हे सोम! तुम जिस समय उन्नत एवं भेड़ के बालों से बने दशापवित्र पर जाते हो, तब तुम्हारी उत्पत्ति के समय यज्ञ करने के अभिलाषी यजमान के मुख से ऋक्, यजु एवं साम के रूप में तीन वचन निकलते हैं. (२)
