हे अग्नि! तुम्हारी ज्वालाएं दहनशील अर्थात् जलाने वाली हैं. उन में रस का हरण करने वाली शक्ति आ जाए. तुम इस मृतक के शरीर को पूरी तरह से जलाओ. शरीर दहन के पश्चात इस पुरुष को पुण्य करने वालों के लोक स्वर्ग पहुंचाओ. (७१)
EN English Translation
O agni! Your flames are combustible. They should have the power to remove the juice. You burn the body of this deceased completely. After the burning of the body, take this man to the world heaven of those who do virtue. (71)
