दे॒वस्य॑ त्वा सवि॒तुः प्र॑स॒वेऽश्विनो॑र्बा॒हुभ्यां॑ पू॒ष्णो हस्ता॑भ्याम् । आद॑दे॒ नार्य॑सी॒दम॒हꣳ रक्ष॑सां ग्रीवाऽअपि॑कृन्तामि । यवो॑ऽसि य॒वया॒स्मद् द्वेषो॑ य॒वयारा॑तीर्दि॒वे त्वा॒ऽन्तरि॑क्षाय त्वा पृथि॒व्यै त्वा॒ शुन्ध॑न्ताँल्लो॒काः पि॑तृ॒षद॑नाः पितृ॒षद॑नमसि ॥ (१)

हे यज्ञ साधनो! आप देवताओं के नायक हैं. हम आप को सविता द्वारा प्रेरित अश्विनीकुमारों की बांहों से ग्रहण करते हैं. हम आप को पूषा देव के हाथों से ग्रहण करते हैं, जो आर्य नहीं हैं. (आप आइए) आप उन राक्षसों की गरदनों पर प्रहार कीजिए. आप हमारे मित्र हैं. आप हमारे द्वेषियों को हम से दूर करने की कृपा कीजिए. हम स्वर्गलोक, अंतरिक्ष व पृथ्वी के लिए आप को पवित्र करते हैं. आप हमारे लिए पिता की तरह हैं. आप का घर हमारे लिए पिता के घर की तरह है.(१)

O sacrificial instruments! You are the hero of the gods. We receive you from the arms of Ashwinikumars inspired by Savita. We receive you from the hands of Pusha Dev, who is not an Aryan. (You come) you strike the necks of those demons. You are our friend. Please keep our malice away from us. We sanctify you for heaven, space and earth. You are like a father to us.
