त्वं नो॑ अग्ने॒ महो॑भिः पा॒हि विश्व॑स्या॒ अरा॑तेः । उ॒त द्वि॒षो मर्त्य॑स्य ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! तुम महाधन देकर दानरहित लोगों से हमारी रक्षा करो एवं हमें शत्रु लोगों से बचाओ. (१)
EN English Translation
O agni! Protect us from the unspoken people by giving us great money and save us from the enemy. (1)
न॒हि म॒न्युः पौरु॑षेय॒ ईशे॒ हि वः॑ प्रियजात । त्वमिद॑सि॒ क्षपा॑वान् ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे प्रिय जन्म वाले अग्नि! पुरुषों का क्रोध तुम्हें बाधा नहीं पहुंचा सकता. तुम ही रात में तेजस्वी हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O beloved born agni! The anger of men can't hinder you. You're the only one stunning at night. (2)
स नो॒ विश्वे॑भिर्दे॒वेभि॒रूर्जो॑ नपा॒द्भद्र॑शोचे । र॒यिं दे॑हि वि॒श्ववा॑रम् ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे शक्ति के नाती एवं स्तुति योग्य प्रकाश वाले अग्नि! तुम सब देवों के साथ मिलकर हमें सबके वरण करने योग्य धन दो. (३)
EN English Translation
O the grandson of power and the agni of the light of praise! Together with all of you gods, give us all the money worth choosing. (3)
न तम॑ग्ने॒ अरा॑तयो॒ मर्तं॑ युवन्त रा॒यः । यं त्राय॑से दा॒श्वांस॑म् ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! तुम जिस हव्यदाता यजमान का पालन करते हो, उसे धनी एवं दानरहित लोग अपने से अलग नहीं कर सकते. (४)
EN English Translation
O agni! The husbandly host you follow cannot be separated from you by the rich and the unsung of charity. (4)
यं त्वं वि॑प्र मे॒धसा॑ता॒वग्ने॑ हि॒नोषि॒ धना॑य । स तवो॒ती गोषु॒ गन्ता॑ ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! जिस हव्यदाता यजमान का तुम यज्ञ में धन देने के लिए प्रेरित करते हो, वह तुम्हारे द्वारा सुरक्षित होकर गायों वाला बनता है. (५)
EN English Translation
O agni! The havan-giver host whom you are inspired to give money in the yagna becomes a cow-lover protected by you. (5)
त्वं र॒यिं पु॑रु॒वीर॒मग्ने॑ दा॒शुषे॒ मर्ता॑य । प्र णो॑ नय॒ वस्यो॒ अच्छ॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे अग्नि! तुम हव्य देने वाले मनुष्य को अनेक वीर पुत्रों से युक्त धन देते हो, इसलिए हमें भी निवासस्थान देने योग्य धन दो. (६)
EN English Translation
O agni! You give money to the man who gives the havya with many brave sons, so give us the money to be given the dwelling place. (6)
उ॒रु॒ष्या णो॒ मा परा॑ दा अघाय॒ते जा॑तवेदः । दु॒रा॒ध्ये॒३॒॑ मर्ता॑य ॥ (७)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे जातवेद अग्नि! हमारी रक्षा करो. हमें पाप की इच्छा करने वाले एवं हिंसकबुद्धि मनुष्य को मत सौंपो. (७)
EN English Translation
O Jativeda Agni! Protect us. Don't give us a man who desires sin and has a violent mind. (7)
अग्ने॒ माकि॑ष्टे दे॒वस्य॑ रा॒तिमदे॑वो युयोत । त्वमी॑शिषे॒ वसू॑नाम् ॥ (८)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे दीप्तिशाली अग्नि! तुम धनों के स्वामी हो. कोई भी देवरहित व्यक्ति तुम्हारे दान को दूर नहीं कर सकता. (८)
EN English Translation
O glorious agni! You are the master of wealth. No godless person can take away your charity. (8)
स नो॒ वस्व॒ उप॑ मा॒स्यूर्जो॑ नपा॒न्माहि॑नस्य । सखे॑ वसो जरि॒तृभ्यः॑ ॥ (९)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे बल के नाती, सखा एवं निवासस्थान देने वाले अग्नि! तुम हम स्तोताओं को महान् धन दो. (९)
EN English Translation
O the grandson of the force, the protector and the agni that gives the abode! You give great money to the stoes. (9)
अच्छा॑ नः शी॒रशो॑चिषं॒ गिरो॑ यन्तु दर्श॒तम् । अच्छा॑ य॒ज्ञासो॒ नम॑सा पुरू॒वसुं॑ पुरुप्रश॒स्तमू॒तये॑ ॥ (१०)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हमारी स्तुतियां जलाने वाली ज्वालाओं से युक्त एवं दर्शनीय अग्नि के सामने जावें. रक्षा पाने के लिए हमारे यज्ञ हव्य अन्न से युक्त होकर अधिक धन वाले एवं बहुतों द्वारा प्रशंसित अग्नि के समीप जाएं. (१०)
EN English Translation
Let our praises be in front of a visible agni with burning flames. To get protection, our yajnas are rich in food and go to the agni that is rich and admired by many. (10)
अ॒ग्निं सू॒नुं सह॑सो जा॒तवे॑दसं दा॒नाय॒ वार्या॑णाम् । द्वि॒ता यो भूद॒मृतो॒ मर्त्ये॒ष्वा होता॑ म॒न्द्रत॑मो वि॒शि ॥ (११)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सभी स्तुतियां वरण करने योग्य, धनदान के निमित्त, बल के पुत्र एवं जातधन अग्नि के सामने जाएं. मरणरहित अग्नि मनुष्यों में दो रूपों में रहते हैं. देवों में अमर एवं मानवों में होम पूरा करने वाले तथा प्रजाओं में अतिशय प्रसन्न करने वाले. (११)
EN English Translation
All praises are worthy of choice, for the sake of wealth donation, the sons of force and jati should go before the agni. The deathless agnis in humans live in two forms. Those who are immortal among the gods and complete the home among the human beings and those who are very happy among the people. (11)
अ॒ग्निं वो॑ देवय॒ज्यया॒ग्निं प्र॑य॒त्य॑ध्व॒रे । अ॒ग्निं धी॒षु प्र॑थ॒मम॒ग्निमर्व॑त्य॒ग्निं क्षैत्रा॑य॒ साध॑से ॥ (१२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे यजमानो! मैं तुम्हारे देवसंबंधी यज्ञ के आरंभ होने पर अग्नि की स्तुति करता हूं. मैं यज्ञ प्रारंभ करने के समय, बंधु-भाव प्राप्त होने पर एवं क्षेत्र-लाभ होने पर सब देवों से पहले अग्नि की स्तुति करता हूं. (१२)
EN English Translation
O hosts! I praise the agni at the beginning of your dev-related yajna. I praise agni before all the gods at the time of starting the yajna, when i get brotherhood and gain territory. (12)
अ॒ग्निरि॒षां स॒ख्ये द॑दातु न॒ ईशे॒ यो वार्या॑णाम् । अ॒ग्निं तो॒के तन॑ये॒ शश्व॑दीमहे॒ वसुं॒ सन्तं॑ तनू॒पाम् ॥ (१३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वरण करने योग्य धनों के स्वामी अग्नि हम मित्रों को अन्न दें. हम निवासस्थान देने वाले एवं अंगों का पालन करने वाले अग्नि से अपने पुत्र और पौत्र के लिए बहुत सा धन मांगते हैं. (१३)
EN English Translation
Fire, the lord of the selectable wealth, give food to our friends. We ask for a lot of money for our son and grandson from the agni, who gives the dwelling place and follows the organs. (13)
अ॒ग्निमी॑ळि॒ष्वाव॑से॒ गाथा॑भिः शी॒रशो॑चिषम् । अ॒ग्निं रा॒ये पु॑रुमीळ्ह श्रु॒तं नरो॒ऽग्निं सु॑दी॒तये॑ छ॒र्दिः ॥ (१४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे पुरुमीढ ऋषि! तुम मंत्रों द्वारा दाहक ज्वालाओं वाले अग्नि की स्तुति रक्षा एवं धन पाने के लिए करो. अन्य यजमान भी अग्नि की स्तुति करते हैं. तुम अग्नि से मेरे लिए घर मांगो. (१४)
EN English Translation
O sage! You praise the agni with burning flames through mantras to protect and gain wealth. Other hosts also praise the agni. You ask for a house for me by agni. (14)
अ॒ग्निं द्वेषो॒ योत॒वै नो॑ गृणीमस्य॒ग्निं शं योश्च॒ दात॑वे । विश्वा॑सु वि॒क्ष्व॑वि॒तेव॒ हव्यो॒ भुव॒द्वस्तु॑रृषू॒णाम् ॥ (१५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हम शत्रुओं से बचने के लिए सुख एवं भयहीनता के लिए अग्नि की स्तुति करते हैं. संपूर्ण प्रजाओं के रक्षक अग्नि ऋषियों को निवासस्थान देने वाले तथा बुलाने योग्य हैं. (१५)
EN English Translation
We praise agni for happiness and fearlessness to avoid enemies. The protectors of the entire nation are able to give the agni sages a place of residence and to be called. (15)
