दे॒व॒श्रुतौ॑ दे॒वेष्वाघो॑षतं॒ प्राची॒ प्रेत॑मध्व॒रं क॒ल्पय॑न्तीऽऊ॒र्ध्वं य॒ज्ञं न॑यतं॒ मा जि॑ह्वरतम् । स्वं गो॒ष्ठमाव॑दतं देवी दुर्ये॒ऽआयु॒र्मा निर्वा॒दिष्टं प्र॒जां मा निर्वा॑दिष्ट॒मत्र॑ रमेथां॒ वर्ष्म॑न् पृथि॒व्याः ॥ (१७)

हे देवो! आप दिव्य विधाओं में दक्ष हैं. आप देवताओं की सभा में यह घोषणा करने की कृपा करें कि देवगण यज्ञ को पूर्व दिशा में पहुंचाते हैं. वे यज्ञ को इष्ट दिशा में पहुंचाते हैं. देवगण यज्ञ को फलीभूत करते हैं. देवगण यज्ञ को ऊंचाई पर पहुंचाते हैं. आगे गायों के बाड़े में (गोशाला में) घोषणा करने की कृपा करें कि देवता यजमान को आयु प्रदान करने की कृपा करें. देवता यजमान को निंदित न होने दें. देवता यजमान को सुखपूर्वक रहने का आशीर्वाद प्रदान करते हैं. देवगण पृथ्वी के इन स्थानों पर सुख से वास करने की कृपा करें. (१७)

Oh my God! You are proficient in divine genres. Please announce in the meeting of the deities that Devgan leads the yajna in the east direction. They lead the yajna in the desired direction. Devgans bring yajna to fruition. Devgans take the yajna to a height. Further, please declare in the enclosure of the cows (in the cow shed) that the deity should be kind to grant age to the host. Don't let the deity condemn the host. The deities bless the host to live happily. May God bless you to live happily in these places of the earth. (17)
