स्नान के लिए तैयार (उद्यत) सोम सिंधु है. उन्हें उन के नाम से आहुति दीजिए. समुद्र (घड़े) में रखे हुए सोम के लिए उन के नाम से आहुति दीजिए. जल में व्याप्त सोम को उन के नाम से आहुति दीजिए. जिन दोनों देवों (वरुण-विष्णु) के ओज से ओजवान हैं, उन्हें उन के नाम से आहुति दीजिए. जिन के पराक्रम से पराक्रमी हैं. जिन की क्षमता से सामर्थ्यवान हैं, यज्ञ में प्रथम आहुति पाने वाले देवों के लिए यह आहुति अर्पित की जा रही है. (५९)
EN English Translation
Ready for bathing (udyat) som is Sindhu. Sacrifice them in their name. Offer in his name for the som kept in the sea (pitcher). Offer the som in the water in his name. Offer the two gods (Varuna-Vishnu) who are energetic with their name. Whose might is mighty. This sacrifice is being offered to the gods who have got the first sacrifice in the yajna, who are capable of their ability. (59)
