आकाश से गिरती हुई उल्काओं से अपने स्थान से पतित होने वाले नक्षत्र हमें शांति प्रदान करें. शत्रुओं द्वारा हमें मारने के निमित्त किए गए अभिचार कर्म (जादूटोने, टोटके) तथा पिशाचियां हमारे उपद्रवों को शांत करने वाली हों. भूमि खोद कर तथा हड्डी, केश आदि लपेट कर बनाई गई विष पुत्तलिकाएं हमें शांति देने वाली हों. आकाश से गिरने वाली उल्काएं देखने से जो अनिष्ट होता है, उसे उल्काएं ही शांत करें. राष्ट्र में होने वाले विघ्न भी शांत हों. May the constellations falling from their place by the meteors falling from the sky give us peace. The acts (witchcraft, tricks) and vampires done by the enemies to kill us should calm our troubles. The poison puttillaries made by digging the ground and wrapping bone, hair etc. should give us peace. The meteors should calm the evil of seeing the meteors falling from the sky. The obstacles in the nation should also be calmed down. (9)
