हे प्रेत! मनुष्यों को देखने वाले देवता टपकते हुए जल से युक्त वायु के वेग से चलते हुए एवं स्वर्ग प्राप्त कराने वाले इस कुंभ को तेरे लिए धन के रूप में जानते हैं. तेरे गोत्र वाले तुझे इस कुंभ के जल से तृप्त करते हैं. कुंभोदक अर्थात् घड़े का जल देने वाले तुझे सात माताओं रूपी जल धारा की दक्षिणा सदा प्रदान करते हैं. (२९)
EN English Translation
O ghost! The gods who see human beings, walking at the velocity of the air with dripping water and attaining heaven, know this Kumbh as wealth for you. Your tribe satisfies you with the water of this Kumbh. Kumbhodak, that is, those who give the water of the pitcher, always give you the dakshina of the water stream of seven mothers. (29)
