कया॑ नश्चि॒त्र आ भु॑वदू॒ती स॒दावृ॑धः॒ सखा॑ । कया॒ शचि॑ष्ठया वृ॒ता ॥ (१)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
सदा वृद्धि करने वाले ये सखा किस रक्षा साधन से हमारी रक्षा करेंगे? उन की रक्षात्मक वृत्ति किस प्रकार पूरी होगी? (१)
EN English Translation
With what means will these ever-growing friends protect us? How will their defensive instincts be fulfilled? (1)
कस्त्वा॑ स॒त्यो मदा॑नां॒ मंहि॑ष्ठो मत्स॒दन्ध॑सः । दृ॒ढा चि॑दा॒रुजे॒ वसु॑ ॥ (२)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! हर्ष उत्पन्न करने वाली हवियों में सोम रूप अन्न का कौन सा अंश श्रेष्ठ है, जिस केद्वारा प्रसन्न होते हुए तुम धन को अपने भक्तों में विकीर्ण कर देते हो. (२)
EN English Translation
O Indra! Which part of the food in the form of Soma is the best among the desires that produce happiness, by which you, while being pleased, scatter the wealth among your devotees. (2)
अ॒भी षु णः॒ सखी॑नामवि॒ता ज॑रितॄ॒णाम् । श॒तं भ॑वास्यू॒तिभिः॑ ॥ (३)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
हे इंद्र! तुम हम स्तुतिकर्ताओं के सखा के समान हो. तुम हमारे सामने सैकड़ों बार प्रकट हुए हो. (३)
EN English Translation
O Indra! You are like a friend of us eulogists. You have appeared to us hundreds of times. (3)
इ॒मा नु कं॒ भुव॑ना सीषधा॒मेन्द्र॑श्च॒ विश्वे॑ च दे॒वाः । य॒ज्ञं च॑ नस्त॒न्वं च प्र॒जां चा॑दि॒त्यैरिन्द्रः॑ स॒ह ची॑क्लृपाति ॥ (४)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
ऋत्विज् तथा सभी देवताओं के साथ इंद्र हमारे उस यज्ञ को पूर्ण करें. (४)
EN English Translation
May Indra complete that yajna with Ritvij and all the gods. (4)
आ॑दि॒त्यैरिन्द्रः॒ सग॑णो म॒रुद्भि॑र॒स्माकं॑ भूत्ववि॒ता त॒नूना॑म् । ह॒त्वाय॑ दे॒वा असु॑रा॒न्यदाय॑न्दे॒वा दे॑व॒त्वम॑भि॒रक्ष॑माणाः ॥ (५)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
देवत्व की रक्षा के लिए जिन देवों ने राक्षसों को नष्ट किया, वे इंद्र आदित्यों और मरुतों सहित हमारे शरीरों की रक्षा करें. (५)
EN English Translation
The gods who destroyed the demons to protect divinity, may Indra protect our bodies, including the Adityas and maruts. (5)
प्र॒त्यञ्च॑म॒र्कम॑नय॒ञ्छची॑भि॒रादित्स्व॒धामि॑षि॒रां पर्य॑पश्यन् । अ॒या वाजं॑ दे॒वहि॑तं सनेम॒ मदे॑म श॒तहि॑माः सु॒वीराः॑ ॥ (६)
हि हिन्दी अनुवाद
वे देव अपने बल से सूर्य को सब के सामने उदय करते हैं. उन्होंने पृथ्वी को हवियों से युक्त किया है. देवताओं के सेवक हम उन्हीं के द्वारा अन्न प्राप्त करें तथा वीरों से सुसंगत रहते हुए सौ वर्ष की आयु प्राप्त करें. (६)
EN English Translation
Those gods raise the sun in front of everyone with their strength. They have filled the earth with havis. We, servants of the gods, should get food through them and attain the age of 100 years while staying in harmony with the heroes. (6)
