इ॒मौ ते॑ प॒क्षाव॒जरौ॑ पत॒त्त्रिणौ॒ याभ्या॒ रक्षा॑स्यप॒हस्य॑ग्ने । ताभ्यां॑ पतेम सु॒कृता॑मु लो॒कं यत्र॒ऽऋष॑यो ज॒ग्मुः प्र॑थम॒जाः पु॑रा॒णाः ॥ (५२)

हे अग्नि! आप के दोनों पंख अजर हैं. सदैव उड़ने के लिए तत्पर हैं. दोनों पंख से आप राक्षसों का नाश करते हैं. आप उन दोनों पंखों से श्रेष्ठ कर्म करने बालों के उस लोक में प्रस्थान कीजिए, जहां पहले ही उत्पन्न पुरातन ऋषिगण जा चुके हैं. (५२)
EN English Translation
O agni! Both wings of you are ajar. Always ready to fly. With both wings, you destroy the demons. You should go to the world of hair to do the best deeds from those two wings, where the ancient sages already born have gone. (52)
