जिस गेहूं तथा अन्य प्रकार के पूओं से युक्त कुंभी पक्व ओदन रूप चरु इस कार्य में अस्थियों के पश्चिम भाग में रहे. यह संस्कार जिस प्रेत के लिए किया जा रहा है, उस के लिए स्वर्ग का निर्माण करने वाले इंद्र आदि देवताओं में से हवि के अधिकारी यहां वर्तमान देवताओं को हम प्रसन्न करते हैं. (२४)
EN English Translation
The comb with wheat and other types of poos remained in the western part of the bones in this work. We please the present deities here, including Indra, who created heaven for the ghost for which this rite is being performed. (24)
