परि॒ सोम॑ ऋ॒तं बृ॒हदा॒शुः प॒वित्रे॑ अर्षति । वि॒घ्नन्रक्षां॑सि देव॒युः ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
शीघ्रगति वाले व देवों के अभिलाषी सोम दशापवित्र पर स्थित होकर राक्षसों को नष्ट करते हैं एवं हमें विशाल अन्न देते हैं. (१)
EN English Translation
The fast-paced and desiring mons of the gods, situated on the dashapavittra, destroys the demons and gives us huge food. (1)
यत्सोमो॒ वाज॒मर्ष॑ति श॒तं धारा॑ अप॒स्युवः॑ । इन्द्र॑स्य स॒ख्यमा॑वि॒शन् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
जब सोम की यज्ञाभिलाषिणी सौ धाराएं इंद्र की मित्रता प्राप्त करती हैं, तब वह हमारे लिए अन्न देते हैं. (२)
EN English Translation
When the yajnabhilashani of Soma receives the friendship of Indra, then he gives us food. (2)
अ॒भि त्वा॒ योष॑णो॒ दश॑ जा॒रं न क॒न्या॑नूषत । मृ॒ज्यसे॑ सोम सा॒तये॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे सोम! कन्या जिस प्रकार अपने यार को बुलाती है, उसी प्रकार शब्द करती हुई दस उंगलियां हमें धन देने के लिए तुम्हें मसलती हैं. (३)
EN English Translation
Hey Mon! Just as a virgo calls her man, in the same way, ten fingers saying the word tease you to give us money. (3)
त्वमिन्द्रा॑य॒ विष्ण॑वे स्वा॒दुरि॑न्दो॒ परि॑ स्रव । नॄन्स्तो॒तॄन्पा॒ह्यंह॑सः ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे प्रिय रस वाले सोम! तुम इंद्र और विष्णु के लिए रस टपकाओ एवं यज्ञकर्म के नेताओं तथा अपने स्तोताओं की पाप से रक्षा करों. (४)
EN English Translation
O dear rasa wale mon! You pour out the juice for Indra and Vishnu and protect the leaders of the yagnakarma and your stoetas from sin. (4)
