मैं कल्याण करने वाले पितरों के सामने उपस्थित होता हूं. मैं यज्ञ की रक्षा करने वाले अग्नि के सामने उपस्थित होता हूं. इसलिए जो पितर बर्हिषद अर्थात् कुशाओं पर बैठने वाले हैं, वे स्वधा के साथ सोमरस पीते हैं. हे अग्नि! उन्हें मेरे समीप बुलाओ. (४५)
EN English Translation
I appear before the fathers who do welfare. I am present in front of the agni that protects the yajna. Therefore, the ancestors who are going to sit on the bahishad i.e. kushas, they drink someras with swadha. O agni! Call them close to me. (45)
