यवं॑यवं नो॒ अन्ध॑सा पु॒ष्टम्पु॑ष्टं॒ परि॑ स्रव । सोम॒ विश्वा॑ च॒ सौभ॑गा ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम हमें अन्न के साथ पके हुए जौ अधिक मात्रा में दो तथा अन्य सौभाग्यसूचक संपत्तियां भी दो. (१)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You give us more quantity of cooked barley with grain and other fortunate properties. (1)
इन्दो॒ यथा॒ तव॒ स्तवो॒ यथा॑ ते जा॒तमन्ध॑सः । नि ब॒र्हिषि॑ प्रि॒ये स॑दः ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोमरूप अन्न! तुम अपनी स्तुतियों एवं जन्म के अनुरूप हमारे यज्ञ में अपने प्रिय कुशों पर बैठो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Somrupa Food! You sit on your beloved kushas in our yajna in accordance with your praises and birth. (2)
उ॒त नो॑ गो॒विद॑श्व॒वित्पव॑स्व सो॒मान्ध॑सा । म॒क्षूत॑मेभि॒रह॑भिः ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! तुम हमें गाएं एवं घोड़े देते हो. तुम थोड़े दिनों में ही अन्न के साथ धारा के रूप में टपको. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! You sing and give us horses. You tap as you stream with the grain only in a few days. (3)
यो जि॒नाति॒ न जीय॑ते॒ हन्ति॒ शत्रु॑म॒भीत्य॑ । स प॑वस्व सहस्रजित् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे असंख्य शत्रुओं को जीतने वाले सोम! तुम शत्रुओं को मारते हो, शन्रु तुम्हें नहीं मार सकते. तुम टपको. (४)
EN English Translation
O Mon conquering the innumerable enemies! You kill enemies, you can't kill you. You tap. (4)
