बनस्पति देव देवों के देव और सुनहरे पत्तों वाले फलों के स्वामी हैं. वनस्पति देव अश्विनीकुमारों तथा सरस्वती देवी ने इंद्र देव को अच्छे मीठे फल से पाया. इंद्र देव में ओज तथा बल धारण कराया. अश्विनीकुमारों ने इंद्र देव की आंखों में दृष्टि की स्थापना की. इंद्र देव धनधारी हैं. हमारे लिए धन धारें. धन के इच्छुक यजमान उस के लिए कल्याणकारी यज्ञ करने की कृपा करें.
