English Translation
I praise the shrutaksha sage Indra enough to get the horse, sing and abode. (25)
अरं॒ हि ष्म॑ सु॒तेषु॑ णः॒ सोमे॑ष्विन्द्र॒ भूष॑सि । अरं॑ ते शक्र दा॒वने॑ ॥ (२६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हमारे सोमरस निचुड़ जाने पर तुम उन्हें पीने के लिए पर्याप्त हो. हे दानशील एवं शक्तिशाली इंद्र! सोमरस तुम्हारे लिए पर्याप्त हो. (२६)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You're enough to drink them when our somras go to Nikud. O godly and mighty Indra! Somers are enough for you. (26)
प॒रा॒कात्ता॑च्चिदद्रिव॒स्त्वां न॑क्षन्त नो॒ गिरः॑ । अरं॑ गमाम ते व॒यम् ॥ (२७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे वज्रधारी इंद्र! हमारे स्तुतिवचन दूर रहकर भी तुम्हें प्राप्त हों. तुमसे हम पर्याप्त धन प्राप्त करें. (२७)
EN English Translation
O thunderbolt Indra! May our praise be received by you even while staying away. From you we get enough money. (27)
ए॒वा ह्यसि॑ वीर॒युरे॒वा शूर॑ उ॒त स्थि॒रः । ए॒वा ते॒ राध्यं॒ मनः॑ ॥ (२८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम वीरों की इच्छा करने वाले, शूर एवं स्थिर हो. तुम्हारा मन आराधना करने योग्य है. (२८)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are the ones who desire heroes, the brave and the stable. Your mind is worthy of worship. (28)
ए॒वा रा॒तिस्तु॑वीमघ॒ विश्वे॑भिर्धायि धा॒तृभिः॑ । अधा॑ चिदिन्द्र मे॒ सचा॑ ॥ (२९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अधिक धन वाले इंद्र! सभी यजमान तुम्हारा दिया हुआ धन धारण करते हैं. तुम मेरे साथी बनो. (२९)
EN English Translation
O Indra with more wealth! All hosts hold the money you have given. You be my partner. (29)
मो षु ब्र॒ह्मेव॑ तन्द्र॒युर्भुवो॑ वाजानां पते । मत्स्वा॑ सु॒तस्य॒ गोम॑तः ॥ (३०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अन्नों के स्वामी इंद्र! तुम स्तोता के समान आलसी मत बनना. तुम गोदुग्ध मिला हुआ सोमरस पीकर प्रसन्न बनो. (३०)
EN English Translation
O Indra, lord of the grains! Don't you become as lazy as The Stota. Be happy to drink the mixed somers. (30)
